Close to National Mall and musea The room was noisy (traffic), there was construction on the roof (of which I wasn't notified) that woke me up at 7am, and there was a decaying piece of apple pie in the fridge that wasn't removed despite the fact that I asked it several times during my four day stay. Certainly, this hotel is not worth the money that is asked, I wouldn't recommend it. |

Staff friendly and helpful. Furniture and bathroom although clean were looking a little shabby i.e. grout in tiling needed renewing and furniture was badly marked along carpet edge. |

The hotel is very nice and very convenient to all the sites in Washington DC. It is also reasonably priced. There was construction on going, but we were prepared for that. It did not interfere too much with our stay and it seems close to being completed. The hotel staff could have been a bit friendlier. They were not overtly rude, but they were not very pleasant either. |

It was close to town and we were able to walk to the sights. The concierge was very helpful. A staff member was difficult in the bar and was very slow to bring the account when asked. |

Valet parking was friendly, quick, and well priced ($30) compared to other options in close proximity to the Smithsonian Mall. Room wasn't overly large, but was very clean and the bedding was quite comfortable. Kids loved the pool. The shopping promenade under the hotel, including restaurants, closed ~5pm on Friday and wasn't open at all on Saturday morning. Would have helped to know this in advance. |
