Great location, nice rooms, especially when high enough for the view.
Everybody we met a the reception desk was very short and not friendly. We can not recommend the breakfast !
The location was ideal, and it was just cozy
Very comfortable room, convenient location, good value for the money, great restaurant, attentive staff
Location, decor, gym
Price of internet, lifts seemed always waiting on a lift.
The location is incredible. The rooms are decently sized (even large for NYC).
Front staff is actually pretty rude. Things are just dirty: part of it is that the property is old, but when you find a dried-out grape stem on your floor when you arrive, it's not just that. Oh yeah...you know that free shoe shine you get with your suite? They don't actually shine your shoes. It's almost laughable
Very helpful staff. Nearness to Central Park and Museum. Room décor.
Room was small. Expected more for $250+ per night. Parking at Museum was expensive.
Location was ideal for taking advantage of joys of Central Park. Service provided by the door men and baggage men.
-Concierge service atrocious...Betsey extremely rude and unprofessional! -Double beds NOT double at all - not suitable for couple wishing to enjoy a comfortable long weekend in NYC.When requesting a King room only rooms available would have been exposed to noise of early morning building works. -At time of booking we were not informed of on going building works. Thus choice of room confined us to a room with no view or sense of daylight/weather conditions for the day. Only possible to know weather conditions once stepping outside the hotel. Dark...dark...dark... No free WIFI in rooms. Only in the lobby. Room decor tired.
There is wifi in the room with additional charge.
Very clean and comfortable.
The hotel room we had was very small very deceiving look a lot bigger on the website.very pricey
Pretty, clean, well located near Central Park.
Service at your reception desk was terrible
Clean comfortable rooms. Good location, close to the American Museum of Natural History and Central Park.
The staff at the reception was aseptic, bordering on the rude. For our first night, we were put in the wrong room, a tiny sad room with two single beds instead of a 300 sq ft room with two queen beds. I was confused, but we were tired I had low expectations for this hotel to begin with. In the morning, I went to complain and they moved us the right room. No one said anything about making a mistake, no one offered us some kind of compensation, no one said sorry. The guy who made the mistake to begin with looked even annoyed when I went to get the new keys. No fridge in the rooms. Bathroom a tad tiny. Breakfast was nothing exceptional, the donuts felt like they were a day old...
Nice staff, clean room
Location, value for the money
fitness room would have been nice, concierge help
I like the place
We were four persons The apartment they gave us they say it is for four but the truth is that it is barley can take 2 persons. Even the equipments like cups and towels everything was only limited for two. That is nit what i picked the reservation for. I think the description was misinformative i was so upset but i had to live with that.
No coffee making facilities in room. No fridge. No free wifi in room.
Free wifi only available on first two floors.
Loved having a suite. good location near the subway. felt safe. staff was very nice.
Bathtub drain in room 910 was clogged. Everytime I took a shower water would fill up in the bathtub. bathroom is quite small. perhaps some shelves above the toilet would prived more places for bathroom supplies.
Location suits us very well. We were planning on visiting Natural History and Metropolitan. And it's right next to Central park makes it pleasant. Parking at the museum is convenient though you don't have access to your car from 11pm - 8:30am.
The facilities are clean and comfortable.
The engineering staff member was rude when problems were reported, and the problems were not resolved during my stay. Also, I needed to extend my stay a 5th night because of a family emergency. I stayed in the same room, and was charged about $500.00 for the 1 night - when the average cost for the other 4 nights was about $250.00 per night from a booking service. The hotel would not allow the booking service to extend the original reservation.
Spacious room with separate sitting area.
Unable to activate paid movies.
The room was comfortable and the bathroom was fairly large. The cleaning staff were friendly and thorough. It was close to a subway station and the park and museums.
The air conditioner leaked condensation and some of our clothes got wet.
I like the side of the room, the bathroom was very clean, bed very comfortable. The place is beautiful in a very convinues area.
No coffee in the room and they charge for the water when is not a five start hotel.
location was great. Staff were kind, attentive and timely. It's just the showers that made me unhappy.
showers were the worst of any hotel I ever stayed at. I would not come back for that reason.
