we had an excellent stay at fairfield inn near jfk for one night,location near to the airport,within 10 minutes even in traffic,airport shuttle on time.breakfast was very good could not fault it at all.a lot of other new york hotels should follow the example.well done fairfield will stay again. the only thing i could say to be very picky is the room was a bit small. |

The location for JFK Airport is excellent, by using the Air Train to Federal Circle, from the Terminal, then the Hotel shuttle Minibus to the Hotel. The Hotel shuttle could also be used to get from the Hotel to the the Long Island Rail Road/Subway station at Jamaica, merely 5mins drive away. |

Very helpful staff. Suggested we return our car that evening, rather than 4:00 a.m. the next morning, then take shuttle back to Inn and shuttle for flight next morning. Neighborhood. |

it was simply a nearby bed on 5 hour stopover between arriving at midnight and leaving at 5:30 in the morning for JFK. I even slept in my clothes....probably it was a bit too nice for my purpose. |

The staff was nice and the room was great for the price and proximity to the airport. It was spotless, modern and comfortable with a huge bed and a flat screen TV. It was quiet too - we didn't hear any noise through the walls, in the hallway, or from the (very) nearby airport (we were on the 2nd floor at the back of the hotel). The included breakfast was very ample with make-your-own Belgian waffles, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, cereal, bagels, toast, etc. Check in and check out were both quick and easy. The shuttles also ran on time. I did a lot of research of reviews of area hotels before booking and this one was regarded most highly and I have to say I agree after our stay! there was an active drug corner down the street, so if you go out of the hotel in search of food in the evening, go before it gets too late/dark and try not to look like a completely clueless tourist. It's best to head under the bridge to the Burger King or eat in the hotel restaurant. Also we just took the money we needed in our pockets and nothing else (no cell phones, etc.) rather than carrying a wallet and purse outside. Also, the hotel should provide some kind of numbering or ticketing system to organize the boarding of passengers onto the shuttle, just so that it is first come, first served. |

I just stayed there for short time, but could enjoy very relaxing, comfortable time there and wish I could have been there a bit more. Kind staff, excellent facilities better than expectation, enough amenity goods, cleaness, free transport to airport...everything was perfect. |

Airport Shuttle Service, Continental Breakfast and Dinner Services, Breakfast Timing (starts early morning), Internet Access, Cleanliness There is still scope for improvement in case of giving assistance in luggage handling while checking in and checking out mainly due to hotel design. It is difficult to check in or check out with more luggage without any assistance. On 16th August,09 while we had checked in after long hours flight nobody was there to assist us and we had faced problem as we were travelling with lot of luggage. |

Friendly hotel staff. Kitchen prepared some quick food for us even though they were practically closed for the night. Bar staff who served this food was very good. Food was very good also. Shuttle going from airport to hotel at night was not good. It didn't run very often, the ride was bumpy. The driver threw around the baggage and he drove too fast. Also a towel in the bathroom had blood on it. |

Fabulous shuttle driver from the airport. Amazing front desk staff. They woke us up, opened the breakfast room early and got us to JFK in plenty of time for our 7am flight. Will definitely stay here again. |
