hard pillows, smoke alarm at 5 am, room next to me with kids screaming till 2am, not good when you have a 4 hour drive the next morning.
Breakfast was great!! Been to a few hotels this year and Embassy's beds and pillows were by far the best.

Because I frequently use Embassy when I travel and am familiar with the wonderful complimentary breakfast and evening social hour and because up until this visit have always received the utmost in customer service i.e. (Ray the front desk clerk when we checked in and Jeff your concierge were true examples of going the extra step in ensuring the satisfaction of their customers).
What I did not like was the broken toilet roll holder which would not stay attached, nor the cobwebs behind the bathroom door, nor in the ceiling crevices of the suite. All that was taken in stride and notified to Ray at the front desk who kindly and instantly offered housekeeping services to come by and clean and/or if we wanted to change rooms. Kudos, for his thinking on his feet and diffusing our frustration by offering alternatives. Because we were traveling with a group and one of us had just came off working 7/12's on a night shift these options were declined. My biggest objection arrived the next morning on 6/30 when we attempted to have the Concierge load our luggage and take us to the airport at 5:35 a.m. This had been arranged the prior evening. We were told the van ran every half hour, but were also told that we were the only ones requiring their services at that time. When we attempted to get the concierge in the morning to take us we were informed that it would not be leaving until 6 a.m. I reiterated that the gentlemen the previous evening had informed us that as long as there were no others requesting that service that we would be ran over to the airport to accommodate our needs. Of which I did explain to your front desk clerk (female-name not provided, no name tag visible) who instead of providing if there were any other requests for concierge service said yes that the guy could not leave before then. I explained that our required check in time was at 6:07 a.m. They informed me basically that it was not their problem and continued to ignore us. I then inquired if they could get us a taxi that could get us there in time and was told that they could call me one, but it would be at my expense even though this free courtesy shuttle was one of the reasons we chose the Embassy and that it would take them probably 15 minutes to get there and another seven minutes to get to the airport.

I liked the managers special and buffet breakfast. Was there for my birthday and had a wonderful time at hotel bar. Bartender was wonderful!!

The staff was rude. Room was dirty. Location was not marked on one-way street that was difficult to get to... we missed the entrance several times and it took roughly 10 minutes to get back to the entrance.
