A lovely hotel for business or city break. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, reasonable price.
Location, Breakfast, Staff was very friendly and helpful
The hotel and staff were excellent, they could not do enough for you. The breakfasts were lovely and a lot of choice. The location was fabulous, close to all I wanted to do and see.
A little noise from other rooms, but probably only to be expected.
The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast (included) was adequate. Hotel was clean, and very well placed for main Manhattan sights.
The room was a bit small for the price...tho, for NYC I guess it was a reasonable rate...
My husband and I were at the Fairfield Inn December 28-30 and had a great stay. Room was small but to be expected in NYC...great use of space though to have all the ammenities. Asked for a high floor with a view but did not happen. All in all it was a great location, very clean, and super helpful staff. Daniel offered great suggestions for dinner. Would definitely stay there again for the value and location!!
Location a little away from Times Square is perfect. Nice free breakfast in the morning always a plus.
Our room on 16th floor a little too small for price.
Recommended for budget with quality. Very Nice staff!
All staff here are great and go that extra mile to help you Reception are informative, patient even pressure. Breakfast girls, Janitor, and cleaners, were efficient, presentable and helpful at all times. The buffet breakfast was excellent serving amazing scrambled Eggs. Nice outside seating area
As eating out is quite expensive it could benefit from offering an evening buffet service, especially if the weather is bad. The heating in the breakfast room was very hot. Outside seating was lovely but could do with being shielded from the elements and a couple of heat lamps. Great area to relax after a busy day shopping. The refreshment area needs more frequent replenishing.
We stayed at fairfield inn & suites for 2nights! Many sights and shopping places where within a 5-10 minutes walking distance (times square, rockerfeller center, bryant park, macy's,.... ) It was one of the less hotels with included breakfast! We will definately return next time!
Room small but functional.
Daytime staff was NOT knowable and seemed to get very confused at the simplest tasks. The night was GREAT.
The staff is amazing and helpful. The location is central and close to everything. Size of the room is great.
The carpet in our room was not that clean and not enough lighting in the room. It was dark.
- Location is excellent: the metro is less than 5 minutes from the hotel and you can easily walk to Madison Square Garden, Macy's, or even Times Square. - The room was small but comfortable and with a great view (I could see the Empire from my window!!!) - Breakfast was included (quite rare for NY) and rich (hot and cold beverages, bread, jam, bacon, eggs, yoghurt, cakes) - The girls in the breakfast room are very friendly, and the male receptionists are all GREAT!!! They gave me plenty of information about what to do around the city and made me feel a newyorker for few days. Without them, my trip would not have been as good as it was.
- The price is quite high, but considering the standard in the city it is not bad at all.
This place is fantastic for so many reasons. I was here with my wife and baby for the marathon weekend. Price was the best for location and rating. Daniel (front desk) is very personable and a genuinely nice guy who is interested in making your stay pleasant at any cost. The breakfast!!! Delicious. Fresh bagels, Starbucks coffee, and yogurt, plus other options. Location is ideal. King size bed is comfortable. Rooms are small but expected for downtown NYC. I would highly recommend this hotel.
helpfulness of the staff Friendliness of staff location
Bathrooms are cramped Rooms are small
- Excellent location, close to Broadway, Empire state building, Times Square, Metro stations - Very friendly staff (Jose Rodriguez - Thanks!)
- Rooms had just about enough walking space after bringing in 2 large suitcases - Breakfast was ordinary
Perfect location. Clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. We had a great time.
Front desk attendant,Daniel A. Went out of his way to help not only me but every guest that came in to make their stay a pleasant one He is the PERFECT person to introduce guests to facility You are very lucky to have him!
Thought hotel was a little over priced for the size of room/bathroom and furnishings. But location good
Shower, bed, staff was very polite and helpful with subway imformation
Carpet was wet outside the bathroom. It was coming from the wall but not from our shower. Wall showed signs of moisture under the toilet paper holder. Breakfast selections were ok but not great. Not a deal breaker for us.
The location is within walking distance to numerous sites in the city. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Almost unbelievably so. Top notch!
It is Manhattan, so it's to be expected, but the rooms are more European size than American. Quite small.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Centrally located and easy to get to tourist spots with ease. Great toiletry range!
Small rooms. The elevator was a bit slow. The hotel is quite noisy because of it's central location.
Good location, amazing staff, delicious breakfest, internet working pretty well in rooms.
The staff was very friendly, and always greeted us upon arrival and departure from the hotel. They were very welcoming! They answered any questions we had and were very helpful.
The bed sheets were not fitted so they were all over the place.

Hotel has excellent location just a minute away from 5th Avenue. Rooms are not big but cute and comfy. Breakfast is not perfect if you're looking for a good choice of hot food but provides enough to keep you going for a day (excellent pastries and coffee from Starbucks). Rooms have very good working space (large desk), electric sockets are conveniently located on the lamps. Good point is that coffee pot exists in the room
Storage space in the room is scarce. Wardrobe is pretty narrow and bedside tables have draws 9-10 sm wide (about 4 inches). As there is no chest of draws you won't get really comfortable if you are in NY for more than a couple days
