Score from 243 reviews Wonderful
I was reading the reviews before I booked the room and I seen alot of reviews about the rooms being small I was thinking to myself well they can't be that small......I was wrong only one person can fit in that room! I love the lobby and service was great the bed omg so comfortable! But the room could only fit me and my one bag and I only weight 130 pounds...
The hotel was wonderful, nice atmosphere, comfortable bed,
I wantee a room with a bath and i didnt get it at first but after changing the room twice, i finally got a room with a bath.
For a so-called "green Hotel", they should add extra blankets in rooms. It is more ecologic to reduce room temperature and add blankets!
Internet is free
No refrigerator AC very noisy bed and cushions are not comfortable room is realy small
Bathroom was less than average
new 80" 4K Samsung TV in bar area. Small but functional lobby/bar/sitting area. Great restaurants in walking distance. Close Walgreens and a 7 story Sports Authority. 12 minute walk to Magnificant Mile. Connection to the Chicago Trolley just beside the McDonalds. Very friendy bar and concierge staff
Stay was too short!
The hotel was near several good places to eat and fairly easy to get to. The bed was great and the shower was pretty good.
My room was tiny, barely room for the bed and me. The TV remote was dead, toilet leaked and refilled all night, and the wifi was defective.
Location, Staff, Cleanliness, good free Wifi and Comfort.
My room was little, hair dryers not working even after it's changing with a different one; no fridge in the room; no complimentary coffee pot.
The staff was very helpful and most friendly. They made every effort to make sureI was comfortable. The fitness room, though compact, was well-outfitted with top notch equipment and free weights. Hotel is very clean.
The rooms are extremely small by American standards, and the helpful staff worked hard to make sure I did not have one of the smaller rooms! It is workable for one person, but I think would be difficult for two people to stay in one room. The noise level is high between rooms (water running, coughing amd various noises can easily be heard) and from the hall. If hotel guests could just shut their mouths when returning to their rooms it would be considerate.
The location is the best feature that the hotel currently has to offer its guests.
Front desk did not understand how booking.com reservation worked. No bath products in room. Plastic bags on bed as those housekeeping was interrupted and never returned. No menu in room, had to go online. Room service forgot my drink, received it...and quite watered down. Medium well burger was barely medium, unfortunately room service was closed by that time. Hair of unknown origin in shower. All around appearance of aging to rooms.
Central location. Valet parking
The location was good for exploring Chicago. The room was clean and quite, and the wifi was ok.
I liked the modern look of the hotel as well as the location. It was located next to some very good restaurants and only a few miles away from downtown Chicago.
The rooms were absolutely tiny. As a college student trying to take my girlfriend somewhere for fall break, I feel as if I way over paid for our one night here. Also, our sheets had stains on them that we noticed before we went to bed, so we completely took them off and slept without them. Very mediocre experience. Would not stay here again.
Very noisy till late mornings, parking for ones vehicle is expensive
Location was good and staff friendly
The location was fantastic if you need a place to stay for the Chicago Marathon. 4 blocks away is the red line on Chicago Ave. which you then take to Jackson and BAM! you're at the marathon! Great location to a lot of the downtown shops including the Magnificent Mile! The price was great since it was marathon weekend! The baggage room was quite handy since we weren't going to be able to get back to the room in time to check out from the race!
There was a concert going on outside at the Hard Rock which was pretty loud. Our room was super duper small...we kept banging into each other and had hardly any space to put our stuff. The room also only had a shower and no bath...not a huge deal, but as a runner I was bummed!
The beds, Wi-fi and and near the city
loudly air-condition, difficult to open the window
The staff are good.
he room size.
My room location wasn't great, too much noise; wi-fi was quite slow, restaurant looked good but food was so-so
The convenience of being right downtown! Able to walk lots of places downtown! Valet parking was great! Beautiful inside and amazing staff!
The room was super small! But very nice! A little exspensive for the size of the room!!
Kind Staff, good location
The noise insulation is poor. I can clearly hear the noise from the outside. This is even worse as the hotel is near a bar and I totally can't sleep at night.
-Comfortable room -Free Wifi in the room -Walking distance to a lot of shopping and entertainment -Whole foods is just down the street for those of us who are health conscious
-I wish the shower was a bit bigger in the room, it felt a little like a closet -A bit more counter space in the bathroom as well, the bathrooms overall are tiny compared to other boutique hotels downtown
Rooms were updated and very clean Location was great Accomodated an early check in
It does not state on the booking.com site nor do they advise when you check in that they hold $50 per night for incidentals even when providing a credit card. This really should be stated somewhere
We stayed only one night and wished we had stayed longer. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The have a fantastic French themed restaurant with wonderful breakfast options. We will be back.
