Water pressure of the water Beds were made daily and towels changed daily but the room was not vacuumed, washroom facility not cleaned for the duration of the stay. No windows in room can be opened so no fresh clean air. |

Fabulous stay. Enjoyed the Sunday entertainment at the Clevelander Hotel which is part of Essex Hotel. Convenient to Miami South Beaches. Highly recommend. |

Super location and a design classic in the center of South Beach. Really friendly and service minded personell. Pool and pool area was very small, you´ll have to rely on the beach if you want some quality sun and swim |

with great staff, an excellent location and stylish large rooms, he essex is a great affordable, stylish place to stay in south beach miami. highly recommended. Big bonus with staying at the essex is the use of all the facilities of the "other essex" hotel, the Clevelander, right next door. chill out at the top roof area to sun yourself or hang downstairs in the open air bar to party. the essex/clevelander is the place to go. nothing to complain about at all. |

Stayed here 2nights. Right in the center of SoBe. Parking was a bit of a hassle if you dont want to spend $20+ each day. We found it easy to just use a parking meter in front of the hotel (from 12pm to 9am is free,). Beach Towels available, a little pool (beach is like 2min walk). Facilities of mother hotel The cavalier also available for guests of essex which is a great plus! No Breakfast, a bit noisy,...you can hear every door on the same floor slaming when being closed. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. When a conjoining room complained about my room making too much noise (which was not the case) the hotel offered to switch our room to a better room (conjoining our friends who were also staying at the hotel), and give us a discount on that night's stay. Overall it was an excellent experience and I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to a friend!!! The windows in the rooms did not open and there was not enough ventilation in the bathrooms (hot steamy showers were not ventilated properly). Some ants in skin, but not a big deal at all. The pool is tiny, more like an oversized jacuzzi, but as a guest of Essex House you have privileges at the Clevelander (their sister hotel) and the pool there is excellent! Its noisy at night due to the close proximity to night clubs and local bars so do not stay here if you are looking for a quiet family retreat!! |

Right in the middle of Art Deco District, lots of shops and restaurants, Ocean Drive and Lummus Beach within close walking distance. We enjoyed stayning in the stylish Hotel and found a very friendly and helpfull staff (just ask). You get beach towels at the reception for free. You should visit The Diner in 11th Street (Brfst, Lunch, Dinner) that real America. Valet Parking $29 per Day, but there is a public parking for $22. Very small pool. For 4 people in a double queen room it was a bit small. Breakfast not available in the Hotel but we knew that before. |

Excellent customer service, the staff could not do enough for us. We were able to check in 2 hours early because both the reception staff and the cleaning staff went out of their way to make this possible. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and we didn't get the impression that this was because they were expecting a tip (as we did in other hotels we stayed in this trip). I would definitely stay here again. Very good value for money. The furnishings, carpets and furniture etc, could be refreshed but if they were the rates would go up so as it is it is very good value. |

the staff was very friendly and welcoming. the hotel was very comfortable. great location. it was my birthday and i even recieved a giftbag.... very nice! even with all the issues i had i wouldnt mind staying there again. well there was a issue with the booking. i reserved two rooms on this website and they only had me down for one room. after spending about a half hr getting everything resolved we did recieve a second room. however one of the rooms had a plumbing issue.... the shower and sink would get backed up and we would have to wait 30 min to use the shower between people. |
