The staff were kind and helpful. The beds were pretty comfortable and the room was a little larger than some other places we have stayed nearby.
The wifi was not working very well.
Nice place and good location. Very helpful staffs to guide us on how to travel in the area. Also appreciate Vincent's help in arranging day tours even before we arrived. Hope to have a chance to visit SF and stay at Vintage Court again
Air conditioning was quite noisy. Wifi wasn't working at times.
The drinks at 5 pm daily were excellent and the staffs were extremely helpful. Room was clean and nicely decorated, room service was great. The room was very quiet and had no trouble sleeping.
Had the top floor most corner room, and wifi was intermittent, weather was cold so didn't have to switch on ac, which was rather noisy sometimes.
The location of the hotel is excellent for the price. Close to great shopping, Union Square, restaurants and BART nearby. The wine hour was a nice added touch. We also used the mini-bar. So many hotels are not doing this anymore and although the selection was small, it's nice to have something late at night.
The atmosphere of the room and hotel in general along with the location where good.
The staff are incompetent in terms of billing and reservations. Don't plan on getting the room you booked but due plan on spending an hour on the phone a day for weeks after with them to try and have the correct charge to you card due to overcharging then undercharging then overcharging again.
Parking close to the hotel worked fine and the fee was 30 usd per day. Nice and helpful staff in the reception.
The free wifi connection in the room was bad. It worked only in the reception.
Location in Union Square conveniently close to trolley stop.
Cable car is near to hotel
Rooms were smelly and too small the charges for room is very high mean's no value for money
Location - outside to the right was a good café for breakfast, and the cable car. Outside to the left was the start of China Town. Price was fair for the area.
Breakfast here was not even considered when we had a look. Room overlooked other buildings, no view unless you got on the Bush St side. Rooms, especially the bathroom, was tired and needs decorating
Good location. Have been here several times
Location was great and staff very accomodating and helpful. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a great central location.
There was a very musty smell in the room. I couldn't recognize the smell but it definitely wasn't fresh. Bathroom was small so one person in at a time - but not a big deal.
Location,Room size and cleaness , Confort
Price for the parking lot..around $30 per day.
Wi Fi Connection was very slow.
Friendly staff. Cozy lodge, where free wine hour is organized every day.
Only continental breakfast, which were quite pricy.
The air smelled foul. The room much smaller than the picture. No coffee. Anything at all was extra cost.
Location was great. Near the Powell and Mason line and Union Square.
The wine hour in the evening. Nice fire in the lobby fireplace. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable.
No one offered to help with getting luggage from the car with valet parking.
very friendly staff helped with ideas for sightseeing and food.
rooms had a very musky smell that caused us to puruchase our own air freshner which didnt take away the smell. it was awful. housekeeping was told that first night, and nothing was different the next night. it was evident in the hallway of our floor also. 7th floor. the checkin desk is located in an odd and awkward place. we had to drag heavy luggage down steps, no ramp. the checkin area afforded no privacy for ourselves as we checked in, or asked questions.' for the size of the room and bathroom, very over priced. will not consider staying at this property unless things change significantly.
The wine tasting every afternoon is great. They served the same wine everyday I was there, but at least it was a reasonably good one.
The surroundings of the hotel are busy and can get a bit too noisy in the early mornings.
Very near to Union Square and the shopping area, as well as to Chinatown that we wanted to visit on our stay in San Francisco.
Staff not overwhelming friendly. Just on the OK side. Breakfast menu looked poor (prefer going to Chinatown and eat dim sum and buns for a change). Superior room was just average (I don't want to know what a standard room would look like): small, venitian shade only. OK for a night, but I wouldn't make this my base for a longer stay.
Great staff. Clean rooms.
Room smelt musty.
Very expensive hotel, cleaned badly, no breakfast, in-room stinks of old age, is comparable in quality with the usual roadside hotel.
Location, staff very friendly
Smell of old in room
Noisy street extremely loud air conditioner
