No parking on site and all lots were full- crazy to be in the middle of nowhere and not be able to find parking!
Very convenient to all of downtown. The spa is outstanding also!
The building was beautiful and the location perfect. Staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was clean. I loved the historical plaques and information throughout.
I didn't like that the sink was in the room and the only mirror was so high I couldn't see in it.
The ease of being close to everything and the van to take us to all the places we wanted to go.
Room a little to small
Down town location
Early morning street noise
Check out was easy
If it had more updating it would have been better. Wi fi was not good at all! We were on second floor and no idea what was above us but someone was walking most of the night and early morning so the ceiling creaked really bad!! Courtesy van needs cleaning!
Great Old Hotel with modern conviencies. Fun place to stay.
Call ahead to arrange check-in, you cannot unload or park on the street. Parking is in auxillary parking lot.
I liked the fact that the hotel was located downtown, walking distance to all the shops.
The room was small, which cannot be helped, as the building is old; however a dresser with more surface space would have been preferable to the very large armoire that housed only a coffee maker. There were no chairs in the room and no tables or benches for suitcases. We had to keep everything on the floor. And when I called the front desk for a packet of decaf coffee in the evening, I was told the hotel didn't stock any!
The location is excellent. The hotel is right in the middle of everything downtown. The atmosphere is like taking a step into the past, but the hotel still has all the modern conveniences.
Old hotel with very squeaky floors.Odd setup for arrival. Parking 1/2 mile away. They shuttled us around.Caught a bad week. Lots of partying late at night.
We love being in the heart of shopping. Walking around all the action and enjoyed the beautiful view.
The Spa is wonderful, the location could not be better. The vintage charm will win you over.
Wi-fi could be better.
Traffic congestion. Small room with no table and chair. Old and obsolete sink in room.
Location, Shuttle service and the friendliness of the drivers, ambiance, suggestions on restaurants and where to hear live music
.....off location parking, but it wasn't a problem after all.
If you want to be in the center of town, this hotel is the perfect location.
The room above had exceptionally creaky floors. The creaking made it difficult to sleep.
Van shuttle was very helpful on trips around town. Nice to know if we had walked to far we could always get ride back to hotel. Gentleman at check in was quick to respond to problem with parking car.
parking....not allowed to park car in around hotel and unload car...not allowed to check in until car parked in parking lot...had to unload bags in parking lot then into hotel from van shuttle.
We loved the location of the hotel. It's a beautiful old place and has been nicely restored without losing it's charm.
A grand historic building right in the heart of things.
Very charming place. Will stay there again.
Almost everything. Parking, elevator, room size, restaurant food, especially the obviously watered ddown drinks
Location was great - in the middle of shopping area. Nice staff. Comfortable bed.
While I like old hotels, this one is over due for a remodel that respects the history. A little too funky. Furnishings were mismatched and cheap.
Staff was friendly and courteous.
Very poor elevator service.
I booked this hotel for the location. I like the fact it was hotel with history. The continental breakfast was very good. I did ask to be moved to a different room in which the air conditioning worked and the staff was very accommodating. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable about the hotel and Eureka Springs.
I didn't like that the air conditioning did not work on a hot day in August and the ceiling fan was out of balance and made a knocking sound. I did not like the fact that there was not window treatment just blinds. During checkout we were questioned about a money transaction that took place in the billiard room the night before, I gave the clerk our room number and played for free. We purchase 2 beverages paid with a twenty and received the correct changed. Why were we question as if we received more change than intended? We are honest people and would have brought this type of error to the clerks attention.
