The gentleman who worked the desk at night was friendly and helpful.
I had changed my plans from a different hotel because we wanted an indoor swimming pool for my handicapped grandson. Pool closed. Room was smelly. 2 adults 2 children 3 worn out towels. Each night upon return to room had to go back to desk and have keys reprogrammed. No key was never next to my phone or anything else. Worst motel experience I have had in Roseburg.
Manager gave me trouble, even though I had told the clerk that I had a dog with me. Threatened to charge me for a cleaning charge. Rooms were clean but hallways were musty and smelled of mold.
Nothing was good, mold in room, shower was never cleaned and previous tenants towel and bathing supplies left in shower, mold everywhere wall paper falling all over and even though pool says open and spa on reader board, it was not open or accessible, neither was wifi- we booked for two nights so bad stayed one even though they refused to refund money-awful awful

The staff met us with a smile and then it all went down hill from there. We had a copy of our booking which was good because they tried to tell us we only paid for a booking of two people not 4. We showed them our paperwork and she said that Booking.com messed that up and that we had to pay for a different room since we had 5 people. I told her the website said we had to pay for one additional person. Round and around we went finally landing on an upgrade, if you can call it that, for $26. Then she complained about it since she has to pay a 30% booking fee. We went to our room to find the towels had what we hope was stains on them and the toilet was not clean. We were so tired by then we just went to bed. The beds were old and uncomfortable. The next morning we went to have breakfast in the kitchen. It was dark and uninviting. The waffle mix was old and seperated. My husband asked the front desk guy about it and he said, with attitude, it is fine and left. We ended walking to Elmer's and we will never be back to this nasty place.
If your expectations are low this place is fine. The only good thing I can say - booking.com made an error in our room but the front staff accommodated our large group without extra cost. Nice front office lady but otherwise a poor hotel.
It's old and needs work. Our room smelled and the bathroom was dirty - it looked the like shower hadn't been cleaned in years. To watch tv we had to unplug the lamp. Beds were okay and it was quiet so we slept okay. Breakfast wa terrible - we skipped it - all the cereal was gone, the donuts looked a week old, no fruit or protein. For the price we weren't impressed at all!

Breakfast was terrible. Doughnuts (the only thing left when we went down at 8 AM) were still frozen solid. Waffle toppings were fake and not edible. I would spend a little more money to have breakfast for our crew of 7 (we rented two rooms).
A facilities worker stepped in to assist the manager who had lost her temper.
They said they didn't have our reservation and insisted we email a copy of it. When we did, the manager claimed to have not received it twice, even though the copies we sent to ourselves arrived promptly. She then wanted to charge us another $5.00 for the king room she had allowed us to put our things in.

The suite was huge.
I had to clean the tub and the shower before using them, towels and soap were only provided for one of the two bathrooms, the room smelled of cigarette smoke covered up with cheap air freshener, the carpet throughout the entire hotel was filthy, the continental breakfast was dismal, and there was no wifi. The rear door was broken and open to anyone who wanted to walk in.
I did not. I liked the reviews after I read them, and I agree that this is not a good place to stay. Fairbridge Inn Express has a nice sound to it, but it's just a booking and marketing business. Any fleabag inn can affiliate for $20 something per room per year.
Tired old building in need of major fix-up. Exterior door lock broken and gone, room lock not working, carpets stained and funky, chairs stained and funky, curtain torn, grubby fingerprints on the windows. No bedbugs, though -- I'll give them that. Booking.com not helpful.
Proximity to town, large room, pool
Upon arrival, we were told our room was ready. We went to our room to find the bed made but after pulling back the sheets we found HAIR and the pillowcases had makeup crusted on them. Further inspection found trash (bottle caps and napkins) on the floor and food (rice) on the chair. We notified the front desk and the manager told us the room had been cleaned. We walked through the room with her and suddenly she changed her tune saying the room "wasn't finished." Then why was the bed made!!?? They tried to pass off a dirty room as clean! The whole facility was very dirty.
Indoor pool was heated well, we really enjoyed swimming.
I had an awful, awful check in experience. I needed to change my reservation, but because I reserved online, they had no idea how to modify it. They would not let me change from a 2 day reservation to a 1 day reservation. They told me if I stayed I had to pay for two nights, but if I didn't stay they would charge me for one night regardless. Even so, I could not just stay for one night. I have never been to a business like this, where the staff will not work with you on issues like this. Check in took almost 30 minutes because the first employee at the desk 'was supposed to get off work 5 minutes ago,' and didn't know how to handle my situation, so decided to wait for the next employee to come in. Finally, we agree on a reasonable price for my forced two day stay, but here I am a week later checking my bank statement and finding out they charged my card a second time for an additional $40! I have no idea what for, but it was charged at check in so it's not related to anything during my stay. Probably something to do with them not knowing how to handle reservation changes. Time to call my bank and challenge the charge...
Rooms were clean. We used the pool. Easy location from freeway. Rom rates were good.
Wet carpet around hall near pool and ice machine. One of outside doors never locked for security. Breakfast left me wanting better food.
Garbage hadn't been emptied and the chair at the table was broken
Toilet paper was almost out in our bathroom and no extra roll..No bath towels in our room..Some lights didn't work(bad bulbs?) One drinking cup for two people and it wasn't covered in cellophane. Not sure if it was clean. Exterior door to motel had no handle or lock, just a hole you grab to open. Hot tub was only warm. Ice machine didn't work right. Some items at breakfast already gone before we got there.
