    Very good staff but they act a little too stiff, clean, location is close to things but not in the middle of all the tourist activity, quiet inside

    A little overpriced, no pool, have to pay for internet access which is ridiculous in this day and age

    the staff are very helpful located next to the lake but far from center

    location was far from city center. break/ breakfast hall was a disaster. the hotel could not provide first hand travel needs like an adapter.

    Loved the location, facility, and staff. This was our second time to stay there while in Boston. We both enjoyed using the excellent work-out facility as well.

    Location by the water Roomy space Very walkable to attractions, restaurants

    Room wasn't cleaned when we returned at 3PM We called front desk to ask housekeeping to come and they said "right away" but when nobody came for 30 min we called to say we'd be napping and not to come...but then they sent someone at 5P who just walked in on us. We also called with requests and were told "right away" again, but nothing happened. We called after we left to report leaving something in the room. The front desk person said they'd check immediately and call us right back. Still waiting for that call 3 weeks later...

    The staff at this hotel is very gracious and hospitable. They know how to make their guests feel comfortable and will go out of way, (such as walking me to a location in hotel I was unfamiliar with). They are very prompt in terms of responding to issues that come up.

    The worst thing that occurred during my 2 night visit was the lack of hot water on the morning of my departure. I tried to take a shower at 9P (I know this is prime time), and had to settle for a sponge bath due to lack of hot water. I was staying in a large suite that cost about $800.00/nite. In this luxury class hotel, there was no hot water in the morning! Before I checked out, I filed this complaint with front desk. They just responded with grand indifference, a cheerful, "Oh, OK". What kind of response is that! The maid service was very good. However, the carpeting looked filthy, and the couch in living room, looked worn and shabby. The colors of maroon and camel were very Macho, I suppose they may have hidden some of the shabby detail.

    Great room, luxurious, good view, excellent location, and very helpful front desk. They went above and beyond! Free expresso in room.

    No pool, bellman a little pushy or hurried.

    The location of the Fairmount was perfect. Everything was in walking distance. The resturaunt was excellent.

    I wish I was not on the 1st floor. I had requested a water view room which I got, but is was obstructed bt plants and bushes. Not the real perfect view.

    The young woman Allison, I spoke to at the front desk after check in could not have been more accommodating. Our bathroom had no privacy shades and overlooked the entrance from the second floor. It was unacceptable. She was extremely polite and changed our room I immediately to an upgraded suite. The following day she checked on us to make sure we were satisfied with our stayterrific employee!

    We were very happy with the communication prior to our arrival, but even more pleasantly surprised once we arrived and were shown our beautiful room and amenities. The staff was exemplary from beginning to the very last moment of our stay!!

    Not one thing!!
