The beauty of the hotel The room and comfort of the bed The Location
The OAK room is SO different. Loved it the way it was in past.... Did NOT like the Check In Receptionist Hotel Staff attitude was condescending. You would call and complain about something "not working" (Keurig coffee machine) and they would blame it back on you "do you know how to use this machine?" The machine was BROKEN Not a good experience overall.
Great location. Beautiful hotel. Great service.
The hotel was beautiful and has a great location. The food in the diningroom was great and drinks in the lounge were comfortable. Used room service twice, very efficient. Ordered breakfast in room, also delicious.
The room was very small with no view, a little pricey for the amount of space.
Bed was comfy
Seemed like a renovated apartment building, small room and bathroom.
The onsite black labrador "Catie" won our daughter's heart. From the door staff to the concierge to everyone else, the staff blew away every other hotel during our stay. Even the breakfast manager remembered our names after the first day. Just brilliant. Perfect location.
Lobby was beautiful and the rooms were more updated than in many Fairmonts e.g. Toronto Royal York and Ottawa Chateau Laurier which have tired and small rooms.
I stayed on the gold floor, which is worth the extra. The lounge had complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and ever changing snacks all day long. The staff was amazing and the attention to detail astounding. Anything I used one day, there were two of them the next day in the room. Turn down service included turning the radio to a soothing classical station, and the 'chocolate' on your pillow was a 10 piece box of chocolates. The common areas bring to back to a bygone era of luxury and the rooms are contemporary and fresh. Spend the extra money and stay here!
Staff are so friendly , prim location , classic furniture , large lobby
Pets allowed inside the rooms , you can hear dog yapping while u sleep , no free wifi
Appearance of public areas, location, friendly & helpful attitude of hotel staff
Noise from next room's sanitary facilities.
Historic Hotel, great and comfortable rooms, breathtaking entry hall, nice personnel, the lovely blind dog in the lobby.
Price is high, no free wi-fi despite the price, extremely expensive phone calls from the hotel, breakfast not included in the price.
Location. Beautiful lobby. Excellent doormen and staff. Nicely decorated room.
On website room was described as either court yard or city view. The view from room was of heating and cooling piping. Not exactly a court yard view, from past experience. Told by staff that this view was considered a court yard room. Please call this a room with no view, not courtyard. Bathtub finish was wearing off.
Staff was extremely helpful and the room was comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
The front desk The bathroom The comfy bed The fact they allowed us to extent our check out time since our flight didn't fly out till later
It was expensive. It would be nice if there was a more reasonable restaurant within the hotel.
The hotel was very accommodating and upgraded my room and also allowed me in several hours earlier. Very comfortable.
The service and great location
The location of the hotel is awesome
Staff were not attentive to all requests, even small stuff as the hotel looks understaffed .. In such hotels, you'd expect staff manners that go with such 5 stars hotel in the way they greet costumers and attend to their needs .. This is not the case here, i observed this and confirmed it with another guest ... If you ask for change of room or whatever then they tell you we'll look for you but they never do that ... They got confused when i told them that my booking conditions included a free wifi and it took them 2 days to resolve this issue
It is the best location in Boston. Convenient to (within walking distance) shopping and restaurants area. And lets not forget the adorable dogs of Fairmont! They are a unique sihnature of the Fairmont.
The staff were not as accomodating as I would ecpected from a luxury hotel.
Best location, very clean and very nice staff
A little too old for my taste...
Location Friendly Staff
$550 for a room and then they charge you for wifi and breakfast not included
Cleanliness was the most weakness,
Very attentive staff, cleanliness and comfort of room.

Fairmont Gold. Excellent facility but pricey. Great location,
Accounting system is appalling. A mysterious charge appeared on our Visa account of $236 which we could not identify (nor could the staff!). Also, on getting home we discoverd our room charge had been debited to our Visa card twice (we are still in dispute on these matterswith Fairmont at time of writing). Very disappoiting and really spoilt what was otherwise a great stay. Beware !
