We had a great time. Kids enjoyed the pool while mom and dad enjoyed the hot tub.
Just wish they had kitchenettes.
There were at least 3 vending machines not working
the value (they lowered the price for off season)
The layout, very dated furnishings, the "balcony" overlooking an indoor pool, The price
free wifi. deep swimming pool.
smelly room. like a humid basement. halls and elevator smelled like smoke and looked dirty. fire escape style stairs. paper thin walls. crying baby in the next room kept us up. staff was rude at check in. tried to force me to pay by credit card when i booked room with a cash pay option. he refused to let me pay cash. wierd. after 11 staff is completely gone. you just get a phone# to call for emergencies. no fridge. no microwave. hard to reach outlets in room. can't charge phone and computer comfortably. broken door lock on neighboring room. off hinges. tv turned off on its own repeatedly. not worth the money. only reviews I've ever done have been good. this is utter disappointment. i prefer motel 6 over this any day.
Large, clean room. Very quiet, excellent sleeping.
Hard to see tv while working at desk. Not enough snack vending machines.
Next door bar and grill. Excellent service by bartender. Great wings from the grill.
the bartender was awesome! he was super busy but made each table and client at the bar feel like they were his only client. He gave us tips on where great sites were and then asked us about it the next day when we saw him in the lobby.
the gentleman who checked us in was either in a bad mood or didn't like his job because we were not warmly welcomed and he was excited to tell us about where our room was located. He was not knowledgeable about the area either. The service for dinner in the restaurant was not good and my husband had corn with his meal and it was grey...would not recommend this as a great place to eat.
Thought it was expensive for the old hotel . needs to be updated
Pets restricted to first floor and assigned a room overlooking enclosed pool; very noisy music and yelling swimmers until 11pm Restaurant not pet friendly Pet fee excessive considering the level of cleanliness of the room rusting fixtures in the bathroom risk for falls in tub because of ineffective safety coating in the tub bears feeding from outdoor trash cans
Location Room cleanliness Appearance of the hotel
Had little bit of the hotel light coming in through the window.
Easy check-in/check-out and room cleanliness.
Mattress was too soft and may needed replacement.
Close to town, resturant had good food. Also has a bar but did not go in. Beds were comfortable and the room was a good size with a nice size bathroom. Staff was nice.
Cost was a bit much for the room. The lay out was a bit weird and an extra door to go thru. My guess it was an extra fire door? It was a last minute booking. Will look for something a little less expensive next time.
Bathroom dirty with other peoples hair. Beds had dips in middle of them. Pillows must have been bought at Walmart on a discount. The pillow were half the size of a standard pillow and the pillow cases were tucked in as the pillow itself is small. The pillows are so soft with the old foam strips it took three pillows to get get any comfort. Beds with dip probably haven't been replaced since the place opened.
We enjoyed the in door pool and the pillows were great!! The staff was wonderful as well.
Only bad thing was the music by the pool was loud at 7:00 so we didn't get to sleep much. That's ok tho.
Got a good deal on the room. WiFi was quick. Room was clean.
Wouldn't be worth that much anywhere but a resort town. Water came out brown through the pipes at the beginning.
No in-room fridge (could be had for $5 extra per day)
Description of balcony...and not that it was interior overlooking pool area. Needs some better light for reading purposes.
Front desk staff was very helpful.
I used faucet water to make coffee and I got sick.
Hotel location is good.
Beds were worn and uncomfortable. Elevator out of order and our room was on 3rd floor. Overpriced.
Location, clean. Walking distance to shops.
My room was clean and very comfortable. The bed was excellent and I slept like a log. Breakfast was very good and the price was right. The employees were pleasant and helpful. My room was quiet.
The only thing I did not like was the cloudiness of the Jacuzzi pool. The temperature was perfect.
The rooms were very clean and quiet. We were staying there because my grandson was at a camp with his school and picked it because it was the closest- up hwy 7. We were happily surprised and would definitely choose to stay there again. Really enjoyed looking at the pool from the balcony and swimming.
The only negative -and even that was not a big deal- was the receptionist at the front desk answering phones. In person, very friendly staff and helpful.
Loved that the inn had a restaurant attached to it! The pool area was large and just like the pictures. The location to town was great, though you did have to drive vs. walk. Overall for the location it was a wonderful experience.
It did feel a little on the older side. We wanted the smaller feel of the inn but if you are looking for a "fancy hotel" this isn't it. Desk gives you a map of the layout but it is still easy to get lost in the halls!
