Staff was friendly. Continental breakfast was good.
The place is infested with roaches. I found two that night and during the night I felt something crawling on me. The next day I see a roach crawling across the bed. I wouldn't recommend staying at this place to anyone. I am not convinced I didn't come away with bed bugs, but that has yet to be determined. The price simply isn't worth staying is a place that is that filthy. I would rather camp in a tent then stay here again.
couple of earwigs crawling on wall
couldn't find it as gps directions incorrect and when call hotel they could not tell us how to get there
Pool and hot tub
Mattresses didn't sleep very well and water in hot tub was not hot
Felt secure, polite staff, no bed bugs!!!
The time it took to check in was long because there was a line and only one employee staffed at the front desk.
the room was clean. check in was easy for a quick weekend float down the river it was a good stay
it was noisy the bed was not comfortable many children running all night in the room above us
We slept good and the manager was kind after we had a problem with housekeeping.
We told a lady in housekeeping who came to our door that we did not want our room clean or fresh towels. A short time later we were in our truck attempting to pull away and were approached by an older man who asked us what room we were in, to which we responded, room 216. Then he asked if we wanted room service and again, we told him no!!!! So we leave for the day and arrive back around 11pm to find someone had entered our room and took all of the towels and didn't leave any!!!!! Furious to say the least. We went to the front desk and requested to check out a day early and the manager on duty took good care of us.
Clean rooms,nice pool,good value.
Room was clean and location of hotel was convenient. We were there for only one night so the price fit our budget. The continental breakfast had a variety of pastries and cereal.
We could not connect to the internet.
The room was good size. The bed was kind of comfy. Everything was clean and the room was ready when we got there. The A/C worked great kept us very cold. Never really checked out the pool but it did look nice. Having a clean bed to sleep in during my trip made my trip so much better. They came to clean the room if you put your sign on your door. I say we had a normal/average experience in this hotel.
The only thing I didn't really like was breakfast. I didn't except a lot but it's a small corner nook in the front building. They had two cerals to pick from. Little mini I think blueberry muffins, some kind of pastry things. Then some apples and oranges. To drink you had orange juice, milk and coffee. So when it says breakfast included I would check why the breakfast is. We ended up eating Denny's right down the street.
Location - convenient to attraction
Our stay was more than the "total" amount quoted. The "total" did not include taxes, etc which meant our room went from $139 to $169 a night. The mattress was lumpy, bathroom had hair in the floor, breakfast at 8:30 only had stale cereal and a few tiny muffins left, no coffe. Coffee pot in room didn't work, wi-fi only worked once in 3 days & front office gentleman could not help us. I would never recommend this location to anyone. I have never spent $169/night on a hotel that I did not enjoy. Our hotel experience was horrible!
Pool closes @ 10pm, and breakfast was bad. No hot food
The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel room was very clean and the AC worked Great. The hotel grounds were nicely kept also the parking lot is very spacious and well lit at night. The breakfast was a plus!
The hot tub had a lot of leaves floating around in it.
Made reservation through booking.com so was able to get a reasonable price.
Stayed right behind the office and wi-fi was very weak! Sink did not drain.
Clean room, staff was pleasant, it was only a short drive to attractions.
Was unable to connect to wifi.
It was quiet for a weekend stay. The bed was super comfortable.
It was close to everything.
There was something in the room that kept biting me and my kids. The lobby smelled bad as well.
Staff was nice
The beds were uncomfortable.
Didn't get the type room that I requested.
Pool was clean and kids enjoyed. Husband was unsure about the cleaness of hotel when we first arrived but it has clean rooms. We stayed 3 nights.
The maids obviously do not read do not disturb sign. I put it on the door when we would leave. Didnt want them in our room while gone, and we would come back to our room been serviced. The maid do not speak english.
The location was good, easy to access from the highway. The bathroom was clean as was the room, except there was old socks on the floor beside one of the bed(probably left behind by a previous guests), you would have thought the cleaning staff would have trashed that.. There was a hair dryer & coffee maker.
What didn't I like?the description of the rooms/ services is definitely deceptive. NO MICROWAVE in a room with 2 queen beds. I was travelling with 2 little kids, the youngest is 1 year old & I booked & I booked a room with 2 queen bed, and there was no microwave. How was I supposed to prepare my baby's food? When I called the called the front desk , I was told that "queen rooms" do not have microwave but "queen suites" do have microwave. I could either come downstairs to use the one in the lobby ( very convenient for a 4 am feeding right), Or upgrade to the queen suite. I ended up upgrading & paid $184 for a nightingale the suite when I had initially booked $214 for 2 nights in the queen room. I go on road trips every year & even when I stay at 1 star guest houses, they still have microwave in queen rooms. It is deceptive to advertise this hotel as 2 star. Would I refer a friend to use this facility ? NO. Also throughout our stay the wifi did not work in the queen suite we ended up staying in. I didn't try it outside the room but it definitely did not work in the room. For the amount of money I paid, I should at least be able to use wifi in my room. Definitely overpriced. Upgrade your services or don't charge such steep prices.
Friendly staff. Good Breakfast.
Dead cockroach in bathroom. Shower facility.
This was our third time staying there. It clean and friendly.
Breakfast was not continental at the least. Itchy Toiletries dinghy Well overpriced.
Front desk check in girl was very nice and helpful!!!
Every time we left and came back our key didn't work so we had to go back to the front and have then redo the key each time. Room service was nice but woke us up both mornings knocking on the door several times. Even on check out day. Other than that they were extremely nice. :)
