Location and staff
Concierge pointed us to many good restaurants, but one - Etta's - was a dog. Plus, way overpriced.
Kingsize comfy bed, beautiful hotel! Best location!
Parking 47$ however they take the car for you witch is nice! Maid open the door if my room whole i was a sleep an hour before checkout. Stuff of the hotel invistigate me if im the guest of the hotel while i was sitting in the lobby. Probbably because i look young or my cloths wasnt fancy.
Quality of room and staff. Workout facilities and pool. Restaurants. This is a beautiful hotel in a great location.
Small things like a complementary water in room or internet would have made the experience better. Very basic hotels with much fewer amenities offer these.
Hotel is beautiful and location is great. Everything was really nice. The concierge was very helpful and friendly.
The staff at the reception desk would not give me the password to the free lobby wifi. She said I needed to sign up for a loyalty program which I didn't need. I live on the east coast. I explained the staff gave me the password in the Terrace area. She said they are a different department. No wifi in the lobby in this day and age? Hmm.
Our young son was thrilled with the complimentary milk and cookies delivered to him by room service. Our suite was comfortable and reasonably spacious with a bed that offered a luxurious sleep. Turndown service covers the basics and that's it.
Marble beautiful rooms beautiful people
Luxuriously restored hotel. All staff were very courteous and dignified. We were always addressed by name when entering or exiting and even when placing a wake-up reminder.
We always wanted to pend the night here and for our 40th Anniversary we did and were not disappointed. Its a 1st class hotel and the room and the staff reflect that
the architecture is very impressive . service is great.
our room is a little noisy at night. we can hear traffic on the street from our hotel room.
Lovely evening in Seattle. Great location.
A bit pricey but we splurged for New Years Eve.
This hotel is beautiful! Location is perfect. Didn't even have to drive, was able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Room was very nice and comfortable. Loved that the coffee pot was the individual pods.
The only thing I didn't like was the $47 a day to park. Yikes!
The staff were consistently attentive to providing great service
I didn't find a good breakfast option in the hotel but many were nearby.
Delicious dinner at Shuckers - seafood was amazing. Room so comfortable and location was perfect to walk to everything in downtown Seattle. Staff so friendly and helpful!
Sink and bath plugs did not fit properly so water had to be left running to shave
I loved it all although my wife was skeptical about staying there. As the first couple of days went by she started to fall in love. Staff was great always smiling and wanted to help. Our room was always clean and made everyday. I was very impressed. we definately made a great decision staying at the Fairmont and will be staying anytime we are in Seattle. It is right in the middle of the city within walking distance to everything we wanted to go to.
I honestly don't have any bad complaints, it was a great time and the fairmont definately made our stay wonderful.
Went out of their way to give us a great experience.
This place was like being in a movie, every aspect was immaculate
Understandably there where alot of function concurring at the time of our stay and as guest we couldn't get into many of the hotel restaurants and we left to look after ourselves.
The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The pillows divine - you know how some hotels miss out on this? And the ambience of the hotel so pleasant, giving the feeling of comfort and luxury.
The Sunday buffet breakfast was disappointing for us. Fruit selection excellent but the scrambled eggs watery and tasteless. As a vegetarian I would have liked some ethnic choices? My companion, who is not a veggie, felt the same.
Lovely old hotel, brought up to do date with just the right touch. Keurig and liquid coffee CREAM in the room- THANK YOU! You can remove items from the minibar without charge to use for your stuff. Overall, staff are friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable. Kathy at the Concierge and Cheyenne at the front desk especially.
There was a dog barking loudly across the hall from us on 1/2/15- staff did respond however they couldn't locate the owner for several hours. Dog stopped barking about 9/30pm so didn't interfere with sleep. Signal from TV kept breaking up at crucial points in several football games- NOT GOOD! I told staff but the problem persisted. Also, I asked for particular housekeeping (I left a verbal list with someone in HK- she wrote it down) to be done on 1/1/15. When we returned to our room in the evening, it wasn't done. I told Ralph at the front desk- i asked him for towels which were brought promptly. I'm cutting them slack on this visit- New Year's weekend and all, maybe all housekeeping staff didn't show up.
The room was amazing and so comfy!
