Score from 395 reviews Very good
The attention was great
Straight, basic standards, room ok, sanitary facilities reasonable. Has even TV and sink in room. The location is really in the middle of SFO, great!
Wifi is available but pretty slow.
Staff was very nice and helpful! They left a pack of heart candy on my bed when I checked in, it was such a nice touch! Private rooms with a tv and window, sink in room. It seemed like they clean the hallways and the bathrooms often. I would stay here again if I come back
Flies in the bathroom, red stains on sheets, although it did seem Like the sheets had been washed so I don't know what that was about... The bed sheet on the mattress wasn't fitted, and I was sharing the bed so the sheet would slip around when I slept which exposed the mattress. the vacuuming was very loud in the morning
Room was clean. Towels was new. Wash basing and refregerator in the room.
Shared bathroom was small and dirty. Extremly squeaky bed. The guy on reseption was in hysterics. becasue I pressed ring button for a long time when come. Homeless of SF like to spend nights at the street where this hotel is located.
Didn't feel comfortable at all.
Close to the Moscone centre Cheap
Very bad smell (might be bed-bug spray or some drugs- No idea what it is), No microwave oven, No drinking water,
The outside of the building might not be the fanciest, but I had no problem walking to and from the hostel at night, as late as 10pm. The owner of the hotel is super friendly and he made me feel welcomed. Also the bed was clean, the shared bathrooms were clean, shower was maybe a bit small but not bad. Honestly I think for 2 people it was the same price as a hostel (usually $35/night) but with more privacy and *cleaner* beds. Also it's located super conveniently to all the cool places.
It looks dingy, like it doesn't look fancy at all inside. But it's what you get for the price. I was expecting it to be humble looking so I wasn't complaining. The wifi signal was at times patchy in my room.
Awesome host who called us by name as we came in and he took care of all our needs and answered our questions.
Parking in that area is next to impossible. It would be a good idea to secure a spot early and you need an interpreter to read the parking regulation signs.
Rude staff, bad location ( homeless people), room was right next to the boiler room, could not sleep, they are renovating the place, found out about it when we got there, lots of noise, they shut off water for whole day and no apology either, room door could not close at first, then had a problem opening it, when we were out we were scared that someone might've broken in. Owner is very rude. Stiff bed, whole place smells.
Carlos (the owner) was the highlight of our stay here. Extremely helpful, warm and professional he added value to our trip. Location was very convenient, amazing Vietnamese restaurant nearby.
Although the location is very convenient the area looks rough. We didn't have any problems but the vibe was not pleasant. The facilities of the hostel were basic and did not look very nice inside, however we got a private room for the same price as paying for a bed in a dorm elsewhere and this was important to us.
The excelent staff!!!
The room smelled a little smoke
The bed was nice and firm, staff was very friendly, much work has been done in the several months since my last stay here.
The room was hotter than Hades, probably more than 90 degrees Farenheight/32 degress Celsius!!! The people just below the room on the sidewalk below from the strip clubs, and the 24-hour traffic noise, was far too much. I might have got 3 hours of restless sleep at the most. Unless I can get a room away from the street side of the building I'll be staying elsewhere in the future.
For San Francisco, the price was reasonable. The desk clerk was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
The metal bunk bed creaked like crazy any time either of us moved. The sheets weren't wrapped around the mattresses. The room lacked a chair. 6th Street is like a movie set of Skid Row.
good only if you are travelling alone or with friends. although the bathrooms are shared, they are kept pretty clean. the owner likes to talk a lot, and is quite helpful in meeting some special requests. he would also guide you around if you ask him.
at least the facilities promised should be good. the bathrooms had no place to keep things like your clothes, soap or spects. the wifi was not quite fast. similarly, the rooms had little space to keep your stuff. although non-smoking, the corridors had a pungent odour. the TV had only a handful of working channels. and when you approach the owner with some issue, he starts to rant about other people.
Can't say I liked anything aside from having privacy of my own room.
- friendly staff
- dirty and smells (rooms) - windows were broken (in one room, very unsafe), - window could not be opened (other room) - very dirty toilet facilities
It is super dirty. My room had clean bed sheets and that's about it. All the rest was sticky with dirt. It is not enough to change the sheets What about a plastic cup with rest of a soap in it in between the sink and the wall after a previous guest. Sticky door, doorknob. A window with a piece of wood to keep it open. Super dirty showers and restrooms. I left the place being chased by a bunch of bedbugs.
The hotel needs refurbishing, the bathroom floor was very dirty... the whole place just looks shabbily. Although the location is not bad, it is not a safe district, they broke into our car during the night.... It is not worth saving the money!
vicino al centro congressi e union square (3 min a piedi) Near the moscone center and union square (3 mins by foot)
sporcizia, docce orride (anche se vengono lavate), camera con moquette lurida. struttura fatiscente. Camminare dopo le 9 di sera sulla sesta strada è pericoloso. dirty, horrible showers, very dirty moquette. Old and decadent building. It's dangerous to walk on the 6th streeet after 9 pm.
Just the location
bed room washrooms were so dirty that I was literally getting scared while getting in. There was no lock or may be it was loose (Washroom doors) and anybody can get enter while u r inside. The whole building has some stinking smell. No body came to clean my room, no soap, no hangers...... etc
