The location 20 minutes from Downtown Chicago

Horrible experience. We ended up with a free night stay and canceling our 2nd night. We ate at the Basil Kitchen where we sent back our kids food because it was horrible. The chicken fingers were gray. My husband ate all his beef tenderloins and mashed potatoes and ended up with food poison. We got to our room and it was blood on the sheets and the previous guest shirt in the bed which clearly indicated the room had not been cleaned. Due to my husband getting sick we was not able to make it to my cousin funeral and continue with our stay. I will be sending a formal letter to the hotel. We stayed their on the night of July 4, 2014.

I like the breakfast and the evening reception.

The front desk staff that day are not helpful at all. There are some customers that are having problem wirh parking space. Also, the staff who is ckecking us in is not friendly.

The room was outstanding, with the bedroom separate from the main quarters. The free breakfast was amazing. I don't generally eat breakfast, but what was offered looked so delicious, I couldn't pass it up. Also the free "happy hour" was a very pleasant surprise, even though I wasn't able to take advantage of it. I didn't see that on the website- if you advertised that, I can't imagine the other hotels having an advantage over you. I stay next door at Doubletree several months ago, and Embassy Suites has them beat hands down!

The parking arrangements and fee. I understand there isn't much else you could do, in that area, but the fee seems a little steep.

My room was nice overall, the hotel was nice and comparable to other embassy suites appearance-wise...Staff was attentive when I did have issues.

The manager's reception was horrible. They only had a snack mix. The restaurant was understaffed for dinner, for the prices they charge, they should have better service. The cook for breakfast had no help, resulting in overcooked omelette and waffle...bleh.

No exhaust fan in bathroom. And it smell like someone smoke in the room. I am allergic to tobacco. But all rooms were full.

Happy hour and breakfast were nice.

Staff was extremely unorfanized and incompetent. I booked room through and the staff stilked charged my room and tge secobd room I booked twice on our debit/credit cards which were only supposed to be held for incidental expenes. I have paid above and beyond price on, regular room rate and two charges of $50 for incidentals. I am upset, confused and disappointed in how it was handled. Nothing has been settled yet.

There was plenty of space in our King bedroom suite for our family of 3: 2 children & 1 adult. There was a kitchen sink, another sink/mirror in the main bedroom & a sink inside the bathroom. For 3 females, it was perfect. Besides that, it's a beautiful hotel with easy access to the Blue Line which takes you directly into downtown in about 40 minutes. I am a petite single mother and I felt very comfortable taking my 2 girls into the city using the l from Embassy Suites Rosemont.

There wasn't enough staff at the breakfast to keep up with customer demands/needs. We stayed 3 nights & each am, they were always out of something: either milk or spoons, but always bacon! It wasn't the staff's fault. I blame management. We were there the wkend before July 4th, so it was maybe busier than usual. But volume could have been predicted.
