the architecture is very impressive . service is great.
our room is a little noisy at night. we can hear traffic on the street from our hotel room.
Lovely evening in Seattle. Great location.
A bit pricey but we splurged for New Years Eve.
This hotel is beautiful! Location is perfect. Didn't even have to drive, was able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Room was very nice and comfortable. Loved that the coffee pot was the individual pods.
The only thing I didn't like was the $47 a day to park. Yikes!
The staff were consistently attentive to providing great service
I didn't find a good breakfast option in the hotel but many were nearby.
Delicious dinner at Shuckers - seafood was amazing. Room so comfortable and location was perfect to walk to everything in downtown Seattle. Staff so friendly and helpful!
Sink and bath plugs did not fit properly so water had to be left running to shave
I loved it all although my wife was skeptical about staying there. As the first couple of days went by she started to fall in love. Staff was great always smiling and wanted to help. Our room was always clean and made everyday. I was very impressed. we definately made a great decision staying at the Fairmont and will be staying anytime we are in Seattle. It is right in the middle of the city within walking distance to everything we wanted to go to.
I honestly don't have any bad complaints, it was a great time and the fairmont definately made our stay wonderful.
Went out of their way to give us a great experience.
This place was like being in a movie, every aspect was immaculate
Understandably there where alot of function concurring at the time of our stay and as guest we couldn't get into many of the hotel restaurants and we left to look after ourselves.
The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The pillows divine - you know how some hotels miss out on this? And the ambience of the hotel so pleasant, giving the feeling of comfort and luxury.
The Sunday buffet breakfast was disappointing for us. Fruit selection excellent but the scrambled eggs watery and tasteless. As a vegetarian I would have liked some ethnic choices? My companion, who is not a veggie, felt the same.
Lovely old hotel, brought up to do date with just the right touch. Keurig and liquid coffee CREAM in the room- THANK YOU! You can remove items from the minibar without charge to use for your stuff. Overall, staff are friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable. Kathy at the Concierge and Cheyenne at the front desk especially.
There was a dog barking loudly across the hall from us on 1/2/15- staff did respond however they couldn't locate the owner for several hours. Dog stopped barking about 9/30pm so didn't interfere with sleep. Signal from TV kept breaking up at crucial points in several football games- NOT GOOD! I told staff but the problem persisted. Also, I asked for particular housekeeping (I left a verbal list with someone in HK- she wrote it down) to be done on 1/1/15. When we returned to our room in the evening, it wasn't done. I told Ralph at the front desk- i asked him for towels which were brought promptly. I'm cutting them slack on this visit- New Year's weekend and all, maybe all housekeeping staff didn't show up.
The room was amazing and so comfy!

Beautiful luxurious hotel -,friendly people and lots of privacy. The concierges were so nice
cleanliness and decor. efficiency and friendliness of staff.
We enjoyed the lobby social embiance. It was beautifully decorated. It had a vibrant atmosphere.
The location, comfort, ambiance and staff.
Coffee mate for a creamer, poor coffee in room, we were in Seattle for heaven's sale, why poor quality Vermont capsule coffee? Safe had not been wiped out for years, yuk
Location, comfort, friendly staff.
room service was too lengthy
Everything was absolutely beautiful I will definitely return for leisure
My hair dryer was not working
The Fairmont is non smoking. Yet someone smoked excessively to the point of causing an allergic reaction. I had to move rooms which was an inconvenience and I forgot newly purchased toiletries in my room. As I was travelling with pets, this was an inconvenience. Non-smoking means non-smoking. Not "well they have to pay extra for their room."
"Grand old hotel" flavour. HIstoric. Beautiful Christmas decorations in the lobby. Piano bar in the lobby, and lots of people having drinks there, so it felt fun.
