Very pleasant staff. Good food. Felt very secure and safe in hotel. On the weekend most outside Eating places closed so we had to take metro or cab.

Helpful staff, excellent, uncrowded restaurant and close to the Smithsonian. A little hard to find for an out-of-towner driving in by GPS. We were in close proximity when we went into a tunnel and lost satellite reception. Better signage would help.

The room service and the food were excellent. The woman in charge of the food preparation was delightful. I contacted her on my first evening at the hotel to tell her that I enjoyed a wonderful salad with tuna -- and then had the same salad the following two evenings (though I had the checken instead of the tuna). On the third evening that I was at the hotel, I ate in the lobby with a colleague. She raved about the salad, too. I'll be back again!

The Metro was so close, and the underground mall was a treat. We stopped every day on our way out for a different quick breakfast treat. It was also close to the museums too. Could have used a hot tub, that would have been nice. Also, you should publicize the wharf area near the hotel. We had great Chinese food and seafood there.

Location is perfect for the National Mall area and surrounding area. Loved the giant pool - was super warm and cozy for hours of swimming well into the evening.room was spacious and beds were incredibly comfortable. Directly above the metro line (does take a lot of walking to get to it, however) Really need a frig of some sort....elevators ran funky (went all the way down before going up and vice versa). African American woman who worked front desk for night shift April 5 around 11pm is in the wrong business...she was very rude when we checked in, acted like we were an inconvenience to her, never said a nice word like hello, welcome, thank you, please, I'm sorry, have a good night. Nothing. She treated us like we were cows to slaughter - Next!!! Everyone else, however, was exceptionally friendly.

Its convenient location and the size of the room. It is good to have a gym and swimming pool. Customer service is good, staff are very friendly and customer oriented. During our first day of stay, some workers used the extra powerful spray cleaner to clean the pool floor in the morning before 9:00. It was so loud and noisy that none of us could go back to sleep after a long day of driving. It was so annoying that we decided to leave the room earlier than we planned. If the work was necessary, I would apprecaite the hotel to inform the affected customers the day before.

Loved the location. It's right in the middle of everything we wanted to see and do. It's dowdy, scruffy, and needs updating badly.

- Appreciateed the 12:00 check out - Staff was VERY accomodating !! - The toilet was finicky about running. Had to jiggle the handle virtually every time it was used. - I travel frequently and see a lot of wi-fi at no cost. Didn't appreciate that being an added cost.

The location which is in walking distance to most of the historical sites. Underground trains and transportation availability. The overall friendliness of the hotel staff. The rooms need major up dates. Please put real coffee makers in the rooms. Bathrooms and tile floors needs up dating. My room was facing a major highway and it was very noisey which made it very difficult to sleep.

The concierge was fantastic, rooms were adequately big and tidy. Early morning maid service, need to remember to put up a Do Not Disturb sign before going to bed. Valet staff never answered the phone and were hardly at their desk.

Big king bed. We had a view overlooking the pool, but it was January. Would have preferred a room with a city view, but for the price, we loved it.
