Featuring an indoor pool and fitness center, Residence Inn by Marriott Portland Downtown/Pearl District is in the center of the city of Portland.
Score from 90 reviews Wonderful
Located one mile from downtown Portland in the Lloyd District, this hotel is a 5-minute drive from the Rose Garden Arena. It has a fitness center and spacious suites with full kitchens.
Score from 135 reviews Very good
This hotel is 10 miles from Portland Airport (PDX). It includes a gym, and an indoor swimming pool. Free Wi-Fi and free wired internet are available.
Score from 38 reviews Very good
This Portland hotel is on the waterfront less than a 5 minute walk from Riverplace Marina, which features shopping and dining. The hotel offers rooms with flat-screen TVs.
Score from 196 reviews Very good
Relaxed atmosphere, clean, complementary drinks and snacks on Sunday evening.
Considerable noise from the elevator machinery at night (room on 8th floor).
The concierge was really good, very helpful. The front desk staff also excellent. The lobby was magnificent. The room was the best we stayed in on our two week trip. Excellent bed and bedding.
It really made me mad that there wasn't free, simple internet access. This struck me as a case of some goofball corporate penny pincher who has no idea how his plan for corporate synergy can annoy a visitor to the hotel. I paid for internet, but that was only for my laptop. Was I supposed to also pay for the iPad and two smart phones? Also, another really stupid penny pinching idea: cheap, thin toilet paper.
The map of down town was very helpful we really enjoyed. the fresh hot breakfast.
The parking fee was a bit extreme. I think you should have free WIFI in your rooms.
Huge rooms. Good wifi. Very comfortable
Like the rest of accommodation in Portland, it was quite expensive
Old world charm indoor. Great breakfast Comfortable bed Nice staff
Location Staff helpfulness Cleanliness Facilities
Very central and easy to walk to nearby sights or public transit.
Efficient staff that was helpful in providing information about getting around Portland.
The complimentary (and tasty!) hot breakfast buffet every morning and complimentary reception with decent snacks and free drinks (beer, wine, soft drinks and well drinks -- premium liquors were available for not much $) every evening really added value to our stay here. Staff was invariably super welcoming, warm and helpful. Location at the edge of old town was great -- we didn't have a car, walked to pioneer square, china town, the pearl district, Saturday market, waterfront, etc. Could almost see Voodoo donut from our window! Very easy to catch bus/MAX/streetcar to anywhere in the city. Stayed in a king suite which was enormous, clean & comfy and clearly designed for business travelers. Highly recommend if it's in your price range!
I was expecting a bit more from the "kitchenette" which in our suite consisted of a microwave, hotel sized fridge, and tiny sink on one side of the living room. There was a corkscrew and bottle opener (yes!) but no other utensils, etc. Was not actually issue at all for us, but if you were planning to actually cook in the room it would be tricky.
Great breakfast and entry lobby is very impressive. Lovely and relaxing place we were happy with the beds and layout of the room. Really nice to have two rooms with two teen age kids.
Pull out bed could have been more comfy.
Price of parking
Front desk very good. Curbside attendants were excellent in providing directions as well as being very professional.
Maid service was terrible. Made bed, left towels and soap but nothing else. Empty bottle left on table, no new water bottle, writing table was bare but hotel books were scattered. This isn't what were used to in other hotels such as Hilton or Marriott. Did as little as possible it appeared. The hotel area had more than share of beggers, homeless and drunks.
Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable rooms. Always love the breakfasts!
Downstairs breakfast and reception room a bit dark and dated.
The location is within walking distance to many local area restaurants as well as Saturday market and Voodoo donuts! They have a very good breakfast, but the area is a little crowded and was totally packed when we were there.
Spacious rooms, excellent full breakfast with omelet station, beautiful old building in a convenient downtown location
Fault in their system resulted in multiple daily charges for internet instead of one charge per day per room, but staff adjusted billing without debate
Needed to pay for internet in rooms, even with high hotel point membership.
Room was great. Breakfast buffet was great. The free happy hour was super..
location space free breakfast
non free internet level of service
great lobby, rooms, and staff
breakfast room was cavernous, noisy and confusing. The omlets though were excellent
NO ACCEPT ROOM 234, too much noise, the windows are very close to the ventilation equipment ... Even being very comfortable the room not recommended, please choice any other room....
Free breakfast buffet and evening get-togethers
Being charged for Wi-Fi
Two room suite. Large windows. Good ac.
We didn't get the room we reserved. We were on our anniversary trip and had reserved a King suite. We got two queens. Also, if you headed in the wrong direction out of the hotel, you ended up in a pretty seedy neighborhood.
Gym and pool. Size and quality of room - Suite was excellent. Staff were super helpful throughout. Great cosmopolitan location in the 'Wierd' city
Breakfast area needs a refresh.
Shady areas near the hotel
Old building, free wi fi only in loopy. I tried embassy suites in many citeis, the worst was in Portland downtown. Restaurant two floor in basement. Overpriced. Overpriced.
