Check in person friendly. amenities. wi-fi and clean room. the best price around.!!!!!! non-smoking room
room smell was musty
I was allowed to change rooms after the complaint about the tub since I like to clean up after the day's activities. Wifi was pretty good once I knew how to get on to their network. It was reasonably fast.
In the first room, the tub had holes in the porcelain so that the water would never have stayed in during a bath, and the tub surface itself did not look like anything I would want to stand on. Motel room structures need renovation pretty badly. There was a big crack in the ceiling of the room I was moved to. Had kind of a Bates Motel feel to it. I don't think they can call it a "Budget" motel unless they can beat Motel 6s lowest prices. The three days I stayed at the Family Budget Inn were the most expensive three days in any motel where I've stayed for three days.
They did not honor bookings. Com price.. I had to pay 40 dollars more than the confirmed price quote from bookings.i asked him why the difference and his statement was they ( bookings charge for the service).. I thought he had honor... Plus.HOUSEKEEPING Did not replace Kleenex tissues or cups in my room. I was pressed for time because of family commitments.or I would have sought out other lodgings.from the start....
Peter Patel was a gracious host, told us let us know if we needed anything. ..from reading previous reviews, I knew this would be nothing fancy, and for the price that was ok with us, as we spent most of our time exploring the Buffalo River...just needed a place to sleep. Plenty of green space nearby, which was great since we had 2 small dogs. Although $10 per pet/night turned the budget motel into a rate that had me wondering if a better deal could be had elsewhere. Plenty of vacancy on this trip equals a nice quiet stay.
The bathroom faucet handles were a bit wierd, installed backwards or something, the shower handles were very touchy, one little tweak and you're either scalding or freezing. TV went kaput on last night there. Serions lack of wall outlets.
Price is great for just a place to sleep and shower. Staff were friendly and location was quiet.
Towels are like drying off with a paper towel they are so thin and non- absorbent. If we stay here again we will bring our own towels.
forgot my phone charger... Management went out of there way to help me. Nice family.
Pretty run down
Friendly, helpful onsite owner. Have stayed several times over the years and he keeps improving the property. Certainly not fancy, but very clean with comfortable beds.
Quiet location. Large clean room. Comfortable bed. Water pressure in shower was ok. Wifi worked. A/c was cold. Parking in front of room was nice. Staff was friendly.
Shower did not have the curved shower bar and the shower curtain smelled of mildew. Had to be careful not to rub against the curtain while showering.
The rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Good place to stay if you are on a budget.
Room smelled of old smoke even though it was a no smoking room.
The wi-fi was slow in room 217. It might have been better in a room closer to the office.
Not near many restaurants
bed were comfortable, room size was nice
room was non smoking but smelled of old smoke
place is nicely kept. has all you really need.
A little distant from town if you are walking
Older facility and very clean with plenty of parking.
Mainly a motel for construction workers
Very Helpfull Staff
Staff were helpful - our pickup died and we had to get it sorted out. They let us stay past the time we should have left without charging extra (ok, we did end up staying an extra night, but we may not have needed to if the pickup was fixed right away).
There were some small random things not right and required assistance. Sure they got them sorted, but it should have already been done. Breakfast was baby donuts, coffee, juice - not what I consider breakfast.
Quite, close to everything
dead bugs behind bathroom door. toilet not clean, microwave not clean
Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and worked with me to fill special needs without complaint.
No bad marks on this hotel. Hotel was everything I expected for a budget hotel.
being charged twice
poor wifi the free breakfast was pitiful room was falling apart ice machine didn't work would not recommend to anyone
Low price and clean even though its an older place.
Hard to understand the owners (female) english.
The sheets had not been changed or checked, there was pubic hair on my sheets and hair from head on pillow Breakfast was severely lacking.Very little offered and having a single gallon of milk for everyone to pour from was disgusting and unsanitary.
Very close to North Ark campus and its disc golf course. Free wifi works fairly well. Mini fridge and microwave in the room
Feels outdated. The water pressure in the sink was weak. The towels are humorously small.
