Rooftop area with views Clean rooms with good beds
Rooms next to elevators are noisy Have to pay extra for wi-fi
Excellent location.it is near Waikiki beach .But not so noisy.
Bathroom is not not clean. And looks like old.Room is not nice.
I expected to be in a not so clean/comfortable room. However, it turned out to be the complete opposite! The room was comfortable, clean and accommodating. The staff was happy and helpful.
The elevator was too small, and very annoying to wait for since there's only one. Parking is very limited. Also, it would've been nice to have a dvd player for all the tv's in the room.
Not having a restaurant
loved the staff very helpful and only 3min walk to beach
Location, price, night manager.
Elevator should be condemned, room stunk of old building, rooms out dated, limited parking.
Ample space. 2 bathrooms
The ac of the dripped on our face & didn't cool well.
Location, one friendly concierge
Absolutely no WiFi for a 10$ service fee, some unfriendly staff
It had everything we needed. Clean, safe, quiet, and close to everything. Roof Top Garden.
No vending or food. Only a soda machine.
Check in was too late. We had to wait all day. Not one room was available til 4pm.
The staff in reception was excellent. They have helped me to find a room for my colleagues who arrived on my departure time: they looked for the options even in another hotels. Finally, they could get room for my colleagues for another 3 nights in Ewa . I have never met such dedicated and helpful persons at any hotel in the world. The name of one of the men was Etsu, I believe.I thank him a lot!
With 2 bedrooms and additional beds in the mainroom, there was space enough for the teenagers to have their own beds and space. Each room had its own airconditioner and TV which cut down on arguements. The proximity to the beach and the park was great and the street is reasonably quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The hallway walls were thin. We could hear loud conversations ocurring in the hall from the room.
Location Friendly staff
TV reception poor
Proximity to Waikiki beach and nightlife. Very economical
Need a pool.
Location was great
Noise was dreadful
The man at the front desk was very rude to us and made us feel like we were a nuisance to him. Also, there is not much parking available, so we were told we would have to park at the zoo. He was not even apologetic when he informed us of this. We are local and just wanted to have a fun night in waikiki, but we're very turned off by the front desk worker. We will not be returning here again.
Location and overall efficiency of the staff
Staff was extremely helpful
Park lot full fpr first night and had to park on street 2 blocks away. cost $2 per hour prepaid.
The staff is really nice The hotel is 2minutes away from the Waikiki beach
Location and nothing else!
Poor facilities, very old furniture, annoying st though it is on a small one, only one elvator available that is old, scary and you will had the feeling of falling down anytime! We were lucky! Because we booked this hotel only for one night, the worst night in Honolulu !
The staff here, front desk, house keeping, maintenance and anybody else I foolhardedly forgot to mention gave my stay here the feel of a 5 star luxury hotel. They treat everyone like a V.I.P. . The location is also very convenient to the beach and all that Waikiiki has to offer.
No room(breakfast,dinner,etc.,) service.
close to beach
Good location a little away from the main drag, close to beaches and aquarium, near major bus routes; very helpful staff especially with directions; the cooking facilities and laundry saved money. Felt safe and comfortable.
Decor a little tired but not a major concern for me.
I'm from New Zealand and may have higher standards/expectations than the normal travellor from the US. - Excellent Location! Right by bus-stops, trolley stops, mini grocery shops, restaurants, bars etc - Helpful staff that have all the bus timetables and travel tips - Air con was new and really good and quiet - bedding was clean - travel on a budget - you wouldn't want to spen much time in the rooms. So if you have a jam packed schedule this accomodation should be fine.
- asbestos roof - rooms were dark and dank - rooms were outdated and very tired - very strong smelling bad odour in first room and asked to be transferred to another room, which wasn't as bad smelling but still kind of stunk - carpet was a bit gross and dirty, I wouldn't walk around without my shoes on. - the bathroom sink taps wouldn't work so had to use kitchen sink only - only one lift - it would take 3-4 minutes on average to get up to my room on the 6th floor. I'm not exaggerating. The first time might be okay, everytime after that was infuriating. - Not the type of place you'd go for a romantic weekend away
