Seafood and service at the restaurant was excellent. Convenient walking distance to downtown shopping and light rail.
Cost of drinks and snacks in room.
Safe, not anxious and crowded, but calming and comfortable--with class. Snack food good
Uncomfortable chairs in lounge area
The service was fantastic. Rooms very comfortable. Venue ideal. Food, very good.
The staff made us feel important and special. It's a beautiful hotel! Schucker's restaurant serves excellent food too.
No complementary breakfast. Even a continental breakfast would be good.
friendly reception and staff morning paper beautiful building and setting helpful attitude adjustable fan speed and aircon in rooms photo book about the history of the hotel available on request
no refill of coffee / milk no refill of bar fridge poor communication of requests between shifts non-English speaking staff at house keeping telephone
The hotel is dated. The furnture in the room and lobby were old . Over priced.
Excellent location convenient to great shopping, restaurants, and Pike place market. Staff is attentive and on the ball. My room was fairly large, clean, quiet and well appointed. Room service for the late arrival was quite good and fast. The work out facilities were excellent and well kept. My family thinks this is the best hotel we have stayed at.
Not a thing wrong with this hotel. Please note that if booking more than one room for a family stay, and Dad is paying, book all rooms under one name so Dad gets all the credit for the stay.
Fantastic Service- I highly recommend the Hotel- Great Location, Easy Access- Very Classy- Rooms are great- amenities- Great pool/Spa and Gym. Next time we visit Seattle, we will stay there again
Location, atmosphere of the lobby, comfort of the room.
Easy chick in and out, staff friendly
Very comfortable bed.
Air conditioner was not cool enough.
Hotel was beautiful classy
Great location for getting to all Seattle sights. Beautiful architecture and lobby, public rooms. Traditional decor of room was lovely. Room very spacious. Bed really comfortable. Very clean.
$15 charge a day if you want to use the internet. Absurd in this day and age. Also $6 to us a computer/printer to print out a boarding pass. Felt like we were being nickel and dimed at a not inexpensive hotel. Decor could use updating. Carpets dirty and/or worn in places. Upholstery in rooms and hallways the same. Wish there were more outdoor space. Weather was beautiful, really no place to sit outside. No outside dining. No views from any room I was shown. We had view of the roof for $350 a night.
nice, quiet room
staff attitudes vary from disinterested to arrogant
Bed was luxurious and comfortable Quiet & Peaceful Clean Wonderful historic property
AC was located behind the curtains, so the room got very warm at night in the summer.
No Wifi in the room
The beautiful and historical building, the spacious room, the mattress and pillows. Very confortable. Perfect location. The best food in Seattle at Shuckers.
I really cannot understand why the american hotels are still carpeted and without an adequate ventilation. Dusty carpet!!!! If you're allergic, stay away.
location was great Shuckers restaurant excellent quiet rooms nice fitness center and spa Pool is clean and big hot tub is clean and huge
rooms need updating needs fresh coat of paint inside scaffolding outside our window fitness center nice but cramped
Spa and Pool excellent restaurant recommendations by Cathy from the Concierge Desk
no free WIFI (surprising in a hotel of this price range Charge of 1 Euro per page printing in the Business Center (again, very strange in this type of a hotel)
Great location. One concierge was fantastic and friendly. All staff was professional and responsive.
Too pricey. Seriously. I know Seattle can have high rates but this hotel is not worth the money for an average room and small amenities. The glitz in the lobby does not make up for the average, aging rooms.
Location. ..location. .
A little expensive. .....but very nice
1) staff provide world-class service 2) facility is beautifully anointed 3) food was gourmet calibre 4) knowledgeable concierge staff 5) location 6) spa is wonderful
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cannot think of a thing.
Staff were great, everyone we had contact with was very friendly and helpful (one of the most important factors in hotel satisfaction for us)!
