Everything, First - the owner charge at my credit card even when I wasn't arrived Second - I got 2 rooms. One of them smelled a cigarette two much. The solution that the manager gave me was a bottle of air freshener. Third - the appearance of the rooms. They looked very damage, lamps broken, holes in every wall, the unique frame that was in the room, was not straight and ready to fall down at any moment. Fourth - bed - the mattress was so fluffy that was not very comfortable, but the pillows. Oh my god! That weren't pillows that were a piece of garbage. Fifth - bathroom - was clean but the appearance of the walls and the furniture was awful. Zero maintenance Sixth - COUCARACHES - Yes, you read good. We had COUCARACHES in the room. Even thought we stayed at the upper level. Seven - a train passes all time and of course at night also, so all night you are hearing his horn Eight - finally. The attention of the manager. He didn't do anything to make us feel comfortable or try to search for a solution. Fortunately we just use the room for sleep. Conclution - THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN. For few more bucks you can get a better experience.
Very dirty walls, bathroom and overall a huge lack of cleanliness...the smoke detector was missing (someone cut it). No continental breakfast as advertised. I booked three nights, stayed only one. Cut my losses and went across the highway...was much better off for doing so...probably safer too!
I liked that the beds were pretty comfortable and it was near everything!
There was no remote to the t.v., there was only one small towel when we initially got there and they didn't have any available until the next day.
it was filthy! There was wires hanging from open plugs, food & what looked like ketchup on the walls, an OPEN container of sour milk in frig & PEE on the bed sheets! We were there a total of 13 minutes before we asked for a refund & they still charged us for a cancellation fee. Notified bank & will fight this legally. Stayed at a motel 6 instead!
We were in for Texas State Homecoming. This was good for one night stay.
Our room had a few broken things that needed repair & worn out linen should be discarded & replaced.
No soap, no kleenex, pillows very bad,
Didn't like anything.
Manager accused us of bringing in bed bugs. Switched our room on last day. Toilet didn't flush in the first room. Blood stains and boogers on Wall.
No bath mat No fitted sheet on bed; loose sheets on top of loose dirty mattress pad No tissues Toilet paper roll 3/4 full..no back up No hangers on rod Phone dirty Shower dirty-bugs in tub Dent in bathroom door Asked for wake up call-did not receive No coffee maker in room-was told at check in there would be coffee in lobby early a.m. Lobby was locked as I went to get coffee & leave key in morning
roof over our head working toilet
Staff needs cleaning lessons, this looked like a party room for college students. The window was cracked as well. Nothing felt clean. I hate to be negative but this place does not seem as though anyone cares about the image.
Marginal poeple living long term in the hotel, unclean
the staff was indifferent the room had paint peeling off walls and ceilings trash cans had other occupants trash
I thought I was receiving a suite, my light in my bathroom didnt work we had to use it in the dark, the ac unit didnt have any knobs to control it and there is no free breakfast this was very misleading and my children were scared to sleep because of a bug found on a pillow
The place was not too expensive.
The whole facility was dirty. If the place would have been cleaned, it would have been okay. The sheets had stains on them and a roach was seen climbing up one wall.
It was horrible place to stay!! Very poor condition! It should be 1/2 star instead of 2 stars. I will never go back to it!! I do not recommend it to anyone! Scary place to stay! The owner was nice, but the place was scary! Let just say I had to go to store to buy bath towels for all four of us and pillow cases. The parking lot was another issued. The shower was a issued and finally we couldn't turn off the day we checked out. Everything was an issued!!
Nothing, counter man was rude
The rudeness and unfriendliness of the staff
Parking was convenient.
Unpainted walls. Mold on ceiling. Front office cluttered.
The location, and the room was very clean.
Key did not work, every time we left we had to get the manager to let us in, the fluorescence light in the wash area kept going out.
staff was very helpful
room overlooking gas station, stairwell n walls were filthy, as was the walk way. will not book again.
when they discovered we were elderly the switched us our room from upstairs to downstairs.
That they checked me in early and that was good for me
The price, the location, and the room was clean
was a refrigerator in the room that wasnt work and was dirty.with orange juice.
Very dirty. Holes on bed sheets. Key never worked. Had to be let in every time
When i booked the room it said my rate was going to be 119.00 for 2 night stay when i checked in i was charged 157.00, the pillows were very old and used. The card key didn't work initially.
Dirty noisy worn out beds and bedding. Is roach motel a fair description?
My first thought when we drove into the parking lot was "thank God I am not alone". The outside was dirty and run down. We would not have stayed but there was no where else available in town. When we checked in at 3:00 PM, the person at the front desk was not dressed appropriately. She was wearing pajama bottoms which I find unprofessional. The room was semi-clean. There were stains on the bed spread, sheets and towels. There was no soap in the room. The beds only had one mattress which was place on top of a bed frame made of 2X4s. The door had no security chain on it. There was no phone or clock in the room. I would never stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone.
