The location & price suited our needs.

The hair neglected on the bathroom floor, the cracked bathroom sink.

great location next to Waikiki beach, good starting point for Oahu if you prefer city location.. sufficient amenities for frequent travelers but dont go there if you look for luxury.. but Oahu offers so much to see that hotel should not be a primary concern.. this hotel is great value for money

I got a room on the top floor. It was wonderful to enjoy a great balcony on the roof.

I heard after I left that a friend of mine booked the same room for a cheaper kamaaina rate. I was not aware of this discount

Location, Location, Location--one block off from the beach but near everything. Price perfect.

Sorry, I liked everything.

We liked the location. It was easy walking to the beach and all of Waikiki. Very close to public transit and tour buses. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. Tv was fine. The hotel was quiet. Though we didnt use it the room also has a 2 burner stove and was supplied with dishes.

While not really dirty the room could have been a bit cleaner. We found some hairs in bathroom. The bathroom door was very worn and probably needs replaced. There is no fan in the bathroom. The knob on bathroom sink was broken though it still worked. The seating could be better. The couch was uncomfortable, it was more of a second bed with no real back on it. The carpet had no padding it seemed like just carpet over cement flooring. None of this was terrible and the price of the hotel was a lot less than the surrounding area. It was a fine place to stay while we visited the island because we didnt spend much time there. It had the basics. A comfy bed, a hot shower and it was quiet.

I liked the location and price for the location. The staff was very friendly. I would stay there again

If I had a complaint it would be lack of consistancy when supplying bath towels, hand towels and wash clothes. Sometimes I got all of them, sometimes they were out. An alarm clock in the room would really be an asset.

The staff were very friendly and liked their jobs. It was clean and well laid out.

The internet was really slow and you had to pay extra for it. In the kitchen, the fridges wasn't turned on and ready and water had melted. Also no smaller pans and no water heater for tea.

This is a nice hotel close to the ZOO just 5 min walk to the beech. The room was spacious and calm. It is a good value for money.

I loved the staff, they were friendly and helpful every time we had questions for them. The location was great, just two blocks from Waikiki Beach - it might have been down the end of the beach but it was really close to public transport so there was no issue catching the bus or trolley to other parts of Waikiki or even Honolulu as a whole.

The only thing was they didn't have a pool but knowing that it would have cost a lot more to stay there, it wasn't really an issue

We had a short but pleseant stay at the Ewa hotel. We arrived earlier than check in and the front desk was very helpful and accomodating, holding our bags for us and even letting us check in early. He was also gave us helpful tips when booking our transportation to the airport. Great hotel and great location!

A great choice for the budget-conscious traveller! The dude at the front desk was very nice, and the room was fine. Close to the beach too, at the Zoo end of Waikiki.
