This place is a bargain for New York, food and drinks provided in the fridge. Nicole was very nice, gave us a lot of advices, a lot of space just for you. It's basically a flat.
We didn't like the area at all. We got lost getting out of tube and had to take a taxi. Maybe it was our fault that we didn't have a proper map. Area is very multicultural. Local supermarket has got sign on it saying "no gangs". When we were coming back home late in the evening we hided all cash - didn't feel safe.
Nicole was great, went out of her way to help us. Very clean and great parking. Breakfast provisions were excellent.
Getting there by Subway(L-Train) Stop105th street , I didn't know my way around. A very nice young Women walked me there, was interested in every thing I said - Nicole - the Innkeeper opened the door and was with all her friendliness the Girls ' Pendant '. Very protective , very interested, enough Maps and Museummaterial around .
It's a little way to the Subway At 105th street but you can always go to the last stop and you find a carservice right when you step out of the Station.
The room and house were very beautiful, clean and felt like home. The location was excellent for us as we rented a car and there was plenty of spaces to park. It was also an easy ride to Manhattan by metro. Nicole really did everything she could to ensure we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who doesn´t neet to stay in Manhattan area.
The innkipper is very nice and very helpfull. The queen room is very nice and has all of the appliences that are needed to make a good meal.
The guest house is located a bit far from the nearest subway station (15 min walk), and the neighborhood at night is a bit scarry
Not much sorry
To be told on arrival that the Host does not live there - also we had to do our own breakfast then wash up ourselves, the carpet in our room was stained the room itself smelt musty the bathroom privacy glass was pretty much see through. On checkout day we had to look downstairs for the owner to get the deposit back for keys but found someone laying in a sleeping bag on top of a room full of rubbish. VERY WORRYING
My stay was very pleasant enjoy every moment of it...
We enjoyed our stay here in Brooklyn. The owner (Nicole) is very warm, nice and very helpful. We spent a great time talking with Nicole. If you need help, just ask! We also felt very safe and the area is really quite. So after a busy day in Manhattan you can relax and sleep without any disturbances. The rooms are very clean and the equipment is excellent (including washing machine, laundry dryer, hairdryer, computer and printer, ac's etc.). The fridge was always full with water and necessary food for the breakfast. We really recommend this place!
We have no complaints about staying here.
overall good,; enjoy it!
