The worst ever
Very central location. Surrounded by great restaurants. Within walking distance to most attractions. Comfortable bed. Currently having new carpet installed.
Noisy but not a problem with ear plugs. Small toilet and shower facilities but clean. Phone in hallway. Hotel is over a strip joint so it can be noisy in the early hours and close to busy intersection.
The location was very close to landmarks and places of interest and just a twenty min walk to pier 39. The bathrooms were pretty clean and the room has a mini fridge, was was awesome. The bed seemed clean but we didn't want to risk laying in bed bugs so we brought a matress barrier and used out own pillow and blankets. We did get towels which was good.
It is directly on top of a strip club!! So don't think you'll get a good night's sleep here because the music goes into the night (or what felt to us like all night). Unless you knock a couple drinks back before bed to numb you a bit, you won't sleep at all. The wi-fi is terrible!! Better off just using your phone's data. The staff should be a bit more nice. To me it's all about customer service, and it's this place is lacking it, except for Juan! He was awesome!!! Last thing, it is not ada regulated!! No elevator but like 30 steps!! Price was mediocre for what we received.
Dirty, noisy, disgusting.
Had mice in our room got woken up by them going through our things got changed room and then had bugs in there got changed again then had mice again. Contacted environmental health also. Staff really rude wouldn't change us hostel or give any of our money back told us was tough.
Location was excellent
It's quite a shabby place, kind of creepy. Shared bathroom wasn't very dirty but very old. Bugs in the room!! Wouldn't recommend it.
Dirty bed sheets, smelled like smoke.
Location is good.
public bathroom, poor wifi, not comfort at all
Good location and staff is nice. Room was very clean.
Outside of the room was kind of dirty and also room was very small.
Great location close to everything, not a 5 star hotel but its some where to sleep and shower, ppl if you go to sf your obviously not gonna be in your room all day...ohh lots of great restaurants, and China town just down the blk.
Really can't think of anything bad, I've read don't be out so late not a great place to be out with kids ..bla blah bla, it was okay not a big deal.
Nothing. I think Booking.com should stop doing business with this hotel.
We found cockroaches in our room and felt entitled to a refund as we paid $476 for 3 nights. There was no hotel manager present therefore we took our complaint to the public health department of San Francisco. The worst place I have ever been, in any country that I have travelled to. They should be shut down.
Location Personal bathroom Free wifi Get what you pay for
SF prices Doors a little broken Hallways dirty
Heart of the city Walking distance to most interesting sites Surprisingly quiet
Complimentary coffee and juice were off-tasting
Dirty! The rooms and the bathrooms aswell. Everything was dirty. The sheets, the floor, the sink. Couldn't believe this room. We're glad with didn't get bid by bed bugs. Never again! We payed 140 for one night\one room with two queensize beds. For the room we got the highest I would pay would be 30 bucks.
Big tv not used, fast check-in but the guy wasn't Nice.
Noise, bad hygiene.
WIFI and the location of the hotel were nice.
Very small and warm rooms; two clogged toilets in the shared bathroom (and after telling this to the staff, the toilets were not fixed the day after...).
Leaving. And only leaving. Being able to shut the door on the way out knowing I never had to go back was invigorating!
Everything. The staff were rude, unhelpful and clearly didn't care about their guests. They tried to charge me more than I'd booked it for and argued with me about the price. It was possibly being 'updated' as there was a rank smell of paint all around the place where layers and layers of white paint were slapped on trying to hide the 70's brown. The door to our room had obviously been kicked open a number of times and therefore didn't close properly. The key didn't work, and after two times downstairs at reception, finally pushed the door open. The room was horrendously dirty and dingy. No curtain at all and the tv didn't work. The shower didn't have any hot water and nowhere to put anything or even a mirror. There was no bathmat and the floor had hair on it that was not mine. A 'maintence' man came and changed a light switch in the bathroom which resulted in the light no longer working. The only resolve was we were given a lamp to use, which didn't work in the bathroom as the voltages are different (plus there was nowhere to put it anyway!). We wouldn't have continued stayed here if it wasn't pride week and all the accomodation sold out or waaaay out of our price range at such last minute. We survived the ordeal, only just, as neither of us had a decent shower or sleep for 5 nights. Definitely the worst "hotel" is ever stayed in. Even with a full renovation, of the hotel and staff attitude, I wouldn't stay again. Surrounded by dodgy strip joints and nightclubs, even without worry about any children, it was fairly unsafe and unsavory. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra money to stay somewhere you won't catch a disease and get charged double for the pleasure.
Location, size of room, price, staff, wi-fi, tv.
Homeless guy in front of door that wouldn't let you open it, lack of parking (popular street, hard to find a place)
No elevator No air conditioning Trash in garbage cans Bed not made but fresh bedding on bed.
