location and meal
everything was GREAT !!!!!!!
Complimentary happy hour and breakfast, indoor pool, location.
Nothing too bad, but the whole place needs a new coat of paint and a thorough cleaning.
The hotel is beautiful, we had a great balance price/quality !
The "FREE" Wifi is finally only in the Lounge, you have to pay if you want to have a wifi in your room
As a repeat customer I was made to feel very welcome and that my business was valued. Excellent attentive staff, nice spacious rooms, great location for business and sightseeing.
Some rooms look a bit tired and dated but everything is very clean.
The facility, including the room comfort and amenities, not to mention the impressive breakfast buffet and the later afternoon reception, was A+, the pool and gym were decent, and the staff was congenial, helpful, and professional. Perfect headquarters for a weekend of play-going, sight-seeing, etc.
No negatives. I would highly recommend it.
The best place to stay for the money. I have been here with my grandchildren and again with a friend. The breakfast is outstanding and the server for the managers reception is always friendly and kind. The rooms are spacious and well decorated and laid out.
The parking fee is higher than other hotels in the area but happy to have a secure place to park for our stay. I would like free in room wifi.
This hotel is value for money with a central location. Staff are very helpful and the breakfast is awesome!
No free wifi
Everything specially Free buffet Breakfast,,,,,,,,,,Exellent
We had a blast and always pick embassy suites first!
Having a koi pond where little ones are invited to feed the fish delighted my 2 and a half year old grand daughter. She thought she had found Nemo!
Having to pay for wifi to use in the hotel room, and then finding it to be very slow or freeze.
Offered so much more than any other hotel we have stayed at. Conmplimentary happy hour, generous breakfast, retro internal garden scape, laundry, wifi, shop.
Excellent service and facilities Loved the complimentary happy hour, also breakfast was great! Got a personalized omelet! Very clean, comfortable and spacious rooms perfect for working and resting. Walking distance to dupont circle.
Location, room accommodations, value, breakfast
poor wifi. could not get reception in the bedroom. no light in the coffee making area.
The shower head had very poor pressure. Even after adjustment, Still low pressure.
pressure of warm water on 8th floor; showering took much longer than usually budgeted because water flows to a trickle
Friendly staff Free Breakfast Nice Reception in the pm Clean Close to transportation
Great location for sightseeing and shops, good restaurants within walking distance. Quiet location so good for sleeping after a hard days walking.
Breakfast is OK if you go early enough, latecomers make do with what's left. Coffee maker in room was quite useless and maid forgot to supply cups on a regular basis. We took mugs up from breakfast to keep in the room.
the suite is huge, beds are very comfortable. excellent breakfast.
the water pressure in the shower could be better.
Happy hour, location, breakfast
Room wasn't totally clean, breakfast was set up a bit disorganized, elevators were slow
Not the usual lame breakfast offered
Happy with my experience
Great location close to restaurants, bars and other activies. Complimentary Breakfast and cocktail hour was great!!! Bar tender at cocktail hour was amazing!!! I would definitely go again!
Parking fee was way too expensive at $45 a day!! That is a bit ridiculous to say at the least!!!
I liked having two rooms so that one of us could get up earlier and read. The complimentary breakfast was good.
There was an area outside of bedroom door that was always damp. Thought at first it must have been something in the bathroom but didn't make sense. Discussing it with front desk, we figured it must have been refrigerator in the next room that was also next to bathroom. Don't know if that turned out to be the problem Also had difficulty finding the hotel. GPS stopped at the round a bout but because of one way streets around the area, it was difficult to get to. I would have liked better directions. Was in Washington in June also. Hotel we stayed at then was much easier to get to.
good location the patio-style the little snacks in the evening
rooms could do with a makeover! no plain yoghurt at breakfast only the sugary stuff, horrible bread almost 15$ a day for wifi...you must be joking!
My kids really liked the large lobby with live fish in the water display.
The "kitchen" consisted of a sink placed between the living area and the bedroom and a closet which contained a mini-fridge and a microwave. There was not even a freezer. The breakfast buffet was crowded and confusing. There were not enough workers and there were lots of dirty tables, dirty dishes, etc. to view every morning. It was akin to being in a badly run college cafeteria. We ordered soup from room service and it was served in a plastic, hospital-style cup. It was not appetizing.
