The location was perfect, bar
The breakfast and other hotel amenities were nice. Rooms clean and tidy. Wi-fi reception was good. The complimentary hotel shuttle to the convention centre and union station was a nice surprise (the Hotel is difficult to reach otherwise, except by taxi)
1) The staff at front desk borders on the incompetent. They kept charging my credit card for unknown reasons and then canceling those charges in a few hours, this happened 4 times during my 8 day stay. When I asked for an explanation, the front desk staff were unable to give a simple straightforward answer as to why this was happening. 2) Now I'm not a native speaker so I don't expect the queen's English form everyone, but these people were near to incomprehensible at times. They mumbled, spoke with heavy local accents and just digressed into irrelevant topics that you didn't inquire about.
Free breakfast, wifi, shuttle.
Breakfast Food-SO many variety! Bed and Pillow-So Soft and Comfortable Smell of Place is so Clean and Fresh Fireplace is so warm Kitchen and atmosphere so warm and inviting Quiet Floors Friendly Staff
Places to Eat Around Kind of hard to access hotel
Extremely comfortable beds and pillows! Shuttle was convenient & driver was nice. Loved the indoor pool & hottub. The parking is a lot cheaper than most hotels in area. $17 + tax.
After 9:30am you can't even get coffee. That's a bit early to stop coffee & breakfast, (in my opinion). There is a coffee maker in rm tho'. At least leave fridge unlocked so we can get a yogurt before checkout.
Location to Echo Stage
I thought I got a descent rate for the room and that everything was going to be included until the man at the lobby told me that it would be an additional 15$ to park my car on their lot. I don't like unexpected charges -1.5 stars in my books
It was clean, with a friendly staff an comfortable.
I don't like paying parking when I know they did not charge for prking before. he ates were less before.
-hotel is close to McDonalds, KFC and supermarket where you buy all you needs. -room very clean, room service is perfect.
-police and surveillance sirens all day n night. -breakfast with paper plates and plastic cups is not suitable for any hotels.
Complained 3 times on every day of our stay. It was impossible to watch television. On top of price , charged usd 15$ for parking which was free at neighboring hotel.
I left my new smart phone on the bed, but did not notice it was missing until we pulled into a gas station very nearby. My husband called the number to no avail, so I decided it must still be in the room. We rushed back to the motel, got the key to our room and as we were walking the hallway to our room, the maid held it out to me. She knew what I had forgot since it was on the bed ringing. What a lifesaver she was and good thing I noticed right away that it was missing, since we were headed for my son's home in Richfield, N.C. Barbara, Kansas City, MO.
The shuttle service to union station. Decent breakfast and affordable parking.
The pool was extremely hot and hence it was rather unpleasant to have a bath. Hopefully, this is easily fixable.
The swimming pool was too hot to swim. I found it strange. It should be cool water for swimming pool.
the staff was excellent! accommodations were great! we had a wonderful time!
driving in washington was difficult
The beds were comfortable and the facility was really nice. I was very pleased.
There was a lack of parking at the hotel which caused a big problem, especially after paying for a parking pass. The shower was also weird, the head clearly needed fixing.
Not to far from Washington's National Mall and Dulles airport. Clean, good bed and nice breakfast.
Within walking distance only fast-food restaurants available.
Staff and breakfast
Fabulous staff, great location!! Can't fault this hotel. Everything was fantastic! Staff were great, lovely breakfast, great having a free shuttle to the Union Station. Lovely big rooms, comfy beds and nice toiletries!! Would totally recommend :)
Free shuttle free breakfast . Neatness everyone polite.
The intersection where hotel was located. Hard to cross streets to get to eatery. Beds sunk in. Overall was ok.
everything is great, staff gave us all the info we needed, rooms are big and clean, breakfast is good recommended for car travellers because it's close to the highway exit and offers a good parking spot there's a free shuttle to the center but also taking a taxi is ok
humor of staff at front desk everyone need see somebody like her on the begining of the day to realize a smile can change u whole day in matter of no time...
i didnt spend enough time to know more :)
Staying where they truly care about your visit. Free shuttle, fee breakfast, free internet, free smiles and plenty of good mornings
It was comfortable and the staff were polite and readily attentive to our needs. They were particularly helpful (and apologetic) when we reported an infestation of ants in our from and quickly moved us to another room. Rooms were of a reasonable size and comfortable. The shuttle into the city centre was useful. We like the National Arboretum right next to the hotel.
The location of the hotel is a weak point. Although there are several similar hotels in the vicinity, the area is about two miles outside Washington DC is fairly run down. There are two or three gas stations right outside (but two of them on separate occasions had police and fire services called to them during our week's stay). There are no supermarkets close by. On the day we left, we discovered that the complimentary airport shuttle mentioned on the website when we booked and in the information book in our room did not exist. The hotel booked a taxi for us and told us the fare was around $30-35. The car that arrived was not a taxi - no meter or number - but more of a chauffeur-driven car, which cost us $80.
