We liked the spaciousness of the complex. Also all the features available more in the warmer seasons. We thought the pool area was fantastic.
All the stairs but understand that any hillside property has them.
The location had very nice views. Not far from things to do.
Not enough going on in Rio Rico
Room and hallway could have been cleaner
NO CENTRAL HEAT. lighting in hallway are a bit scary dark. stairs everywhere that dont make sense. Over priced, NOT the 4 stars they claim to be. pictures on the web False advertising.
The staff was very helpful, very clean rooms , the place has character, very cozy and close to places of need, stores, restaurants, ect...nice stay
The beds are a little out dated and a little worn out.
very cute, needs a little updating, but the rooms, bed were comfortable. The room was clean which is very important. If I'm in the area again, I will stay here again.
Was just a little shabby and worn looking, not horrible just a good touch up
We stayed three nights. They were friendly and helpful when we checked in. Had one meal there. It was good and priced reasonably. Our room had a balcony, which we used & enjoyed.
Very nice location ,just love the hotel ambience.
The tree in front of our balcony ,obstruct the view
proximity to our outings in Patagonia, Tubac, Elgin & Sonoita
lied 2 at check in. 3 floor buildings & no elevator. we are seniors and stairs not an option. told very heavily booked no chance to move to 1st floor. next morning/ 3 cars in our parking lot. we hiked up 2 flights of stairs. place is old dirty and needs major upgrade + $66 a night max value & other agents wanted $89 a night. NOT GD!!
lovely place, great views, very helpful staff, good food, inexpensive, nice pool and hot tub
wifi was problematic
The grounds are bbeautiful even though they are worn. The rooms are a great size and clean.
Our bathroom sink would not drain. We called the front desk and they said they would send someone. We left for the day and when we got back around 11:30 PM, we saw that someone had been there; however, the sink was not fixed, we now had a bucket under the sink to catch the water from the leaking pipe, and some kind of wood shavings both under the sink and tracked all over the bathroom floor. The mess was not cleaned up. Housekeeping had not come and so the bed was unmade, trash was not emptied, and we had no clean towels. Called the front desk and they brought towels. All of this would be totally unacceptable in a busy hotel, but we never saw more than 6-8 cars in the parking lot the two days we were there. We never saw another person, other than staff, anywhere, so they were obviously not overwhelmed with taking care of their guests. When we checked out, I explained everything that had happened and the desk clerk was apologetic. Perhaps offering a free breakfast in their restaurant would have been appropriate. We come to this area once a year. We are disappointed that we will now have to find somewhere else to stay in an area that offers very few choices!
The staff went out of their way to make our visit memorable. The entertainer Angel Perez is exceptionally talented.
Great room-comfortable and clean-staff was extremely helpful
Buffet was lukewarm and quite expensive!!
The staff was great and friendly
I enjoyed everything
This was our 2nd stay at the resort and it was just all around a great experience from check in to check out. The staff was wonderful as was the room and all the accommodations.
This is a resort style hotel with multiple amenities. The restaurant and bar are very good with local cuisine. I would definitely go back.
That there was rooms aviable
That the reservation was not done and the resort didn't have it
The service was so poor... Had to order twice it took 30 minutes for a drink we had to order twice....finally just left the resturant...prices fir the food was very high. ... $2 for 1 egg????
Love the grounds and the views from the rooms. We always seem to get the 2nd floor view. It's quiet and relaxing. We've enjoyed the dining room food on occasion. And the staff takes the time to greet and interact with us throughout the stay.
Having to leave.
amazingly low room rate; spacious room; pool and spa; fabulous food at great prices; very friendly and helpful staff; amazing views; also country club and restaurant for major events
would have liked window to open or sliding door to have a screen; little refrigerator was noisy; wifi was available but didn't seem to have a strong, continuous signal -- was able to use it
the ice maker was out of service the grounds showed signs of deterioration
Customer service and restaurant were exceptional.
Been here before and rooms pristine. This time grounds in need of care and room filthy. New room better but carpets still in desperate need of cleaning. Many cracks in walls and Tile sinks in need of repair and cleaning.
Enjoyed convenience of bar restaurant although service was slow. Rooms were clean.
Patio needed to be swept and free of bat guano, thIs was throughout the site. Bldg is older and not maintained .
