Fairfield Inn by Marriott Medford Long Island  

whirlpool/hot-tub is wonderful - just the right temperature and good, strong jets. Pool a little small but still adequate for doing laps, and at a good temperature

I was there for the night before my wedding when booking I explained I needed rooms next to each other on phone I was told no problem but as soon as I checked on I was told nope sorry I needed a mirror and Just help for my bride no help was offered

Credit card was billed when the room had already been paid for, but 3 days to correct.

clean, comfortable hotel room & a very relax lobby lounge with free tea, coffee, hot water supply. There is a Chinese restaurant just across the road, good-tasted, cheap and convenient. wifi speed is fast, free parking. Price is fair.

a little bit far away from outlet or Montauk, only fit for those drive.

Quiet location, clean, bright facility; friendly staff

The hotel is brand new, very clean and the breakfast was typical, but very good. The staff at breakfast were very accommodating and pleasant.

The design of the room: the bathroom is split between toilet/sink area and shower/sink area. That part is fine, but both parts of the bathroom are at the foot of the bed. (!)

Rooms dont smell like marriots

Convenient to Islip airport - centrally located - we were on the south side of building and enjoyed being able to see the wooded countryside - the hotel was quiet - front desk staff were helpful in getting us directions - the buffet breakfast was well stocked and staffed - our room was very clean - we will recommend this hotel to friends/family

The rooms, and the hotel were very clean and well presented. The beds were comfortable and the linens were of a good quality. The location of the hotel was central for touring Long Island.

-For the foreign traveller there was no information about the sites and attractions of Long Island. Consequently we spent too long travelling and searching for things to do and places to visit. -On three occasions we reported that the bathroom sink plug was not working properly. Despite this the problem was not rectified in the 4 days we were staying at the hotel. -Whilst being adequate, the breakfast would have benefitted by having some hot food rather than som tasteless microwaved 'stodge'. -One of the attendants started to clear breakfast away before the published time. -Access and egress is confusing due to the 1-way system outside the hotel.No left turn on leaving adds time to your journey.

No fitness equipment, only cardio

A certainly very clean facility with the impression, that it is newly built. Friendly staff - especially front desk worker Tara did a great job! Her hints for restaurants, beaches, shopping and what to do where always helpful. Her Cookies were great as well. Thanks a lot for a really good stay!

The breakfast is good, but should use more sustainable and fresh food. It was a bit disappointing.

The facility was extremely well maintained, organized and clean. It was very comfortable.

At check in, one of the staff was a bit short tempered. After an 8hr drive, this wasn't the best welcome, so I tried to avoid her after that. The others were very polite.

The staff was outstanding; they were friendly and helpful. We were assigned a room on the first floor almost directly across from the pool. I was concerned that it may be noisy, but my fears were unfounded. The rooms were clean; the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was ready when we were.

Great location, price was good but the staff (Kaitlyn in particular) were very very helpful. I was there for a family funeral and found myself lacking in concentration. My plans changed due to family and I left the facility in hurry forgetting my batteries and charger. When I returned they could not have been more pleasant. I also want to say it is a busy traffic location but I never heard the traffic at all. I would not hestitate to stay at that location or any other Fairfield Inn again.

I felt the breakfast could have offered more, such as eggs or waffles. The towels were not particularly soft and rather thin. At 6 a.m. it sounded like the entire hotel had a wake up call, there was so much noise above me and in the hallway.
