Printer couldn't be used
I loved the location of this hotel. It was in walking distance to resturants, bars, subway,Bryant;s park, Macy's, Times Square. You could see the lights of the Empire state building really close at nights, got some really great pics.Within my third day in New York I was able to move around on my own at times and this was my first visit there. Breakfast was good and staff greeted us warmly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone ( even if it's your first visit like me)
When travelling I tend to pack "light" and because of the length of my stay I wished there was the use of a laundry for guest.
Amazing is all I can say
We were in NYC to move our daughter into her dorm at F.I.T. Had a dolly & bunch of empty bins that the staff at the hotel was gracious enough to store for the remainder of our stay, so we didn't need to cram them into our room.
Only complaint - I couldn't apply this stay to Marriott points, due to booking thru Booking.com.
Location suited me personally. Staff was helpful.
Very expensive as most hotels in NY, overpriced, but not the worst. Lot of noise from the street.
Location, room, large bed
Everyday same ordinary breakfast, would like more healthy options, wifi sometimes unstable.
Very clean and modern. Breakfast was a nice bonus.
Great location next to subway stop Friendly and very helpful staff Free breakfast and excellent wifi
Small room but in NY standard and comfortable
Very easy walk from Penn Station and several met or stops. Ideal base for exploring New York.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. They dealt with things promptly and were only too happy to help. Location was excellent.
The first room we checked into was dirty - stained bed sheets and dirty marks on the carpet. (However when I mentioned this to a member of staff, we were allocated a different room without hesitation). Unfortunately the new room wasn't much better.
All except my complaints.
Woken up too many times by fire alarm testing and chambermaid. Difficulty adding onto an existing reservation.
Times no hot water or tea at breakfast. But it was supplied when asked.
The staff were amazing and friendly. The rooms were also good and comfortable and clean. The city view was always a pleasure to see at sunrise and in the evenings.I loved the gym, it's small but at least the facility is there for fitness. The location is really good and practical. Tea and coffee was available at all times. Over all a good place to stay.
The price I got for the room was higher than other hotels there. I've been to many hotels in Europe, and SA, and this was the first time I experienced having breakfast in disposable plates and cups. I expected better for the price I paid, I don't know, is it a trend in all American hotels? The breakfast was also with limited choice but good.
excellent breakfast included
mattress & pillows on the soft side. I stayed at this hotel quite a bit when it first opened and was very impressed with the bedding.
Staff warm , friendly and "very helpful"! Very good breakfast! Also love having coffee in room and the "pitchers" of cold water always available in the breakfast room.
Room small but adequate. Very poor lighting. Shower great, good hot water and water pressure. Unfortunately there is a tendency for water to leak out and wet the floor.
the international phone of the cost in room crazy price, too bad!!1
staff was friendly and helpful.
all was fine
It is a new building, free WiFi and breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was the same each day which was fine because you get eggs, sausage, cereal, bagels, muffins, juice, coffee etc. It's located in the flower district so when you leave in the morning you're greeted by beautiful plants and flowers. Parking is off site but reasonably priced for NY.
It's a 15 minute walk to Times Square. At night it's fine because of the amount of people but when you turn down 23W where the hotel is on it's kind of dark and not a lot of people which made us a bit nerves but it's only 2 minutes to the door. It would be better if that street had more lighting.
Clean and tidy. Good location!
the location, cleans, quiet, price.
It is not enough room for the desk, the breakfast was not enough for all the customers, the wi-fi has to be reseted every time is in use.
I liked the location and the complimentary breakfast.
The room was very small. It was just enough room for a suitcase. The room was supposed to sleep four. With luggage, four people would not fit in that space at all!! Thank goodness, it was only two of us!
Staff was available at all times and helped us find anything we asked about, I believe it was Brittney that went above and beyond for us, definetly would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable safe good location in the city. Room on the small size but it's New York, you shouldn't spend to much time in it anyway!
Room little small
Breakfast was good. Bed and pillows were perfect. Street was interesting in days
Room was to small for 4 No bus service for activities
We had a very clean and quiet room, plus we received good service from the friendly and helpful staff.
The smallness of the hotel and the ease of getting to your room and leaving. Elevators very fast and efficient. Friendly staff.
The street was frequently lined by smelly trash and quite narrow sidewalk with all the plants and such. Creepy at night.
