The beds were too hard
Everything! So relaxing and a bargain compared to other hotels in the area.
No pay per view movies
I like the suite nature of the rooms.
Booked four rooms. Two King Bedded rooms, and two double/Doubles. Checked in and was told that only one king bedded room was available, and the other room would only a double. Not comfortable for a married couple. The desk clerk said that I should have booked direct with the hotel, and therefore this was my problem. They did not honor what I paid for.
Dinner at the restuarant was excellent!!
Food at breakfast was cold.
Size of room Comfort of bed Great Manager's Cocktail Reception Location (we were shopping at a Washington a Square before flight home) Resraurant - good value meals
Hotel looking tired but we understand refurbishment begins January 2015 Saturday night - this was our 2nd visit encompassing a Sarurday night stay and hotel full of children so unless a family would recommend staying another night.
Very convenient for shopping. Food was excellent. Manager's reception was a lovely bonus.
Have nothing negative to say.
The breakfast was exceptional. The location of the hotel was perfect and our room was very clean.
The Front Desk staff demonstrated professionalism in thier appearence and speech, however they lacked warmth and seemed cold and aloof. The lighting and electical outlets in the rooms were dated and worn out. A strong Wii-fi connection should be a standard accomodation. Having to pay for a sufficient Wii-fi connection seemed ridiculous at this price point. I also did not appreciate having my card charged on the morning of check out for "incidentals." We did not order room service and we did not trash the room. We have never had one of your competetors charge us for services that "might be" rendered. We also stated our check out time when we booked the room. Twice the morning of we had housekeeping knock on our door and ask when we were leaving. Obviously there was a breakdown in communication. We felt like unwelcomed guests. We will avoid Embassy Suites in the future.
The atmosphere and the great service
Could mix up the nightime snacks a bit
I always love staying in an Embassy Suite hotel. You always know what you are getting. The breakfast was great. The atrium is a wonderful place to meet with others. The rooms are set up business and leisure.
staff was very nice and helpful and the location was convenient for us.
no toilet paper in the bathroom, missing lightbulb in lamp in living room, door to room was very hard to open and bathroom cleanliness was not up to par, closet door was extremely difficult to move back and forth.
We were in Room 904 and the elevator sounded like a truck!
Desk Staff and room service were exceptional. Food deserved 4 stars
Cleaning staff left trays of food and food wrappers on counter in room after cleaning. Had to leave note to advise them to remove food.
room quiet & bed comfortable
10 minute wait for elevators, every time, day and night. 45 minute wait for an omlette then additional wait for the hot side dishes. Only one omlette chef for an entire hotel!!!!! come on, shame on you I realize it was a weekend but I am sure they are always nearly full on weekends.
Free parking, the breakfast.
Saw pets in the hotel. Room smelled like animals had stayed. The decor was dated and the pool was very small.
Conveniently located to shopping at Washington Square Mall.
Nothing to note.
The pillows on bed were nice and Bruce was good
The guy who checked us in, poor customer service. Also, on our way to brunch there were three staff members are check in desk that were to busy chatting to each other to even say good morning.
Service with courtesy. Ample Car Parking..
Staff was extremely courteous; room was very clean and all amenities were in place; manager's reception was very welcoming and a nice break after our arrival;
The location was great. Rooms have plenty of space.
Room was in next to elevators so it was very noisey. Breakfast was nothing spectacular. We stayed at a Holiday Inn a few weeks back and the breakfast at that hotel was way better.
Close to shopping
Couldn't check in early because the room wasn't ready. We didn't need the room early-- just wanted to checkin because we were leaving for the day and wouldn't be back until late.
Breakfast, size of rooms, reception time, overall comfort and friendliness.
