Score from 352 reviews Very good
Lovely helpful staff, great location close to Michigan, buses, trader joes, cheap as well as nicer restaurants. Nice little room, clean and tidy and newly refitted. Breakfast each day was great and included in the tariff. I also liked being able to get a cup of tea any time from the breakfast room. Coffee making in the room for the coffee drinkers.
The fire brigade came and did a test at 5am, the noise in our room was so loud and continous: There was nothing the hotel could do and safety first BUT horrible for us. Front desk was very sweet but hotel full and nothing could be done. Perhaps if you know they are coming make sure 614 empty that morning?
Proximity to shopping and restaurants
Breakfast room too small for the amount of guests. We ate standing in the hallway in a corner.
- Helpful staff
Exceptional location Excellent breakfast included
Ugly, stained carpeting Room right across from elevator
The Hotel has excellent location , two blocks from Mag. Mile. This is the best feature. The pick up points of Big Bus and Grey Hound are five minutes walk. Navy Pier is 10 minutes. Cheese Cake factory, and most of the restaurants are at a walking distance. Hotel provides unlimited cups of tea and coffee, drinking water and snacks at the lounge to the guests
We did not have a refrigerator in our room
Prompt response to our needs. Location was great, close to everything. The service was outstanding and the room views were amazing.
Nothing, everything was good.
Enjoyed the great breakfast offered. The room was very clean and we were never disturbed.
The location was excellent for walking to everything we wanted to see. Parking was expensive, but since we only had to do it once it wasn't an issue.
The rooms were very small. Our room was facing the street. We were not aware that there would be construction all night during our stay. This wouldn't have been much of an issue if the beds were even semi comfortable. They were loud and very hard.
With a family, breakfast at the hotel is very handy. The front desk staff was very helpful with suggestions and making reservations for me. Nice quiet, comfortable setting.
Very clean and nice place
It was a great experience! Perfect location
Location and staff great.
Room smelled smokey, beds uncomfortable, breakfast area very crowded
Staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice that breakfast was included.
Walls were thin so could sometimes hear people in the next room.
Location, Location, Location! Walked to the Navy Pier. Took a bus just two blocks away to get to the museums. Two blocks off Michigan Ave and all the shops. Beds were very comfortable. Very clean. Breakfast was great! wonderful selections. Very family friendly. Have loud, very energetic twin two year olds and not one person gave us a disapproving look (staff nor guests). Staff very friendly and helpful. Plan on staying again when we come back to Chicago.
would have been nice to have a fridge in the room (we had a standard two double bed room). everything else..perfect!
We were in Chicago for the birth of our grandson. We drove through the night and were going to be camped out at the hospital for several hours. We hoped to check in a bit early to drop our bags and freshen up during the wait. They were great and helped us out. Meant a lot, we will be back!
close to downtown
parking, size of the suite was smaller than expected for 4 adults and 1 infant
cafe da manha quarto
Location was great, breakfast was great and room was comfortable.
Parking fees were astronomical.
Room was very clean - our housekeeper Luisa did an amazing job. Desk staff was very helpful with directions and safe deposit box. Door man kept watch for our shuttle to the airport to arrive.
I would have liked a pool or hot tub.
Loved the decor and the location was perfect. The breakfast was excellent but busy!!
A tour us was booked for us and some details about utilizing the tour were not clearly explained by staff. Just a misunderstanding but a lite disconcerting .
The location was great with great eateries along the road. The roomwas comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was good and it is included in the room rate!
The aircond was noisy and it's difficult to control the temperature. At times the room got quite warm. The staff at the reception should have informed us that they will charging a deposit to my credit card for any room damages when I was checking in. I didnt know until I had a text from the credit card company.
Staff. ALL were friendly. Leo at the Front Desk, and Jennifer (I think, who was assistant manager, at breakfast) was very cordial with all, although busy. She lives in Oak Park if Jennifer was not her name.
1. Location 2. Overall friendly and helpful staff
1.Outdated accommodations, esp. bathroom; no counter space at all 2. No closet 3.Cramped room 4. Extremely expensive parking ($55 per day)
Really enjoyed my two day stay. The breakfast was very good (nice coffee, blueberry muffins, make your own waffles), the room was comfortable and the hotel was well situated for exploring the city.
