Wifi access from the room is pretty thin. They basically expect you to only login from the lobby and dining area. Uncool. Especially since the place is otherwise obviously intended to be serving business travelers well.
The "business center" in the lobby is the usual unimpressive couple of ancient windows machines with no other basic office amenities.
No in-room safe. You have to check-in valuables to the desk clerk. What? Again, very inconvenient for business travel.
The breakfast buffet line is 30-45 minutes at nearly any time of morning (I tried.) Then 20 minutes more if you want an omelet or other made-to-order hot item. The number of tables is woefully inadequate, meaning after all that waiting, you also need to retreat to your room or else hover to grab a table from a departing family as soon as they leave their sticky mess behind. The table cleaning was also way behind the traffic. They just don't have remotely adequate capacity for it all.
The all-ages happy hour is a handful of popcorn and access to the soda fountain. I kid you not.
The staff were very helpful and gracious when the Booking.com reservation could not be found in their system.
The suites can comfortably accommodate 2 pairs of travelers, or 2 adults and 2-3 kids. It has two rooms, with the outer one having a sofabed. The rooms are separated by a real door that closes, and both rooms have a television. The outer room's has hookups for gaming, etc. So I can see why it's a such a magnet for families.
There is a bar sink, microwave, and bar fridge, plus cabinet shelves adequate for a small pantry. Very useful for someone like me who prefers to do simple food prep. For long-term business travel, eating out 3 meals a day is not healthy.
The restraurant stays open reasonably late, has a tasteful sportsbar that isn't too noisy.
There is a laundry room! With multiple machines! And the room can only be opened by a hotel key card! For long-term travel, this is a godsend.
The desk protrudes into the room, with a rolling chair on either side. It's completely viable for two people to use at the same time as long as they don't mind.
Having the master room at the back of the suite is great. No hall noise comes through at all.
The morning buffet, despite its flaws, is the real deal. No "continental breakfast". Everything you'd expect from a good diner-style breakfast buffet, plus made-to-offer omelets. Nice!
The pool has adults-only hours! Mind you it's late in the evening (10pm, I think?). The rest of the day it's family swim and boy is it packed with young children. But that may be exactly an arrangement that suits you.
Overall, I like this place. Will definitely come again. If you do, stop in for dinner at the restaurant. They do a nice job with the steak.
