Location was great - in the middle of shopping area. Nice staff. Comfortable bed.
While I like old hotels, this one is over due for a remodel that respects the history. A little too funky. Furnishings were mismatched and cheap.
Staff was friendly and courteous.
Very poor elevator service.
Top floor was nice.
The bed was a little hard. The food was slow. Sauna too small.
very atmospheric, historical
some aspects showing their age...
Loved the historic ambiance with a new modern shower/toilet.
The sink was ancient and in the main room, not with the shower/toilet. I understand space is at a minimum but it could still be new. The hot/cold fixtures were separate so "warm" was not an option and the sink was rusty! Only a little shelf above the sink to put things out - had to use my bed as a dresser!
The rooms were unique. the views were neat to see the hisoric value. the staff were very curteous. The location was excellent.
Just a bit pricey.
The character n location and balcony
The location was wonderful. The shower was excellent. The beds were extremely comfortable. The A/C worked well. The shuttle to the parking lot was convenient.
The hotel itself is showing its age. Locking and unlocking the room door was a challenge and didn't work well. The front desk staff could be a little friendlier. The restaurant refused us food 20 minutes before we were told they would close. That was infuriating as we hadn't eaten since the night before.
friendliness, convenience to the rest of the center of town, history & architectural preservation
restaurant closes at 9:00 pm
Wonderful location in downtown - walking distance to most everything. The staff are friendly and helpful. Beautiful building with an old world feel. I enjoyed my stay there.
Really, the only thing was the WIFI access - I could never connect from my room. I had to go to the lobby or the bar to get a connection.
The location of the hotel to the local shops. The food, the free pool tables.
The parking lot being at the bottom of the hill. Ha Ha, had to put something down.
I loved the fact that it was centrally located and had very nice shuttle staff that took you to the parking lot.
I did not like to arrive and have only one of two rooms that I booked through this site. The called around and found another quite a walk down the street and very expensive too. They gave us no notice that they did not reserve our second room.
the size of my suite. the price.
Bar and balcony eating was cool.
Beds to high. Bathroom was small. A bit loud thanks to another guest. No pool. Parking.
Basin Park Hotel was centrally located in the middle of historic Eureka Springs. It is a nostalgic building with a lot of history to it. Adjacent to Basin Springs, a nice small park area, and a beautiful view. You walk out the door and begin touring historic downtown.
The rooms were tiny, not updated very much, with a very crowded bathroom space. The sink is located outside of the bathroom and the old building allows creaking floors and voices to easily enter the room. Parking is free, but several blocks away from the hotel. (shuttle is provided). Basically a great place to visit while in Eureka Springs, but not necessarily to stay the night.
Being in the middle of everything was great. Enjoyed breakfast on the balcony
It's a little overpriced. Rooms were clean but the rest of facility was dirty. I saw the same tortilla chip on the stairs all weekend. Food was not good.
The location was great and noise level was low. Beds were comfortable. Shower was great! The shuttle to the parking lot worked out great.
Perhaps the option of at least a continental breakfast would be good. On weekends you can get a full breakfast but weekdays there is nothing offered.
Charming place in the middle of town
Not worth the cost
No parking..nickel and dime you
The best feature was its location and the free shuttle service. The beds were comfy.
The room! Tiny, cramped, TV was broken, very poor lighting, filthy windows, noisy window AC, sink was very old dbl faucet in the room...no privacy from companions. No space to lay out suitcases. Tried to upgrade, none available.
Love this hotel. I have stayed there many times and enjoyed every minute. I have eaten on the balcony several times, love the food and enjoy listening to the live music. I'm sure I will visit again!!!!
The hotel has the best possible location town, and with the shuttle service we never had to drive anywhere. My wife and I enjoyed several relaxing evenings having desert at the Balcony.
We were on the 5th floor directly beneath the "Barefoot Ballroom" and billiards bar. We got to enjoy loud stomping and yelling well past 3:00 am every night. The floor of the room slants back towards the door at a significant angle of at least 20 degrees!
The hotel was in a great location and the room was more spacious then I expected.
Parking was horrible. We were on motorcycles and could not park them conveniently. Had to haul luggage a long distance.
