Fold out bed wasn't comfortable
Great location! Staff very friendly, and even upgraded us to a river view which was amazing! I planned this trip on the drop of a hat to surprise my husband for our anniversary and it was wonderful!! I will be going back!
The only thing I would say is that the curtains in the living room didn't shut closed so if you were in the living room with a light on anyone who walked by could see in the room.
The appearance of the facilities and the comfort of the room was exceptional, and when you add the excellent breakfast and the free manager's reception, it is a really great deal!
It would have been nice to have had free wifi in my room. You can have free wifi in the public spaces of the facility, but not your private room.
We love this hotel because it is laid out so nicely - the manager's reception and brunch are amazing - more snacks at the reception would have been good, but it was ok. The rooms are very nice, the pool is lovely. Love the weight room. Enjoyed the shuttle usage for local restaurants too.
I would say, just a few more snacks at the managers reception.
Drinks, breakfast and location were great. The amenities in the room were plentiful. This is the only hotel I would stay in while visiting the area.
The curtains in the room don't close so you have no privacy in the sitting room and the light comes in the bedroom in the morning. The room needs curtain that close.
We were meeting family at a buffet at Metamora Golf Club so location was ideal. Lobby was nice and big to accomodate all returning for an extended visit. Managers reception was just ok. Veggies were not fresh and dips may have beenvreused. Room was fine and I always enjoy having the suite with two televisions.
Was very dissapointed that the breakfast buffet closed at 9:30. My husband was able to order a n omelet for each of us but the buffet itself was closed. No meat or potatoes. I had to eat my omelet with a spoon. No silverware. All was removed. Many guests arriving for breakfast after us were eating cold cereal which was available. We lingered at the table reading the paper and after a while 8 or more people were lined up for the kitchen. They had turned the lights back on and the chef was again cooking so I guess other guests complained as well and they reopened. They should have honored holiday hours for the entire 4 days.
I always love staying at embassy!! My husband and I said our first I love yous here and got engaged here!!
I have the rewards points but they can never find me in there system (I have since lost my card) I couldn't stay there my wedding night (we drive from an hour away) because they were booked and couldn't find my rewards to offer me a room . That's gets annoying . The bar is excellent!
everything besides the windows
the windows in both the living room and bedroom didnt close fully, so people could see into the living room if they walked by and the sun woke us up at 8 am because we couldnt close the blinds. not sure who designed that but its a HUGE flaw

It was a great place to stay. Would stay here again.
We love the bed and pillows in the room. Very comfy. The breakfast was delicous.
Some of the workers down at the breakfast were a little rude. Didn't seem to be very thrilled to be serving the customers. Also when checking out we had to wait about 15 minutes for a housekeeper to look at the room so we could get our $20 incidental deposit back. Overall I was pretty satisfies. Prices are a little high for my liking bit we enjoyed our stay.
I like the nightly reception and of course the daily breakfast. The room was comfy and spacious. Our view from our room was nice.
The price of the hotel. This was a splurge because we can't afford to stay at Embassy Suites very often. The rooms should be no more than 100 to 150, expecially after you have to add on the taxes. Parking lot was full on the weekends and you had to keep driving around to find a spot unless you parked far far away under the bridge.
Leftover soap in shower from previous occupants. Gross.
Facilities; atrium area Breakfast!!!
Room not ready at 5 pm
Great location, easy to get to downtown. The staff was great and very nice clean rooms!
Not the hotel's fault but to many kids! A lot of traffic up and down the halls and door closeing late at night (after 10 pm).
The overall experience was great, good size rooms, very clean.
Restaurant had limited menu and bar staff very slow.
The rooms are awesome and the staff was beyond wonderful. The breakfast was incredible...best I have ever had at a hotel! I will definitely stay here again and certainly recommend to others!!
