Fairfield Inn by Marriott JFK Airport  

We only stayed for the night as there was too long a lay-over to stay at JFK to connect to next flight. It was convenient due to shuttle service to JFK, and had a restaurant that was open late so we could get a good meal!

Weren't there long enough to not like anything about it!

Convenient location for travelling via JFK

The room was very clean, it seemed to be updated recently! Shuttle drivers were nice.

Loud neighbors!! I know it's not hotels fault. Asked specifically not to be put near the road!! Fail!!! Room fronted the road. Please listen when a request is made. But, it was not as loud as I thought it would be. Still We were disappointed

The van was waiting for me a the shuttle pick-up location. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, the room was clean, quiet, and cool. The restaurant food was excellent at dinner. The breakfast bar was well stocked, fresh, and easy to use. The van back to the airport was on time and quick.

The hotel is conveniently placed for an over night stay prior to a flight in or out of New york through jfk Airport I cannot see another use for this hotel.

I thought that the pricing of this hotel was based soley on its location to jfk Airport. In another location say towards the centre of the city the pricing could probably be justified. As it is it was about $60 over priced.

Everything: location, bed, room size, excellent restaurant, attractive hotel in and out, nice reception area

Somewhat noisy

Facilities restaurant, wifi, drinks/snacks all convenient. Room, bed linen and bathroom all clean and orderly. Convenient pickup and drop off timings to airport.

Not cheap but where is in New York.

Small rooms they think a king rm big enough for 2 adults and 3kids....all vending machines were crap, but they had stuff in the lobby

Staff were excellent. Requested a late check out and without hesitation was told no problem and no extra charge. As soon as I got to my room I received a call from reception to see if I was satisfied with the room and if there was anything I needed. This was definately a bonus as I have stayed at many hotels before and was never called from reception within 5 minutes of my arrival. Hotel offers free shuttle to the airport which is excellent.

Nice facility. It is being upgraded with new carpets... Shuttle to JFK was fast and convenient.

There was some noise if you plan to sleep late from construction but this should be done shortly. Also you will need to valet park as parking is very limited.

The shuttle bus only starts to run at 12:30 to go to the Green Acres Mall. There should be early drop offs.

Clean room, clean bed and the shower was great, parking was good , security was good, do your self a favour get some one who can meet and greet in a positive way, you pay for what you get you have a gold mine hear just sort the staff out and get happy , happy is nice, happy nice people attract happy nice pear, bad unhappy people attract un happy bad people,

Front desk was a un happy experience , I can rise above it, if this is the man that owns the business and he doesn't give a shit, he is sure just the best man for the job. You have a goldmine hear tidy the front of house, put a happy person on the desk and bingo, you pay for what you get, and this is just ace for that, I could give you 100% occupancy if you just changed the front of house.

This hotel offers free shuttle service to and from the hotel. Wifi/internet access is complimentary. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Ideal for an overnight stay.

Rooms are small and require refurbishment. Not within walking distance to the subway - taxi fare around 15 dollars for a trip to the subway station.

The hotel has an on-site rstaurant, though overpriced, but serving great breakfast for a traveller on a go. The shuttle service is impeccable.

Typical of JFK hotels, be prepared to be awaken in the middle of the night by guests arriving at that time and making noise with their heavy bags and I-don't--care-you-are sleeping voices. Also, if your room faces the highway, there will be trucks passing literally within 15 feet from you pillow and, occasionally, police and ambulance sirens yelling around.
