If you're interested in staying in downtown is a nice place to stay, and the staff was really helpful.
Great location close to so many different subway stations. There are banks/ATMs, bodegas, convenient stores, pharmacies, a Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts all within a block or two of the hotel. The room was also super spacious.
Like the other reviews say, the furniture and fixtures could use an update, and the TV was definitely below standard definition.
I had a great time staying here. It was near everything and my suit was wonderful. I would most likely come here again for sure . Gentleman named Anthony and Ivan were very nice and helpful
I didn't appreciate getting charged extra money after my stay because I thought everything was included in my stay.
The price for the location was the most wonderful surprise.
Nice staff, clean ,well located, decent breakfast.
No side lamps by the bed ,room was cold ,although weather was very chilly and it improved after complaint, laminate flooring in bedroom also made it not so cosy.
Close to where I needed to be. Super friendly staff. Very efficient hotel and room had a nice kitchen. The room windows actually opened.
Odd shower door arrangement. Only half of tub had a door. Not a lot of closet space.
The space in the room and the sofa. Very close to 9/11 and food.
A little far from metro. On weekends the line of metro do not go close, you have to walk more.
size of room and layout.
Things needed cosmetic updates
spacious room, kitchen, parking options close-by, great value
not really anything
I liked how neat the room was. I enjoyed the beautiful view and location.
I didnt like that the drinks and snacks were so much money. I feel like with the price of the room they should lower the snack and beverage prices or charge nothing at all. I had a breakfast included room but didn't recieve any breakfast.
Looking for a small cozy place to stay? A home away from home so to speak. This place is perfect. The rooms are setup like modern studio apartments. I stood on the top floor, check this the 8th floor. The view of the financial district from my room window was beautiful and as a born and raised New Yorker, I am not easily impressed. I've stayed in various big name chain hotels in and out of New York City. I took a shot with this place and I was very pleased. The staff were very nice and accommodating.
It was definitely a bang for the buck, awesome spacious room and the comfort level was amazing
Purchasing extra commodities were a bit pricey and the television was very small in comparison to the room and length.
Very spacious room w/ two Queen beds.
Four sets of lights out in our room, so I was unable to read the whole weekend. Cabinetry old and damaged in bathroom.
location for sightseeing and price, close to subway
cold, safe doesn't work
The bed Sofa
Good value for a hotel in the financial district
Excellent front desk
Cable channels had weak connection
Small hotel, great staff and service close to metro so easy to move around the city.
I enjoyed the breakfast, which had a Europeantouch to it. I enjoyed the size(not too large) of the hotel. I also liked the friendliness of the staff and the assistance of the person at the desk.
The shower head Kept hearing a knocking kind of sound in our room and couldn't tell where it was coming from.
loved the location and size
little beat up... but huge space
It was a cold day and a stag changed is to the greater room. Staffs are always kind for us and care about us.
The room was large, but broken light, dirty dishes, no teeth brushes and no slippers made us uncomfortable.
*All the desk clerks I encountered were courteous and professional. *Room 702, a one bedroom corner suite, had plenty of room. *The view was acceptable. *Location was safe and convenient to subways. *Plenty of cabs in the area. *In room safe for laptop etc. *Adequate heating. *Bed and bath linens were clean. *No bedbugs/bugs during my stay.
*Cleanliness wasn't up to my standards. Bring Clorox wipes. *On the last day, hours before checkout, housekeeping disturbed even though there was a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. She apologized. *Slow wifi at times. *Super slow toilet flush all the time. *Platform bed was stiff but eventually got use to it. *Mini bar/kitchen had no wine opener. The desk furnished one to borrow and return. *Most eateries close "early" in the area. *Limited subway access late at night.
- Staff very efficient and very kind - Excellent Hotel location
- Bathroom furniture a bit worn out
