The reception, at 7pm the exercise and business area, the breakfast and lobby area . But atruim, is not there and size of the rooms not for more than 2 ppl.
No privacy in bedroom. The area is in the bedroom so if you have family they have to keep going thru the area where you sleep. So no privacy. Too small and the pully door didn't work. The bedding was dingy and wringled up and not at all close to Embassy Suites.
Size of room is good. Location by airport.
First we got someone's wakeup call at 3 am. Before that the heating unit sounded like a truck for 2 hours during the night. Never really to got any sleep. Mentioned on my way out -- staff did not really seem to care! Won't stay there again. Not worth almost $200 -- should have stayed at Westin or one of the $90 rooms on the strip would have been better
The breakfast was the best part because they have a chef that cooks your eggs. Everything you could want for breakfast.
For 200 a night thought the room would be nicer. Paint was chipping off thought the bathroom would be bigger and no walk in tile shower. Yellow lighting is ugly. Very cheap amenities, carpet beds, bathroom fixtures. For 220 might as well go to Vegas and get a luxury suite
Liked it just fine
Didn't like it that I couldn't park there while I went on plane trip. Thought I could because I read free parking. Very disappointed
Pretty much everything. The food is exceptional...This will be my "go-to" hotel in the future, whenever I fly in or out of Detroit Metro.
They charged me the wrong rate and now I will have to wait for it to be corrected on my credit card.
The room was large, lovely, and clean. The bed was so-o comfy, and the full breakfast was delicious!.
The only problem was that Booking.com had faxed my information to the hotel, including my full credit card number, but they had not actually reserved a room for me. When I arrived they did not have a room reserved for me and they were sold out. Fortunately the desk clerk was excellent and told me they usually hold a few rooms back so they were able to get me into a room. This could have been a disaster for me because I was supposed to have gotten home that night but due to a late flight I missed my connection in Detroit, which happened to be the last flight out to my destination that night and I couldn't get out until 8:51 the next morning.
Room. Service. Food (for breakfast).
Bit crowded in the breakfast area.
Very relaxing stay. Great for an early morning flight.
The purpose was to come down and set outside and watch the planes come and go and with our balcony room, we got just that and what a relaxing time it was. Looking forward to doing it again.
Airport shuttle was quick and efficient. Both drivers friendly. Room clean and spacious. Restruant staff especially helpful after very long day.
Smell of pool - cloriane - into common area!
I like the whole embassy suites experience and I stay there wherever I go
The distance from downtown Detroit I to rent a car because the taxi was too expensive every day that I go into the city
Big room, I liked the layout. Check in and out was easy. Very easy to get back and forth to airport. Breakfast was good.
I thought the room could have been a little cleaner. It smelled of mildew in the bathroom and there were some hairs around.
The ac in the room was not working that well and it rattled all night long . Which kept all 3 of us awake. When I laid down to go to sleep at 11 . There was 2 balled up used napkin s in the sheets . It was so nasty . I told the front desk the next morn about both . Nothing was asked to me if there was anything u guys could do for the horrible night we had . Well done embassy suites . If u look at how many times I've stay at embassy suites in the past 2 years . You will find I be spent over 6000 dollars with the chain. That's not the way a loyal customer should me treated!!!!!!!
