room service was too lengthy
Everything was absolutely beautiful I will definitely return for leisure
My hair dryer was not working
The Fairmont is non smoking. Yet someone smoked excessively to the point of causing an allergic reaction. I had to move rooms which was an inconvenience and I forgot newly purchased toiletries in my room. As I was travelling with pets, this was an inconvenience. Non-smoking means non-smoking. Not "well they have to pay extra for their room."
"Grand old hotel" flavour. HIstoric. Beautiful Christmas decorations in the lobby. Piano bar in the lobby, and lots of people having drinks there, so it felt fun.
The staff remembered our names and made us feel welcome during this busy holiday season. Excellent customer service from the valet to the concierge
It has the old world charm of a by gone era. We loved the staff who went out of their way to make our stay perfect.
The bar is not very intimate as it is really an extension of the lobby.
Location and the staff was great.
I love the Georgian room and exercise facilities. The location is perfect for access to downtown and a light rail stop a block away. Shuckers restaurant in the hotel is a favorite. Very helpful friendly staff.
The Fairmont is showing wear especially in carpet in hallways and in our room. I have stayed there over the years and things had always been kept up to date, areas are now looking shabby.
Classic old school grandeur.
This is a lovely old hotel that has been refurbished to retain its original charm. Large room. Linens were top shelf! Staff was excellent all around. Breakfast presentation was great.
Food at the bar was a little pricey for what it was.
Cudo to the cleaning crew of room my room
Complimentary internet access
The bed - slept like a baby 12 hours straight!
Luxury has a price.
The hotel was excellent
valet Parking little to price $ 47 box per night its to much in my opinion.
SPA, Food, Service
I genuinely cannot believe that they do not have double glazing or at least have internal sliders to block out the noise. Such a let down, really noisy and disturbed sleep as a result!
Location bed pillows spaciousness
TV in bedroom was too low for viewing in bed. No sound protection from outer room to bedroom
room spacious location
Great accommodations. Friendly staff and excellent service
Location, decor, friendly and professional service.
Window and door are not sound proofing, so can hear traffic on street and people talking when walking on the corridor.
the elegant hotel , great bed and pillows and big bathrooms made the stay wonderful. The location is a few blocks away from the shopping district, pike market and monorails stations.
The room was spacious, and very nice. Bathroom was also very roomy! Lobby was amazing, great place to meet our friends. I still dream about the lavender martini I had at the bar, try it, you won't be disappointed! Bought flowers at the market, dropped them off at the concierge, and they had them in a vase in our room when we returned from dinner. Walking distance to every where! Highly recommend this hotel!
this hotel is so beautiful and the staff are super nice(we got complimentary upgrade to corner suite and a free bed added) love here definitely recommended
Seafood and service at the restaurant was excellent. Convenient walking distance to downtown shopping and light rail.
Cost of drinks and snacks in room.
Safe, not anxious and crowded, but calming and comfortable--with class. Snack food good
Uncomfortable chairs in lounge area
