Score from 180 reviews Excellent
Loved everything. The breakfast was great, they had everything you can think of.
Had to pay for parking and it was under the hotel locked up. We had to use our room key to go in and out, so there should be no reason to pay for parking.
Breakfast seating area and made to order cooks were awesome
The rooms were outdated
Bed was quite comfortable. I asked for a quiet room and got it, for which I was glad as the hotel had a stable of kids, more then I have ever seen in an ES.
No stir sticks, sugar or artificial sweetener with the coffee. Several bad stains in the hall way carpet. 5:30 reception snacks and variety worst I have had at any ES.
Obatined a great value discount price for the stay, very spacious King suite
The room size
The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable the shower water wasn't hot enough the breakfast didn't have any pork alternative and everything had a ridiculous extra charge on top of how expensive the stay already was. I expected more for the money.
The room and breakfast service was great. I loved the location.
Waiting delayed 40min-1hr to check in. My smoking preference for a room was not met.
The hotel is in a great location & only a few minutes away from D.C on the metro. We plan on staying there again very soon!
The convenience and comfort were first rate.
hotel was very clean, great setup, rooms were spacious and bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful, location was great, very close to The White House and the Pentagon
some of the rooms were very close together and large family next to us was extremely loud, piled about 20 plates up outside theirs/our room from room service. Bar closes early
Great Location, staff
1. The included breakfast is horrible. The made to order eggs were not nice. 2. The hotel is dirty looking generally. Starting from the garage were there is so much litter. Then the hallways have litter and the carpets are dity and stained. 3. They had scheduled Maintainance on our floor so we had to change rooms the second night around 11pm. We got a complimentary night but it was very inconvenient for us. 4. Very noisy due to the open atrium I think there should be a noise policy.
The only thing I liked about staying at the Embassy suites was it was close to Pentagon Row mall. I was able to do my shopping for back to school sales.
What i didn't like about the Embassy suites was the parking was $27.00 a night to park into a garage where u can get stuck at any time. I also didn't like the breakfast set up, its was cold in the seating area, food on the line was cold and worse of all, the lady who was cooking the omelets was doing cross contamination. using one tong to pick each item with the same tong. I ask her could she use another tong when making my omelet due to i can't have onions nor mushrooms, she refuse to do so. I suggest that if she or anyone else is going to deal with food should be ServSafe. At this time i will not be back. Thanks
We would prefer a little bit more variation in the breakfast buffet.
rooms were clean and comfy, breakfast was wonderful, staff was great, hotel was very, very, very nice
We happened to have bad timing on parking, and they had construction vehicles in the driveway of the hotel. We had to park next door, but that was just a fluke.
Shuttle service, front desk staff, bed, pool, breakfast.
Cleanliness. Friendly, helpful staff. Complimentary drinks and breakfast.
Decor of rooms should be updated--wall coverings, carpet. sofabed.Paying for wifi.
parking was a mess because of an affair that was going on in hotel
nothing to dislike
The room was spacious. Staff attentive to needs. Breakfast was wonderfull. Price was great. Gym was excellent. Wifi availabilty was good.
The bed was just so comfortable - I slept really well. I also liked the fact I could eat in my room if I wished - because of the fridge and microwave and lounge area - and not eat out if I didn't want to. There was breakfast included and the choice was very good. Also free tea and coffee both in the room and in the lounge area downstairs. The staff were all lovely. Also I had a bath and shower in my en-suite and it was great to have the option. I was visiting the Institute of Psychological Sciences and the hotel was right opposite - fantastic. I would definitely stay again.
If there had been a small shop or greater choice of provisions to buy at the hotel it would have been marvellous.
That there was not free wifi throughout hotel
Room was outstanding for the price and free breakfast was the bomb. I did not use the paid wifi which I thought was free. I will use embassy suites again when traveling to District of Columbia and will gladly recommend it
No free wifi
I enjoyed everything. From the breakfast, happy hour and my complimentary champagne, candy and signed card from the staff. I needed the small get away.
The staff was fabulous. Everyone was helpful and truly wanted to make you stay the best it could be.
Comfortable and quiet in room even when restaurant and lobby were bustling
