Location is easy to access by car

Inattentive staff, breakfast definitely not to write home about

Staff; they were great. Whatever you do to train them to respond to customers, don't stop. Everyone I had contact with seemed eager to help in any way. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet really makes a difference to me. The expense, to me, is a lot of money, but the extras, like the breakfast make it worthwhile. I'll be back.

The bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was good as well. I also liked that there was a lounge in the lobby. Due to the fact that there were not much options of things to do in the area.

The location was in a desolate area. Nothing but factories nearby. Across the small bridge the area was horrible. There were prostitutes walking around without clothes and the guys walking around were very rough looking. The balcony "overlooking" the water was not actually overlooking the water and it was poorly lit back there. There were also so many spider webs on the balcony and spiders dropping from the balcony above, I was afraid to go on the balcony. They were also doing construction on the streets in the front of the prperty and were drilling late into the night.

For the price i payed i expect more, ...for example hampton inn in alameda california, lower price AND better services, like a graet and large selection of breakfast, more modern infrastructure, cleaner... Less noisy..

The room air filters seemed dusty and not giving clean air.

We have stayed here several times before. The location right next to the freeway might make one think the rooms would be noise-they are not. Nothing fancy. Good value

Nice hotel - for business people only. Mr. Roberto was very helpful and friendly.

For a pedestrant (who had to come by taxi) is the location much too far away from Downtown Oakland!

We booked a room two weeks in advance for a room with two queen beds, got there and was given a room with one bed and a roll out , they said they would make up and never did.

Great location, very clean and quiet. The new wing is very nicely updated and very modern. Good job!

Ability to have a later check-out time but I understand.

pretty much everything. we really like the privacy, rooms spacious, quiet, view of water etc.

The room was so musty, as though a group of men came back from the gym. but upon communicating this they immediately freshened up the room. upon checking out, they apologized and took 30 dollars off. GREAT! I just wish they had some restaurants, or Grills close or listed different places to dine. we got lost in oakland, the other side of freeway is dangerous area we found out.Mabye a local area map with food and entertainment might be food.movies,bowling,pool these suggestions might be appriciated by folks like myself who are not familiar with oakland.thank you

The rooms were very spacious and very clean and very quiet. Good value for the money. Breakfast included is a nice feature. Shuttle service a plus.

Distance from San Francisco was a negative but we knew that going in.

Bathroom was not thoroughly clean (hair on floor and in tub). Air conditioner was a wall unit was either too hot or too cold. Not enough blankets. Not places to eat nearby or in the hotel for lunch or dinner.

The staff was helpful- some of them could smile a little more, but overall, they were pleasant and responsive.

OMG...several things in the room were not quiet up to par. The microwave wasn't working properly- often it would not stop after the set time. , the fridge was so cold it would freeze staff (spoiled some veggies, salads, and fruits I had in there, was supposed to get replaced, but that never got done). The safe wasn't working at all. Wireless wasn't working properly in the room. Twice the cleaning staff just skipped my room (ok, it was the holidays...). I was in the suite only building and that building needs some renovations badly. Even something simple as deep cleaning the rooms' carpets would already be a step: at some point, I spent an afternoon in my room and was walking around with bright-colored socks on: they had been clean when I put them on, but were all black at the end of the day... Scary. For the price, one could expect more from such a place. Maybe it needs a management change.

Wij hadden een suite gehuurd met uitzicht op het water. De kamer was hartstikke groot en voorzien van alle gemakken. Een kleine keuken met magnetron en koffie apparaat was aanwezig. De badkamer is voorzien van een ruime douche en een bad. Verder is een verwarm zwembad en een hottub. Deze kan je bereiken door het openen van het hek met je kaart en ze zijn beide heerlijk :-). Ontbijt is goed geregeld en voldoende.

Enige wat op te merken is dat het hotel alleen te bereiken is via een brug waarbij je van Oakland naar sf tol moet betalen (voor 10 is dit 6 dollar, daarna 4). Andere kant op is gratis. Bij het ontbijt is er geen beleg. Alleen het zoete spul dus wij hebben nog een pakje ham en pate gehaald voor de afwisseling.

It provided clean and reasonably comfortable accommodations. Free parking is a big plus.

The wifi, though free, did not work well in the lobby, and seemed not to work at all in my room. As a business traveller, this would present a big problem on more than an overnight trip. I will no longer stay in hotels that charge for wifi service, and expect it as a standard feature.

It Was great except an emplyee lied to me about a dicount and I ended up paying more from their mistake. I was told I wold have my triple A discount and when I paid i was told i could not. There is a lot of compitition out there and I am a surprised a big hotel like yours would worry about a lousy discount that may make me never stay there again.

location in relation to where I was working

the room is nothing like the photos, for the price or I should save over price it was not even close to worth it, checked out after one night went to the Homewood by Hilton next door for better price/room/service

Room accomodations were budget, w/o the budget price.

I was comfortable and the breakfast was good
