The hotel was beautiful and very interesting, we went on the ghost tour and it was great! VERY friendly and helpful staff.
We got a double room, it was a little shabby but the hotel is old and it wasn't too surprising that it looked old and a bit rough. Ended up being $200 for the cheapest room, seemed high to us.
the entire experience was good, we enjoyed the ambience..
The staff were very nice and helpful
The temp of the water fluctuated between hot and cold.
The beautiful surroundings.
We had a group of four and only two vouchers, were given for breakfast and brunch. The booking said breakfast included
We liked the history and how well the hotel has been keeped true to it's history. The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times including the maids. The food in the hotel restaurant was fantastic and we loved ever mouth full.
The water temperature fluctuated from hot and cold in the shower to much for us.
The front desk staff and Bellman were extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel has such an incredible history. We all had a great time.
I can't think of anything.
The beds was so comfortable and the staff was awesome
We had to get an air mattress for my mother and it went flat by the end of the night. Not so comfortable for her. But the front desk manager was great and took care of us in the morning for the trouble.
The history. Breakfast was good! Shuttle downtown. Sky bar pizza was terrific! The spa had luxury lotions and cosmetics for sale. The bathroom in our room was very clean and white. It had that chemical clean smell I LOVE!
The bed sunk in too far. Very uncomfortable. The sky bar staff was friendly but not very quick. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks. The ghost tours are too expensive. $50 for a couple to walk around the hotel and hear a story is too much!
Eureka Springs is beautiful in the fall and the hotel is placed perfectly on the ridge of an Ozark Mountain that provides beautiful views. Centrally located, it is easy to get anywhere from the Crescent. The quality of the food in the hotel dining room was high and some of the guest activities like wine tasting add a special experience to the visit.
The facilities are very old and it is possible to hear folks in the hallways at night trying to find ghosts. To be fair, we were there the week of Halloween, so perhaps it isn't always that way. The Crescent is a very expensive place to stay for the accomodations.
The place is amazing, whether you believe in the spooky stuff or not, the history is abundant and the hotel is gorgeous. Don't expect a brand new hotel, this is Victorian and historical. The balcony view from the back is just breathtaking, the rooms are pretty, and the staff is great. Eureka springs can be hard to navigate, but the shuttle service took us wherever we needed to go.
The food. The breakfast was pretty blah, so we decided to use our 2nd days breakfast voucher for the steakhouse... (Good for $20 towards the crescent hotels steakhouse) Big mistake, the dinners are waaaayyy over- priced. (Steak dinner is between $35-$80 each) My lobster bisque tasted like cheap fish that was left out too long, the chicken was dry and flavorless, and the shrimp was literally slimey. At the recommendation of the hotel staff, we also had dinner at a little Italian place name Ermillio's down the street, awesome service and pretty decent prices... Probably the best lasagna on the face of the planet!
I have visited the Crescent on several occasions. This was the first time I stayed and it was just as I had expected. Thanks for a trip back in time.
Nothing to say.
Sense of history and authentic furnishings; Amazing scenery; The Sky Bar with its cozy atmosphere and great pizza
Water that couldn't be regulated for a comfortable shower; Loud talking by the ghost tour leader in the hallway rather late at night
Beautiful grounds. Shuttle service was excellent.
Took us awhile to find the hotel. Wish the ghost tour was cheaper.
Located away from all main roads so hotel is nice and quiet. Hotel grounds are very nice.
Stayed here a lot over the years but it seems like the old girl is not quite as charming as she used to be. A little too pricey for our taste.
The bellboys came quickly to help with all requests.
Room 403 was billed as a deluxe room. It was not. Plaster falling, spackled and unrepaired ceiling and wall trim. Weak air conditioner.
carpets were stained, making them look filthy. The bed made so much noise when you turned over it woke the other person. We had what could have been an exquisite room with a fantastic view. I would have left when I saw the room but would have had to pay for the room anyway. Did not feel safe here.
loved the hotel and the staff were wonderful.
for two hundred ninety two dollars a night, the shower should have worked.
Carpet had not been vacuumed. Dirty Qtips under the bed. Room so small you could barely turn around in it. Very, very, very over priced.
need more lights in the room-such as a reading light by each bed
Loved the hotel. The staff could not have been more friendly & helpful. The food was excellent. It's history is amazing. The facilities reflect that it has been a labor of love, by many, for 128 years.
The history of the hotel
Our room was quite small.
I like the ghost tour, and the staff was great
I couldn't spend more time there..
Location and history
Lack of care taken with hotel, not very clean in hallways
The ghost tour and breakfast. The atmosphere was great, creaking floors etc.
We didn't like the bed. It was too high and hard to get in an out of as we are almost 70.
Sitting on the back porch enjoying the view. Listening to the player piano
Waited along time to get into room. It was ready but no one called Housekeeping to find out. I asked the maids if our room was ready and it had been for quite awhile so I let the front desk know.
