The owner was very friendly and helpful .The price was right for what we needed ,basically a place to sleep in Stowe as our visit was to meet with old friends for dinner and then on to Burlington in the early am Breakfast was simple but very good the room we had was clean

The inn is very tired and needs an update Linens rad towels were worn ,lots of dusty fdried flowers .The tap in our shower fell off mid shower Definitely needs Martha Stewart

Bud is an amazing Innkeeper. He's an old throw-back hippie like myself. The place is a bit far from the action in Stowe, but perfect for a romantic getaway. The rooms are a bit small and rustic, but if you are aware of that they will not disappoint. Eat breakfast late, and you get to talk with the hosts essentially alone. Most of the others get up and out early to go hiking!

It is a bit farther from the "action" than I would have preferred. Action being places to eat, etc. There is a significant amount of deferred maintenance to the place, so come prepared - it's rustic. I would have enjoyed its ambiance a bit more if I had been 20 years younger, and wanted to stay in my room with my mate all day!

The Fiddler's Green Inn is a homey house, made from wood. It is located in the outskirts of Stowe: close enough to all relevant attractions, but distant enough to be quiet and romantic. Bud's a great host, and his breakfast are simple and good. We had Pancakes for the first morning, and French Toast for the second. The food is made just when you ask for it, so it's fresh and warm. If you'd like a place with some character, and some interaction with other guests (during breakfast), it's a perfect spot.

    Friendly owner

Breakfast was slow, facilities could use some updating. I think we could have found better for the money.

The breakfast was most substantial. The location was good. The creek behind the house was picturesque.

The Inn appeared tired and well worn. Our bathroom facilities were extremely cramped. The door of our bedroom scraped on the floor and our wash room door would not close. The flooring upstairs needed to be refinished.

    Nice place, friendly host,good breakfast.

The "Queen" bed was really two twins put together and there were cobwebs and spiders in the bathroom.
