I was amaze that the Hotel provided Full Breakfast. not just bagels and muffins, but omelets n other delicious food.
I was in room 710 for about ten mins and ive been bitten bye bugs please check facility
restaurant food was great!!
floors in lobby of the hotel were very dirty. the room had a smell of something covering up a bad smell. not the best Embassey suite we have stayed in.
Lobby and interior are beautiful as expected. Rooms are older style but spacious and well maintained. Beds are comfortable, everything very clean. Surprisingly the in-room coffee was delicious, CBTL pods! Enjoyed the complimentart beer, wine & snacks in Courtyard in the evening. Breakfast is great, many choices including cooked to order eggs & omelets. The staff at this location was professional and friendly.
$24 nightly parking fee. Wasn't aware of this as I've never stayed in SF before. The gentleman at front desk made no mention of parking fee upon check in. Not certain how he knew I had a car to park...but I was definitely charged.
The large suite we stayed in was comfortable and lots of room to spread out. The breakfast was amazing, a fabulous variety of food. The atrium area with pond was wonderful!
Dirty dishes and laundry sat in the hallway all day. The rooms could be "updated".
Breakfast and cocktails
I didn't like they would charge me $31.00 and didn't tell me what it was for this was after taxes and taxes. Also ask for a receipt for my stay stated I would have to get it from booking? Just wanted to know how much I really spend . The said since I am going thru a third party booking will send me my receipt
Beautiful hotel. Good location. Excellent breakfast
Why internet is not complementary???? You need to pay internet. Sometimes you need to check emails or send a message. Limit the Mb but provide free Wi-Fi at least in one lobby
We walked in the room and immediately noticed a very strong moldy odor. The inside windows were wet--you could run your hand across them and wipe off water. We were trying to stay in the room but I developed a bad headache and the smell was overwhelming. We were given another room. It was better but still smelled like mold. This hotel has a serious problem.
The room was big and nicely laid out. Updated decor. Felt spacious. Breakfast included is always very convenient and the food was decent with lots of options.
The room smelled awful and the carpet and couch were damp (as if someone had tried to clean the room after a smoker had been there). It was a non-smoking room. We couldn't put our kid on the pullout couch because the smell was too strong in that part of the room. Also, it was very noisy since all the rooms open into a main multi-story foyer space. And the breakfast was super hectic and overcrowded without enough seating.
Long Long Line for hot breakfast
breakfast was great!
A woman worked at the front desk was not friendly and impatient.
I loved the location close to restaurants. It was on the San Francisco side of the bay. Zoo was 20 minutes away. Very nice hotel.
We had a pool closure so didn't get to swim
My shower would not get warm so I called the desk and they said to run the faucet in the sink that is in the bedroom. Really that is ridiculous in a expensive hotel as this one is. Than when I checked in I informed the lady that I wanted to pay cash at check out and they put on credit card anyways. They stated Booking .com charged it. When last year I booked the same way and paid cash. Not a happy camper .
The normal traditions from the Embassy chain
Needs to be seriously upgraded. For the amount that they charge, this was below standard.
Politeness of staff.
This was a frustrating stay which started with 2 members of staff visiting my room to say my card had not been charged after the front desk had told me I prepaid. Upon checking my banks online i have been charged twice. Both with international transaction fees! The free reception was like a wake! No noise allowed whatsoever. So much so we decided not to attend the second day! I doubt after this that I will book with embassy suites again
Front Desk Supervisor: AMAZING!!!!!
Rude, unprofessional parking attendants.
The staff was excellent, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was inviting. I had a wonderful time.
The quality rooms, the great courtyard for eating, and really good breakfasts that were provided.
pool, breakfast, large room
I appreciate client accommodation at this location!
woman at front desk is very nosey. I like my privacy, please respect that. She covered Her name tag with her hair, she probably didn't want to be known...like me. She wasn't checking me in, why is she looking at my information? Other than that, service was good.
1. Shuttle to Union Square on Friday/Saturday with great driver. 2. Excellent free breakfast 3. Free shuttle to airport allowed you to take BART from city to SFO and then shuttle to Embassy late at night. 4. Clean suites. 5. Lots of attentive staff. 6.
I know reviewers have criticized the carpet being worn but come on! Everything else is great and clean.
Comfortable, good sized rooms Buffet breakfast and free drinks in the evening
Car park entrance and exit was awkward
Great breakfast with wonderful omelet station. One of the best! Clean, well made hotel with friendly staff. Resturant is good. Great rooms, clean, well decorated and very large. Great location - 30 minute drive during rush hour from downtown San Fransisco
The Starbucks at the lounge closes before 6PM so there is no way to get a cup of coffee during the evening. This is a problem when working late from the Hotel and you would expect a business oriented hotel to have 24 hour availability of coffee beverages. The air conditioning at the room was set for cooling only, no heating was enabled. Guests are required to pay $22 per night for parking!
Ornamental pool and koi carp, spacious apartment, swimming pool, excellent breakfast and free drinks and food in the evening, free shuttle to and from the airport linking to the rail network.
