Noise Buy its newyork
Knowledgeable staff, great location, super comfortable beds, overall very good stay. Excellent views as we got our requested high floor room.
Hotel reception was being refurbed which we were not told about and there was a bit of noise but it was not really too much of an issue just would have been nice to have been informed.
Great location Very comfortable bed Wine hour!
Location, bathrooms, and how the rooms were decorated. Service was also good.
Restaurant/ bar on second floor needs updating. Not bad but it felt like it needed a facelift.
I can't say that I didn't like anything. . The staff, the room, everything was awesome. We stayed here for our anniversary and fell in love with the hotel. . We're going to be staying at this hotel from now on.
Helpful staff. Beds were amazing
No coffee in rooms had to go to reception each morning
The staff were exceptional.
One of the rooms kept having air-conditioning problems mid-summer. Although they tried to fix the issue, they had to move us ultimately.
The staff were excellent in all areas from the front desk especially but also in the restaurant and the bar. They were efficient, friendly and knowledgeable about the local bars and restaurants. We were appreciative about the advice of the front desk staff regarding arranging a car back to JFK for five adults - usd100 including tip and tolls - which was good value after a bit of a nightmare on the inward journey. Overall a really enjoyable stay at a great hotel, which we would definitely use again.
Nothing really to dislike. Being English we would have welcomed draught beer/lager rather than bottled craft beers but not a huge problem.
The rooms and bathrooms are a generous size compared to most hotels in NY, the beds super comfortable and the views outstanding. The wine hour was a lovely touch.
The lobby and bar/restaurant could do with a refresh as they do look dated and worn.
We could check in early. We really needed to sleep upon arrival. Very appreciative of this. Bed was very comfortable.
No fridge in room.
Specious room with nice shower and the hotel - at central location. The reception personnel were service oriented, and make you feel welcomed. Nice touches with the yoga mattress, giraffe bath robe, the wooden bench in the shower and umbrella (yes, I needed it). The terrace on the fifth floor is unique and pleasant
Construction is going on next door, and starts early (but I woke up to an amazing photographs show on a huge screen just outside the window). Free internet connection, only if you register to be a member. Even then I got a message “we’re technically challenged…” after 20 minutes of trying. But the reception gave me different access code – free and easy! The house keeping service could have been better (emptying the trash and making the bed is not enough to be consider as cleaning the room). At checkout I was surprised to see a charge for drinks from mini bar I didn’t have. Although they waved this charge, this is what I’ll remember from my stay, unfortunately.
I've never experienced more friendly staff Anywhere! Even the attendant at the elevator knew my name! And I'm nobody!! The housekeeping staff even left me friendly notes and totally organized my room! She always left me extra body wash and lotion everyday.
I can't remember what I didn't like because the friendliness of the staff overpowered any negative thoughts I may have had about anything
Really lovely hotel, great location. It was our anniversary and they left us complimentary champagne and cupcakes in our room which was lovely! Staff are friendly and the food in the restaurant is good. The rooms are spacious for NYC and have great views (ask for a high, east facing room if you want to see the Empire State Building.)
The outside veranda shut quite early, but apart from that-nothing!
Very clean, rooms are good size, staff very friendly
noisy construction within the hotel, pillows too flat, no late check out available without spending a small fortune
Loved the rain head shower and the bathroom as a whole. Comfortable bed with nice fluffy white sheets.
Have A/C fan on high to simulate a "fan" noise so I can sleep, but it was very faint.
Location Excellent staff Well appointed room Would stay again
Wish room had a coffee maker Room refrigerator had items in it
Rooms Great service
1. 30-45 minute wait for valet 2. Price $280/nt (recommend getting it near $220 3. One elevator
The staff were not only professional, but extremely helpful, and approachable. The hotel decor itself was perhaps the most rewarding, and pleasurable!!
The design, in one area could have/should have been thought out (designed) a better. I think it was how you needed to go to the second level (switch elevators)...all in order to reach the upper levels of the hotel. Not very accommodating. :-(
The breakfast buffet was excellent. Very attentive service.
The noise from the street.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
The location on corner of 6th Av/30th street is perfect. Bar area very modern and the "Wine hour" is a nice touch/winner Great views from upper floors The Eventi team are more than accommodating - nothing was to much
Having to Check out !
Location was close to many attractions. Great view of the Empire State Building from our upgraded room. Service was prompt and front desk staff easily accommodated our request to be near our children's room.
No coffee or expresso maker in the room. No ice making machines. The furniture in the room was worn looking and not something I would want to sit in.
The room was delightful and modern. The bathroom was amazing and the view was not too shabby. I ordered room service and the food was high quality. Probably the best room service I have ever had. The gym wasn't very big, but it had enough equipment to do the job. The wine hour is a must. The staff was polite and made me feel like a VIP. I will be staying at the Eventi again when I visit NYC.
The price. It is cheaper than the other four star hotels, but I think the other four star hotels are overpriced anyway.
I travel a few times a year to New York and we've experienced a lot of different Hotels but I have to say this was the best one so far, I will consider this being my Hotel for my future plans,....Clean, modern, the spot is perfect close to everything, very quite at night, we had a very relaxing night there...we just loved this place.
The hotel is located very central of Manhattan, very convenient to both subway and Penn Station. The hotel has free wine hour 17:00 - 18:00 providing good quality of wines as much as you like.
