Fairfield Inn by Marriott New York LaGuardia Airport/Astoria  

Hayley at reception was wonderfully. She gave very helpful answers to all my questions and printed directions for me to get where I wanted to go. The area (in Astoria) is safe and I felt perfectly at ease walking there at night.

The breakfast was great. Staff extremely friendly. Free transportation to and from the subway stop was awesome!

The staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The shuttle to the subway station was really convenient and it only took 20 minutes to get to Times Square by subway. Overall a great stay.

For nyc area, this was relatively affordable. Pleasant walk through residential neighborhood to some excellent Greek, Italian, and Middle East restaurants. Navigating the subway system (for a couple of rookies) was made easier by the hotel- provided map.

Subway/train was about 1/2 mile away, I think their website claims 'a block away.' They had a shuttle available, but who likes waiting around for one? Our window view was a concrete wall, eight feet away. By craning our necks we got a view of a corner of a parking lot and a dumpster.

Shuttle service responsiveness not being tuned in to weather conditions, knowledge off airport pick up areas and timing ( kept us waiting in cold windy conditions in airport hotel pick zone for an hour) room size too small for the price and location economics.

I had a very awful experience because we were in 4 people. I had booked a room for 4 people, but they gave me a room with only 1 bed. The front desk attendant said it was not the hotel's responsibility since it was booked through Booking.com, but neither the ad nor the confirmation email mentioned the room had 1 bed only. After a lot of insistence, they moved us to a double bed room for 2 days, but then they moved us back to the single bed room. I had to insist a lot again to have a small portable bed in that room (initially, the attendant said the hotel did not have extra beds, but another employee easily provided one). Conclusion: although the room and amenities are good, the reservation and front desk services are poor and completely unreliable, since they do not take responsibility on what is sold by 3rd parties. We had a very bad experience there.

Had to change plans at the last minute; previously stayed at Fairfields but this was not very good. It was by far the smallest room ever; my dorm in college was larger. On second day I retuned to hotel after 11:00pm to find my room not cleaned ; no clean towels or even any toiletries. I called the desk and someone brought me 4 bath towels and that was it. Somehow, I suppose that was supposed to make it all better. I never heard anything; no compensation off my bill or anything. Not very happy!

очень холодно в ванной комнате. если окна на улицу, шумно, особенно беспокоят сирены. на завтрак нет смысла даже ходить. при заселении на карточке заблокировали депозит больше, чем сама стоимость номера за сутки.

La atención, la limpieza y comodidad.

Habitacion Muy chica No esta a la altura de lo que muestran y/o describen en la pagina. Es un "hotelito"

Conveniente ubicacion. Excelente servicio de traslados al metro. Tiene servicio gratuito de storage para las maletas despues de hacer checkout para esperar la hora del vuelo.

Desayuno puede mejorar.

J'ai apprécié la navette,le parking et surtout la grande gentillesse et surtout sa disponibilité de Haytey.

Nous avions réservé une chambre pour trois et surprise en arrivant ,pas de 3eme lit ou de sofa ni meme un lit roulant.Notre fille a du dormir par terre la première nuit.Haytey était très embétée pour nous ,surtout quand je lui ai montré l'hotel sur le site de booking qui proposait bien une chambre pour 3.Véritablement scandaleux!!!

Very Bad!!!非常糟糕的酒店。酒店很小。房间极小，和网站宣传不一致，网站上该房型图片有沙发，可是实际房间只有一张床- ，已经占据了整个房间- ，根本没有沙发，也没有放沙发的位置。网站介绍这个酒店提供无线网络，可是根本不能用，信号非常微弱，大厅- 也一样，耽误了我的重要事情。前台服务态度很- 差。卫生间很简陋，沐浴时污水四溢。我投诉，该酒店提供的设施与Booking网站宣传不符，我要求索赔。-

Een goed verzorgd ontbijt in de prijs van de kamer inbegrepen. Gratis parking voor de wagen. Gratis en heel punctuele shuttle naar dichtstbijzijnde metrostation en naar de luchthaven.

Basement room was like a dungeon. Seating area was a chair in the corner.
