This hotel in New York’s Financial District, is a 5 minute walk to Battery Park and Staten Island Ferry. It features a restaurant and rooms equipped with a 32-inch LCD TV.
Score from 375 reviews Good
It was quiet unlike past reviews I had no noise issues. The staff was great and friendly and helpful. Its a great location. Although some of the furnishings and curtains are old it was clean and comfy.
The hotel probably needs a renovation, the curtains are old, the walls need painting. But they are obviously doing their best to make you comfy.
The shower head was primitive and the sink was too low.
Location and staff are good
The room is a bit old
It was Business-trip and for this a GREAT LOCATION! 3 min to wallstreet, lots of restaurants near! Also tourist attractions are close! Friendly Staff at the frontdesk and very helpful. In the center BUT silent rooms. Rooms are very very big, so more than enough place!! We had a great stay! Thank you!
Friendly staff, cleanliness, strong wifi in room
One of the elevators was not working on one of the days we stayed, but it was quickly resolved.
The helpful attitude of staff.
Nice Staff compare to others NY hotels.
The room was huge and amazing. Not what we expected from a NYC hotel. Especially for the price we paid.
Mold everywhere, there was a huge moisture stain on the wall of the room, tv was miniature size, there was a microwave and coffee making stuff but no plates, spoons, knives or forks, cups or any way to eat or drink anything. Overall the hotel is dated, but the filth was really disturbing. Could not understand the reception clerk. Decided to change hotels after the first night. Room was cold but the heater made an awful smell.
Room on the top floor had lots of space and high ceilings, clean and comfortable. Good part of Manhattan with access to ferries, subway and Wall Street
Would have been nice to have a bar in the hotel
Staff was rude and inattentive. Every time I went into the lobby the staff was in the back room playing on their phones. I asked for a late checkout several times and kept being told I needed to ask the morning staff. I left the hotel at 6:30am before the morning staff even arrived and was still told I needed to ask the day staff. When I returned to my room well before regular checkout I was already locked out of my room. The phone in the room did not work at all so every time I needed the front desk I had to leave my room to go to the lobby. I will never use this hotel again, nor will I ever recommend it to people!
I didn't expected kitchen. It was very convenient.
staff was freindly.
The place seemed run down. Bathroom sink base was badly damaged and warped, same with the heaters/air conditioners. You could see on the walls where old pictures were replaced. Just not what was depicted on site. Bar was closed by like 9:00 on a Saturday night. Also, the bed was like sleeping on plywood!! Overall the place was clean enough, but we had one tiny bar of soap and the water went everywhere when you showered because there was only one half of the shower enclosed with glass. I probably wouldn't stay here again.
Room size is quiet large than other hotels, really surprised with activity we can do behind the hotel that we did not know yet before. There was pier 15 and 16 where you can just watching Manhattan bridge from that or drink in watermark cafe, it open until late in the night for public. Fish market, marine museum, and local market.
Bed not comfort too thin and hard, need put matras underneath it. your foot/body will knocked bed edge everytime you will get out from the bed.
Although the hallways were dusty, the room itself was very clean, clean sheets, clean washroom, super comfortable bed! we had a very nice view on Water St. It was chilly when we went, so we turned off the A/C (super easy to control temperature). The subway was super close, and the starbucks. The parking we went to was JUST a street north (40$/24H). RIGHT next to Century21 (Shopping) and the 9/11Memorial. Staff was great! I forgot a painting in the room on our way out, and i emailed the Hotel, they answered me within a few hours to let me know that they had found it and offered to ssend it to my house or to hold on to it for me! Now, if you don't call that service...
I didn't like that the breakfast wasn't included, but it was written in the price, so it wasn't a suprise, i would just expect more from a 4star hotel. The Wi-Fi was slow between 9am and 8pm (probably because numerous people were surfing the net) but appart from that the speed of the Wi-Fi was ''normal''!
location was only positive thing about this hotel
Shower was broken, bathroom tap was very loose, room was clotty and needed badly to be painted, air on was very loud, way over priced for standard of hotel, would not recommend at all
We stzyed only 1 night in this hotel but were very surprised to find a big apartment with lot of space. I loved the style of the hotel and the apartment, very New York style. Everything was perfectly clean. I called the reception before coming, they were very helpful. Friendly and kind staff. Definitely enjoyed our stay in wall street, very good location.
For me breakfast was a little bit poor, missing maybe more pastries, pancakes or something more american. Some details in the room like cupboard a little bit damaged, nothing really serious but for a 4 stars.....
The hotel was good, the location was perfect, near some shops and restaurants and only 2-3 stops away on the subway to Times Square. And 34th st
There was only a continental breakfast option, which costs another $15 per person per day. The corridors did tend to smell of smoke. The TV didn't work for the first couple of days even though it got fixed. The price is very steep for what the hotel actually offers.
Staff is very pleasant and helpfull. Location is good, but noise in the morning is very anoying.
No drapes in the lounge, just curtains, so you need to close them because of the surrounding offices. Swipe cards did not worked and needed to be updated few times. The noise in the morning was coming from the trucks which were collecting rubbish and some demolition trucks as well. No dining table and chairs although the room was spacious.
Cordiality of the staff, location and access to internet and printing room. The contacts/connection with taxis.
Cleanliness of the bathroom and replacement of hygienic products such as soap. Bed conditions- there's a room for improvement, the mattress needs to be replaced. No Gym or massage room.
rooms are wearied out, missing curtains, broken furniture doors and handles. rooms look old. could be cleaned
Smells smoked Weak personnel
Great location Staff very helpful Rooms are clean
Corridors are not that clean and smell oddly No good breakfast (and not free at this price)
