Complimentary breakfast and evening drinks
Closet door in room was broken and tub drained slowly
The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Comfortable room. Great location. Great Breakfast.
The pillows were tiny.
Our room was great, service Was Fantastic.... Having to pay for wifi not great!!! very clean, people were great in helping out on directions! I give it a two thumbs up
The breakfast Was so so, having to pay for wifi, but what lacked there they made Up in service
The breakfast buffet was nice. The cocktail hour with snack was very nice too. The staff was always courteous.
The beds were a bit uncomfortable for my taste. I think they could use a padded mattress on top. There was no hot tub. After a long day it would've been stellar.
I did enjoy the view from my room, the private balcony. I also had a great welcome from manager Don. He was very helpful and friendly and made my stay accommodating.
I didn't like the idea of having to pay for wifi. I ordered towels from the front desk and never received them but did receive a call from the front desk following up. I also didn't like the idea of $40 valet parking and they didn't inform me my car was going to be parked in another garage.
Conveniently located 15 miuntes or less from major attractions in the city: French Quarter Garden District Nola Convention Ctr. Warehouse/Art District Good selections for dining Riverwalk Shopping Mall Harrah's Casino 20-30 minutes from msy airport FREE DAILY BREAKFAST & HAPPY HOUR!!!! Nice and courteous staff
Seemed a little isloated at times; especially at night Parts of the hotel were under construction Noisy bathroom with fan and light unit connecting
I liked that the rooms were mostly suites. My room had a small balcony which was nice. One of the concierges, Barbara, was super friendly and helpful. All the staff were welcome and accommodating. Loved it there.
I didn't dislike anything although the bathroom shower could use a better scrubbing on the bottom, or new sealant since it looked a little dirty.
Amazing location. Close to the French Quarter and amazing restaurants
The building was under construction.
The staf was very friendly & helpful
Paying for wi-fi, so I didn't use it.
Fresh & clean room with nice balcony. The included breakfast was far more extensive & of better quality than any other included breakfasts at this hotel rate. Staff very efficient at booking in the horde who appeared at check in time! Less than a mile walk to the FQ; lots of lesser known but great places to eat in between. Parking $35 which stinks but standard for NOLA hotels; parking staff efficient and garage right on site.
No free wifi!! Especially considering their lavish breakfast, staffed with to-order omelet makers, how lame is it to make guests pay >$12/night for wifi, when it's likely they pay one rate no matter how many use it! Their ads say all rooms have wifi - they don't exactly say it's not free. Tacky.
Cooked to order omelettes Courteous helpful staff Excellent location Evening drinks & snacks Gym facilities
Small pool & outside sitting area
Snacks and drinks.
A family was having a family reunion and took over all the tables and chairs during the snacks and drinks.
Breakfast was great! Lobby Was welcoming. Staff was nice.
A little farther from activities we planned than we would have liked
Had to walk through garage to get to room..there are 2 buildings here..not one. Also, happy hour had only doritos and pretzels...the tiniest offerings of any Embassy we have stayed in.
The location, fitness center, outdoor pool, happy hour and the suite itself w/a balcony.
The fridge didn't have a freezer compartment and the $40.00 per day to park in the hotel garage.
The location...the staff was nice...happy hour :)
The noisy air conditioner in our room. The price of parking.
That it didn't have a hot tud an when u book your room it says different....That's not fair....
The location was great, very easy to get to and a nice walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The staff at Embassy Suites were wonderful. Everyone treated my entire family with courtesy and kindness. The breakfasts had variety and wee delicious. The cocktail hour was a nice treat after sight-seeing throughout the day.
Housekeeping left a little to be desired, such as our garbage wasn't emptied every day (and the can was full) our towels were not folded and put under the sink, but left on the back of the toilet.
The food was good
I had to wait two hour for my room to be ready nothing was as planned very unorganized
Our room at The Loft was perfect.
It was close to the convention center and I was there for a conference.
Everything else. Maintenance couldn't fix a leaky toilet b/c the room was scheduled for a renovation; the air conditioner would not work properly so my only choices were frigid and scortching; there was no hot water for 2 days straight (made showers disastrous); and the kicker? Booking.com provided a phenomenal rate... The hotel charged me almost double the rate and would not print out a folio because they stated I had booked it through a third party. Booking.com had to track it down and get the hotel to issue a refund. In short -- if you need to stay near the convention center, choose another hotel. If you're just looking for a hotel in no, don't bother with this one. (Oh, and I'm a loyal Hilton honors member and almost always stay at Hilton properties. So I'm not bashing this one because I hate Hilton. Quite the opposite... I expected way more from that chain than I got.)
Location was good. Concierge and parking attendants were awesome, and staff in General were friendly.
Disarray of ongoing construction, although I totally understand it has to be done.
Hotel was clean. Staff was helpful & friendly. Breakfast was good.
Hotel was under construction- pool was closed. No tea at breakfast one day & coffee was poor.
