Easy parking with a trailer. Close to route 41 and Cafe.
Oversized pickup truck parked at room 1 made it impossible to drive through making it necessary to back trailer out.
surprised by good condition and large room.
A rug rather than tile floor.
Nice little place on the edge of the Everglades. Nothing special, just a little Florida motel, but clean and comfortable.
It's pricey for what you get, but i suppose it is acceptable given it's location.
good place for trips in everglades, clean room
overpriced in the season, noisy AC
The lady at the check in, the spacious room, good bathroom
No kettle, no hot stove
The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. you have both a front and back door which are on the key card system. The parking is numbered and right outside the door. The staff were very friendly and willing to help regarding any and all questions.
The air-conditioning unit is very close to the bed and its not quiet.
Desk staff were all very helpful, Diane was especially kind when we checked in later than expected, very friendly and gave good recommendations on local eateries and sights! The place has been remodeled and updated very nicely but retains it's old Fl. mom & pop motel feel.
We enjoyed our stay and will come again!
Debbie who excels In guest services. Upgraded bath
Nothing to dislike
Good value, easy car access, quick check in and check out. Diner next door, 10% discount to Motel guests
The room didn't look like it had been cleaned in a while. Continental breakfast is spartan. The food in the next door diner (pretty much the only place to eat in Everglades City when we were visiting) was OK, but the service can certainly be improved.
Location. The room was large and very clean. Really appreciate the kitchen facilities.
Wifi and cell phone service was not good for AT&T.
Location if you want to visit the Everglades you are in a good place to start
The City of Everglades City
Less expensive of the two nicer places in town (so I was told by a local). Recently upgraded to Hampton/Marriott/Best Western levels, except for soaps/shampoos etc. Rooms are well-cleaned. Very plain restaurant next store gives 10% discount.
Staff leaves by 10PM and returns at 8:30AM if you are lucky.
There's not a lot of motels in Everglades City and they are all fairly expensive for what they provide.
Small, friendly town. Friendly staff, good information upon arrival about restaurants, airboat tours, grocery shopping. Discount on the restaurant next door. Well equipped with fridge, microwave, plenty of glasses for everyone. Clean and fresh.
I was quite suprised by this hotel. Everything was updated, clean, and quite nice. I would recommend it to anyone traveling to the everglades.
Discount to nearby restaurant. Nice new bathroom.
No pool , no private outdoor area.
Modern and stylish on the inside, traditonal outside. Useful kitchen area. Close to a restauant and gift shop. A short drive to the state park. .
Accommodation was fine but stock up with provisions because the choice in local shops is very limited.
Property maintenance outstanding. Lots of great outdoor areas for families. Rooms basic, but clean and attractive. Great location for Everglades National Park and fishing/airboat trips.
Very Clean! large room, good kitchen, nice bathroom. Accommodating friendly staff.
Beds were squeaky. Bikes are not maintained well but at least they're free so there's good thought behind it. Would stay again.
Great location, very comfortable beds, reserved parking for each unit right at the door, and the discount at the excellent cafe next door. For people with boats, there's ample parking for them back of the motel, and a door on that side of the room too. BTW, the name is now Captain Jack's Everglades City Motel.
Bathroom fan was noisy, but we considered that an extremely minor problem.
Desk personnel at check-in were very helpful and up beat. Although I had expected an older motel, it had apparently been renovated recently with the room looking brand new.
Quiet. Front desk very friendly. Clean. Spacious.
No breakfast service of any kind. I would buy food before I left for this area. The prices are VERY high in Everglades City.
Large room and modern bathroom.
Could not check in before 4pm.
