The room can use an extreme renovation. The vanity room brought hesitation to even use. The drains in the shower and sink were clogged, the tile was falling off the wall, the drainage in the tub was rusted and the faucet was constantly dripping. The room was very limited. There was no desk or phone. The mattress was still in the plastic it came in, the flooring was filthy and the ceiling was peeling off. Room 213
The staff were very helpful and the location was within walking distance to French Quarters and the Louis Armstrong Park.

Very friendly staff, rooms are small but cheap, nice balcony for relaxing.

Can't expect luxury for this price
Being near Louis Armstrong Park Seeing a random parade of locals dancing down the street Good value basic accomodation
May 11, 2015
The bed wasn't very comfortable and wifi was intermittent
Proximity to French quarters

No place to hang clothes! Bathroom needs help desperately! Shower at your own risk...water changes from warm to cold without warning! Be sure to bring your own shampoo & conditioner!
Staff was VERY friendly and helpful! Morning coffee for my husband was appreciated! Enjoyed sitting on the balcony.

The hotel needs to be renovated. It was so run down I refused to shower. The bed sheet had cigarette burns. The blinds for the window was held together by a paperclip. The walls needed painting. The rug in the room was filthy and the floor needed sweeping. I was completey disgusted.
The location was about a half mile from the French Quaters and the staff was polite.

For US$193 a night plus tax, during Jazzfest, I would have expected minimum amenities, which I did not even get. No closet, no cabinet, no table, nowhere to hang or keep clothes. The whole room and bathroom need refurbishing.
Close to the French Quarter Helpful staff Relatively quiet at night Efficient aircon

Room , it was in disrepair
New bed, TV and wifi
May 5, 2015
Mattress covered in plastic, under the sheets. Location was a little outside of comfort/tourist range- . Small room with tile floor, felt somewhat prison-like. Small bathroom and sink. Seemed clean but still didn't feel that showering there was the best decision.
Cheapest option during JazzFest weekend within walking distance of the French Quarter. Kind and helpful staff. Felt safe.

The room was in dis-repair., they charge extra for more towels, and you have to pay for ice, also, the air conditioner is really noisy
Wi fi, the TV (new since last time), and bed, there was a new bed.

Room needed some decoration and maintenance.
April 28, 2015
The bathroom had a hole in the floor. And was very thrown together.
Glad they had a parking area. Pretty quiet. Easy to get too along with being close to French Quarter

No Almiah in room
Staff extremely cooperative and professional in work

No place to set suitcases or anything else. No towel rack in the bathroom. The tub looked so bad we decided sponge baths were safer than getting into the tub. A piece of carpet cut from a larger section under one side of the bed.

Obviously, this isn't a 5 star hotel. For us, this was just a place to sleep and store our things. WiFi didn't always work, but we just went to the Treme coffeehouse around the corner for WiFi. I find it difficult to complain considering the price we paid.
Great location! Right next to the french quarter. Easy to walk into the centre from there. I also really liked the Treme neighbourhood. The staff were so nice and helpful. I also liked the balcony. We met some real fun characters there! :)

It was very trashy. Our toilet didn't work, so they gave us a bucket to use. They overcharged us and wouldn't give us a refund. The location was in a bad part of town, and the people that were staying there/the staff showed it.

I had spiders in my first room.Walls are thin, you can hear conversation from another room.

Bed cover smells.
Staff is very cooperative and agreeable.

You do get what you pay for. It's a cheap hotel but if all you care about is a clean, cool, decent sized room to sleep in it's fine. If you want five star quality this is not the place.
We loved the location, nice neighborhood and distance to the Quarter was perfect. It's clean but a bit rundown which we figured given the price. Overall (except for the mattress cover) it was a comfortable place to sleep.
March 24, 2015
There were no closets or anywhere to hang clothes,
It was quiet and the staff were really nice. The bed was satisfactory.
March 23, 2015
The temperature of the shower water rapidly changed from hot to cold the entire stay.

We saw two ladies by the hour next to the hotel and it was all clear. You can imagine the scene from a horror movie in a hotel - this is a place. The bathroom looked like someone was killed in it. We did not even take a shower or used a toilet because it was disguisting!!! We also did not walk barefoot, because the half of the carpet that was in a room has never been cleaned before. Seriously the worst hotel we have been to ( and we travel a lot) Is not worth $88 including taxes that you have to pay! DO NOT STAY here unless you do not mind that your room was rented per hour by people of different professions and orientations!
March 17, 2015
It's really just a place to keep your stuff and park your car if you're going to party on Bourbon. If you aren't planning on spending much time in your hotel, save some money and stay here. But it's not clean or comfortable or nice by any means. The smell of ammonia was overwhelming, the beds were covered in plastic, and there is no soap in the bathrooms.
The location is great, and you get a parking spot which is hard to come by for this area. Walking distance to French Quarter. We got what we needed and what we paid for and literally nothing else. They have a nice balcony to sit on and drink coffee.
March 16, 2015
Other than hot coffee, no breakfast is served
The staff is very friendly and attentive

The condition of the room, very poorly repaired fixtures or outdated.
It's convenient access to the French Quarter.
