Good location for our purposes. Average free breakfast, nice dining space. Room faced away from street and was quiet after club noise ended...
Room was as small as possible. "Extra bed" was very narrow fold-out affair. We had to make it up ourselves after we had to request linens (for which we were charged $21) and an extra towel. With bed folded out it was almost impossible to get into the bathroom. Corridor almost too small for two people to pass. If we'd had to spend any time in this place we'd have gone crazy. We overpaid by booking too far in advance! Thanks, booking.com. Never again.
Staff was AWESOME !!!
It's close to everything! Had really no issues getting around. Bed was comfortable for the most part. I just wish the room was a tad bit bigger but overall, it was great.
Very comfortable bed. King size was perfect to share with a friend; it's so big that it was like having my own bed. Rooms are clean and modern. The breakfast had a larger selection than I was expecting which included eggs and sausage. Staff very friendly.
We stayed for 8 nights in two rooms. After the first night me and my friend moved to a different room and forgot a brand new shirt in the room. It was lost somehow. After 7 nights one couple checked out and forgot a bag full of presents in the room. We immediately called the reception. They asked some staff members with no results. They waited for the maid who cleaned our room to get back the next day and promised to update us on that matter. She said that she threw it away (I guess, if I can believe her). This is unacceptable by any hotel standard. You don't throw away visitor's belongings whatsoever. You should respect their belongings and move it to the lost & found section. I am very upset and won't recommend this hotel to any of my friends. I don't trust this hotel and the staff working there. Overall, a very bad experience.
Good location. Next to two subway stations. Breakfast wasn't that good, but it was nice having the option to have breakfast inside the hotel. Room size was fair. Value of money.
Staff not helpful with parking.
Two bathrooms. Breakfast and breakfast room. Helpful staff.
Only one upright chair and rather uncomfortable couch. Bedroom cramped and no drawers for storage.
Front desk staff Free Breakfast View over the florists below and the Empire State building Two subway stations nearby Penn station nearby
Couldn't stay an extra week
Location is the best feature about the hotel. It is well located within Manhattan whether you want to visit Lower Manhattan, the Upper Sides, the Meat Packing District or Greenwich Village. A metro station and Penn Station are also nearby.
Rooms do not have a view and are quite dark. Space is little and bathrooms are small. Also the wifi has a weird "three devices" limitation even for a room where four people are intended to stay.
Location, helpfull staff, view from our room, fast internet and quality of the coffee at breakfast. Had a great time!
Poor breakfast for european standards.
location was great and close to everything. staff was friendly and knowledgable.
Breakfast eggs were over salted and almost unedible. bathroom was small but servicable.
Very good breakfast buffet. central location good wi fi 200 m from jc penny and 300m from maceys
Small double room with small beds but they changed the room for a bit larger room the next day street a bit dodgy
A good location, clean rooms, helpful staff...
Nothing serious but the false fire alarm.. But that also proves their system can wake everyone up in case of a real emergency, which is good from that angle :)
Great staff. Good location Breakfast Rooms are renovated
The neiberhood very busy. Very small rooms, good for one or two
The location was good. It Kept me close to my office for work the next day.
Oh boy... There was a terrible terrible oppressive smell of marijuana coming from one of the adjacent rooms or through the ventilation ducts. It kept me up all night. The room is very small compared to the Times Square location where I've stayed three times so far. I LOVE that hotel! I had booked myself to have breakfast at the Chelsea hotel, but decided to have breakfast delivered instead. Eh, you win some and you lose some.
Comfortable room And breakfast room
I do not wish to have my name used, or to get emails!
I had a medical emergency which necessitated my staying an additional period of time. The staff was very supportive to my wife during the period of time I was in the hospital.
Our first NY experience was quite good, the location of hotel was perfect, it was in the flower district - midtown, the staff very helpful (especially qwana at the reception desk, who was incredibly lovely and friendly) Overall the hotel was good, I cannot say anything about the breakfast as we did not try it during our 9 day stay. Wifi was perfectly working even in rooms. "King" size bed was not really kind size but very comfortable, we slept very good! Everything for sightseeing and shopping was in walking distance, subway station (red / yellow line) just few meters away in case you want to go up- / downtown / brooklyn. Many restaurants around the block. Good place for short / long trips IF you are not going to spend too much time in the hotel!
The rooms were very tiny, we have never experienced such a small room before, the room was looking back to a yard, next to a block, so there was no real sunlight in the room. Also, room was very, very dark which was very disturbing. Hotel is only recommended for those who are not staying much in the room, but rather spending it outside.
Staff was friendly, breakfast OK, newspapers useful, location is very good, close to Broadway, Fashion District, and not far from Central Park, overall good value for your money, I would come again.
Room a little bit small Water leaked through shower door Elevators slow at times We got a room looking to other buildings, not a special view.
The location is great. Very close to subway line..and walking distance to times square. Room was on the small side but that's normal for NY..Tokyo...London. Rooms was clean and bathroom was ok..Although shower curtain was stained/old/short. Breakfast was adequate for a days start.
A bit expensive for the small rooms.
Our view was 28th Street which is normal city sidewalks with normal stuff stacked around at night. Every morning it TRANSFORMS to be absolutely beautiful! Try to get a room that looks on to 28th. Mornings are magical. I won't spoil the surprise by saying why.
A/C adjustment was finicky.
Everything. Secure smoking facility.
Sometimes during day the coffee flasks were empty
Location is very good, staff is friendly, bed is comfortable, room is at reasonable size, quiet & very clean, elevator is fast. We really liked our stay and would definitely stay at the same hotel during our next visit to NYC.
Excellent location. Rooms in the back are very quiet. Beds are comfortable.
No restaurant, expensive - but normal for the area. Be nice if they sold snacks and drinks on premises like some of the other hotels do.
