Service desk The air conditoning wasadecoation not a functional unit. As a business person I was only sleepaing there and di dnt care but it is not a plus.

Very nice styling, very convenient to walk or use public transport around the city. Very small room even w/ queen + upgrade. No pool or soaking tub.

Location was just around the corner from Chinatown and Union Square so it was handy. Loved the wine mixer every night at 5pm! Expensive, but hey its San Fran!

Proximity to Union Square. Room had an element of charm to it Linens appeared to be clean. Musty smell. Loud in early am as trash trucks passed by. upholstered chair was very worn.

We have stayed at this hotel several times before. We like the location and the value for the money. We also like the wine tastings in the evening even though we didn't attend every day. The staff is superb. I consider this a boutique hotel and it has all the services we need for a short stay. It is at the top of a very steep hill.

Good value for the money: great location, had its own quirky charm. We never took advantage of the free wine tasting in the evenings but it looked like folks were thoroughly enjoying it. Some really good restaurants are in the neighborhood as well, if you're in the mood to splurge on every level.

I thought the price for the 4 days was fantastic. The location was perfect and the staff was helpful. Overall all our stay wasn't bad. The hotel does need some work. The heating system is not very good. The bathrooms have no heat at all. Not very comfortable when it's cold out. Not sure i'd recommend someone to stay here.

The location of the hotel was great as it was close to Union Square and Chinatown. Hotel staff were helpful when asked specific questions but didnt offer any active assistance.

The staff was amazing! They were always courteous and helpful! There was a slight odor in the room and hotel upon arrival. This did clear as the weekend progressed.

I had the fortunate experience of staying in the penthouse; it was a very nice suite. Comfortable, quiet, nice bathroom, awesome sitting area. I just didn't get enough time to sit in my room and enjoy it ;) the location is very convenient: 1 block off of Powell Street, within an easy walk of everything I wanted to do. The TVs are outdated. The price was very expensive, but I think that was because many rooms throughout the city were booked for the Oracle conference happening at the same time.

The Vintage Court Hotel has a wonderful staff working at the front desk, very comfortable accommondations, and is located in a convenient part of the city. I didn't bring a laptop along on this trip and was frustrated to find that the terminal in the lobby was not in working order.

Great location, only a couple of blocks from union square. Good price for it's location. Room had a funny smell, this went after the window was left open for a while. But was back again after you had been out for the day with the window shut. Not sure what or where it was coming from?
