Embassy Suites Los Angeles - International Airport/North  

This is a fun hotel. There was a happy hour with a free drink and chips, which encouraged socialising among the guests. Our family suite was big, which made it comfortable travelling with our two-year old. Proximity to the airport was helpful, given our early flight. However we stayed three nights in all, and enjoyed our time. I'd have no problem recommending this hotel to families.

Loved the size of thr rooms, loved the mangers cocktails wow was that a surprise and loved the breakfast . The staff were efficient and friendly ..would definitely recommend for a short stay/stopover inLA

Nothing really the surrounding area was only hotels and parking for the airport but you are staying at an airport hotel for convenience ....

Room was awful think it was an old storage unit. Did not feel safe there at all.

There was no free Internet (WiFi) which is most important to me.

The location is nice for those who want to stay near the LAX airport, convenient shuttle to and from airport. Pretty standard Embassy Suites. My king suite had a large bathroom.

The breakfast was overwhelmed. Ran out of silverware, food, etc etc. Staff there was unable to keep up. Gave up on eating breakfast there one morning. Given that is one of the major reasons to stay at Embassy, this was a major flaw in my view.

Location to lax.

Room service extremely mediocre, but expensive. Breakfast tasteless. Traveled with my partner, who is female (we are a gay couple) and we received plenty of stares from the staff.

This was an overnight break during a long trip, so we only wanted the basics for a good night's sleep. On check-in we found we were unable to connect to WiFi because we were in a corner room - first annoyance. We then went to the restaurant for a meal. Noone there to serve us. We had to yell for someone to come. Our order was incorrect and it was difficult to get drinks. In the morning, coffee and muffins was a disappointment. The milk was sour and there were no coffee cups. The beds were comfortable even though the sheets were torn.

I would only stay in the area, which is frankly dismal, in order to be close to my flight. However, of the hotels I have used so far, this was the most pleasant and the staff uniformly helpful and friendly. I would like especially to commend Michael at the front desk. Both I and several other people, some who knew him from before, commented on his warmth, efficiency and efforts to please. I hope that will be rewarded and that he makes deserved professional progress.

My one negative comment is that you do not offer free wifi throughout the hotel. This is inhospitable, inappropriate in this day and age and negatively affects your reputation more than the additional income affects your profit. I would definitely factor it into my choice on my next passage through la.

I love the fact that the service is always the same. The older gentleman in the restaurant provided exceptional customer service as did the bellhop that. Looks like a young Brendan Fraser. The check in man probably in his late 30's did what he had to do and no more I felt like I was a nuisance. He was just not very forth coming when I was asking for advice. The older gentleman on the morning of the 5th was lovely and I wish he had been in when I checked in on my birthday on the 4th. Ill stay there again due to proximity, shuttles and breakfast being included, the beds are also very comfortable.

Stayed for a couple of nights in transit Brisbane-- New York and also on return, Good place to unload credit card with shopping at Culver City-- Westfield Mall (Macy's, jc Penny & Target etc) and Howard Hughes Centre (Nordstrum Rack)--about $12 taxi each way. Also $7 Ocean Express Shuttle to Manhattan Beach, Manhattan Beach Mall and El Segunda Centre. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Good free breakfast and great, well-priced restaurant on-site. Also free happy "hour" from 5.30 to 7.00 each night.

Paying for parking

The location was good as we wanted to break our journey after 14 hours on an airplane. It was quiet and the staff were able to find a room that would allow an early book-in to sleep. We felt it was good value.

The staff was very friendly, and pleasant very helpfull, the rooms very clean, it was a very good expirience . Would definitely come back . Breakfast was great.

Just the fact that they just provide you with 2 bottles of water in your room and when they clean they don't replace the empty ones . But I guess that is a minor thing everything else was great.

Great staff and a wonderful atmosphere in the hotel. Everything was exceptional - will stay there again.

Not a single complaint!

The quick trip from the Airport on the free shuttle , drinks etc in the evening and free breakfast.... Also a bonus now is the shuttle out to Huntington Beach and shopping Malls for only $5 Great way to fill in the afternoon after arriving on a earlier flight. Highly recommend this hotel and we have stayed several times now on flights from nz thru to England etc .....
