Minutes from Newark International Airport and a short drive from New York City attractions, this all-suite hotel features free 24-hour airport shuttle service along with many of today's modern...
Score from 361 reviews Very good
Located less than 1 block from the 28th Street subway station, this Manhattan hotel features free Wi-Fi and a large breakfast buffet. Madison Square Park is a 5-minute walk away.
Score from 542 reviews Very good
A-Z everything was good.
Thrre should be fridge in room.
Relatively cheap and spacious rooms
Even though it's close to the airport the localization is horrible. It's a real nightmare to get there with a rented car. Don't even try without good gps. Another thing is that breakfast are just awful, not to mention that they are served on plastic plates...
Close to airport
We had just gone to bed. Just about to fall asleep. That's when the fire alarms started gong off and keep going off for about an hour. By the time they fixed that trouble I was wide awake and could not go to sleep. So I turn on the TV and watched about 20 mins of a program. Then the cable/sat went off the air. So it took me 2 more hours to fall asleep. So we had less that a full night sleep. We also felt rushed to check out also. There 100% guarantee was BS
They didn't accept my corporate card, but I stayed in same Fairfield Inn & Suites Chinatown and they did accept it
Nice hot tub and good shuttle service
No bar or food available, and nothing near by , you had to walk to another hotel to get something to eat and drink !
Nice hotel and staff. Breakfast was included and fantastic! Good value.
They charged us ten dollars extra for each of 2 rooms we stayed the second night. Some half baked reason that rates fluctuate daily. I can see on a holiday or weekend butthis was two nights back to back during the week. Not an honest business practice. Seems to be the trend everwhere today. Slip in an extra fee somewhere to increase profit without really givung more...
Get a taxi, don't bother with the shuttle bus. Breakfast is a scrum. Room clean and tidy. Fire alarm woke us at 5am after arriving at 1am. Any port in a storm, would probably look elsewhere in future.
Everything was good. Nothing to complain. Front desk was friendly. Breakfast, clean beds, clean bathrooms.
Entrance right by the exit. If you do not focus you can loose the entrance. a bit dangerous to enter from freeway.
Eight people arrived at the front desk at once at 1:00 am on 7/31. The beautiful and friendly woman at the desk got us all settled quickly, which was greatly appreciated! A young man was helpful as well. Nice job!
The pricing was gd expect I had to pay for parking which kinda rub me the wrong way. Nicely staffed in the morning and can't beat free breakfast.
Had to pay for parking which was very unusual.
Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok.
We had to paid for parking. Room was small for a family of 4. The was not cleaned. Hallway carpet was dirty. We didn't enjoy our stay and wouldn't recommend it.
close to airport, comfortable rooms
limited time for breakfast before early check-in (no breakfast boxes given)
It was close to our final destination.
We always stay someplace with a pool so the kids can swim. The pool was very small, there was 3 other children in the pool when we arrived and once my 3 children got in there wasn't room for them to swim. Floor around the pool was very slippery one of my children fell just walking over to our chair, there were no towels at the pool. We couldn't find any place to sit down and get a meal with the children. The only place we found was a steak house (after driving for 20 mins. and finding nothing) and it was $18.00 each to get the salad bar. Once we left the Hotel to eat we had a very difficult time getting back in to the hotel. We had to circle around and come back in from the other side. This was not easy not knowing the area and fighting the airport traffic not to mention the extra 15 mins it added to our time getting back from our meal. Hotel staff was not very friendly or helpful. I asked desk clerk if she could suggest a place for us to take the kids to eat a balanced meal and she said there is nothing but next door cafe. You can get snacks or something light and they will deliver or you can walk over there then just turned and went about her business. The housekeeping staff on the other hand was very friendly, polite and courteous. Would not stay there again.
We had booked a suite but when we arrived they only had a single room for us with 3 in the room. We expected a bed and a pull out couch. My daughter had to sleep on the floor.
the fact that the staff was obliging
the room is not big enough especially the bathroom. the location is noisy because of the closeness to the road.
Finding the property was difficult. More signs need to be employed and these signs need to be much bigger.

Staff not too helpful and hotel very difficult to find
They provided a lite snack for early travelers .
Very very nice hotel.
Disgusting smell in the room.
The breakfast was really good. The frontdesk staff was helpful.
We changed our room because the air conditioning was out of order, we were lucky because we hadnt unpacked our suitcases.
La ubicación, las habitaciones , el desayuno!!!
I was well pleased with the area and total cleanliness. The children especially enjoyed the pool. And we all thought the breakfast was thorough and appetizing.
Location at Newark airport. Swimming pool and gym. Spacious room (2 double beds); large tv; coffee-maker; tons of towels; good work space; free internet. Reception staff very helpful. Lovely breakfast spread; complimentary coffee and tea available 24/7 in lobby; snacks and light meals available for purchase in addition to vending machines.
Nothing - all good :-) Taxi fare from the airport is high - 18 dollars - when the trip is just a matter of driving out of the airport and round to the hotel on the access road. (Compare this with the current flat rate of 25 dollars for a cab from Manhattan all the way to jfk.)
Big rooms. Clean. Close to airport.
US1-9 is not a good position for accessing car rental returns at Newark or for people coming up from the south. Insufficient choice of snacks considering there are no restaurants unless you drive out. People making a lot of noise in the corridors at unacceptable times at night.
