No wifi, tv dish network was down and they had someone come and look at it . I really believe that the person was not even with dish .. he did nothing. The WiFi was not working on the second floor and I went to the front desk and told the front desk person that it needed to be fix. Het told me to stand one the first floor that it worked there...and that none else had complain .. It 4 am when I woke up it still didn't work. Window was broken and very dirty I had to prop it open with the trash can. It was so hot in the room that I couldn't sleep.. The front desk guy was very rude. This place is the biggest dump. To whoever is thinking about staying there don't!!
Location - 15 mins to all main tourist points (market st, union sq, piers etc) The rooms were basic- but if you go with an open mind and only expect 1 star then it's good value.
If you're looking for good facilities and service then this isn't the place for you! However, it's a good basic alternative to a hostel. my first impressions were better than expected having read the reviews the night before. I thought others were very harsh eg the cleanliness was adequate. And those who complained it was a bad place to take a date - well, a 1 star hotel wouldn't be my recommendation for this! Be aware that this part of town seems a bit seedy - but it's busy with locals too and so I felt safer walking about at night than in many cities, and felt got no probs.
Staff good! Interesting location! Close to pretty much anything you will be doing! Good for younger travellers not people that want bells and whistles!
Wifi really needs some work! Rooms were on the small and dirty side but not a big issue as just sleeping there! No parking on sight so have to pay lot attendant behind facility which added an extra 45 bucks for the 2 nights we were there! :(
Walk to the pier and downtown. Seemed pretty clean and safe. 1/3 of the price of others around the area
Strip clubs next door, chinatown is very dirty and smells a bit.
I liked the location and it was one of the cheaper places to stay that I could find online. It is within walking distance of a lot of the main attractions.
The room was bad. While the beds were made I noticed either baby cockroaches / bed bugs in the one and so I moved to the other bed. There is no air conditioner in the room. The toilet was missing the cover part of the seat so if you drop a towel off the "above towel rack" it would land in the toilet. There is an alley way in the middle of the building which is full of pieces of wood, an old mattress and other items which was the view out my window - it looked like a fire hazard! Really if I was desperate I'd stay there again just because of the location. Otherwise find a different hotel!!!
The location of this hotel in super, just a stone's throw from downtown or the financial district. The staff were professional.
Well, there was no fan or air conditioner in the room. One night the weather was so hot that I could not sleep for a minute. I had not slept under such condition in the last forty years. The next morning I asked for a fan, but the young man on duty said that there was none and that it was ususal how the weather became so hot the previous night.
Great location, we can leave our luggage after chech out for free
There was really noisy during night because of busy road, night bar and gogo club next to hotel's door. Room was really dirty, a lot of trash inside room. Restroom was also not clean
Cerca a todo, y de fácil acceso
central location to everything.
not updated rooms with clean furniture and beddings etc...
Windows in the room do not open and the air is stale, there are no bathrooms in the room, and rooms are dimly lit
One staff member was really funny, location is great, sandwiched between 3 strip clubs that blast ghetto booty music till 3am!
Imagine yourself in a decomisioned submarine, in the middle of a corn field, repair men no longer exist, grip your sanity tightly as it may slip into one of the cracks, adding to the foundation of Europa and the demise of your being
The price of the hotel is cheap and the locations is great that it's so convenient to go to any place especially you could enjoy the cheap and delicious food in China town which just needs u to go cross the roads. Please do use the GOOGLE MAP!!!then WALK!!!
The hotel is really not clean!but the staffs are awesome :D
location was the best. for lots of excitement
the bed could have been of better quality.
perfect location, free wi-fi
strong noise from the street
Room was small but clean
Could not leave window open without the wooden piece to hold the window glass No AC - a big challenge in hot summer nights People living there for several years Huge smell of food - cooking going on in the night Not a comfortable environment overall
Location was decent for price.
Noisy. Surrounded by nightclubs and strip joints
very good location, friendly staff. Close to almost everything! :) I would definitly recommend this place to my friends :)
Location is good
Mice at night eating my sweets, filthy, smelly. Horror
Easy to find and nearby hot places. Wifi is acceptable to me. The room is in small size, the bed is clean and no smell. Staff is very nice and helpful.
The carpet is old, so u can imagine. I don't why there is no air-con in these hotel in San Francisco. I paid double price of a hotel last time there, it also was no air-con. Feeling hot at night or after shopping back to there. You can open the window but I feel unsafe.
Friendly, helpful staff; best price for the location; sheets were clean; great deal for a night or two stay.
No washcloths; nowhere to set clothes or towels in shower area; no soap or towels at sink in shared bathroom
Located above a striptease bar, very central location in SF, close to bars and cafes, walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf.
Everything else: overpriced, rooms with old furniture, questionably clean sheets, no doors on wardrobes, dirty and dusty curtain, dirty windows. Did I say how overpriced this was? Very!
The worst place I've been in my life, stinky and so dirty! A lot of pigeons shit and garbage on the window and you must open the window because you don't have control on the terrible heat that they turn on all day long in the middle of august!! We asked to move to another room on the first day and they rejected us, after we complained to booking - on the last night (after 5 days!) they told us that we can move to another room - the service is horrible! The room was on a slope! The toilet and the showers were with a lot of mold and so dirty all the time! If you love yourself even a bit don't you dare to come here. Horrible!
Old rooms Broken facilities Dirty ground Staff is not helpful Shared bathroom is dirty Noisy at night ......I can't type all as too many
