price and location
I liked the price and the bedding was clean.
Under the bed there was piles of crumbs and a toy car. One of the headboards needed to be cleaned badly, it looked oily and had something that looked splattered on it! :/ Gross!
The beds and pillows. The location across the street from the casino. Nice hot breakfast.
Great hotel for the value. Very clean!
Older building, well updated. Across street from Emerald Queen Casino area.
A lot of traffic. Need to ask for room on backside of building to avoid traffic noise.
The bed was really comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. Nice clean rooms, would have liked to see the fully updated hardwood floor rooms but was still nice.
There was sticky stuff in the drawers, couldn't put the clothes in there. First night had crazy guest next door complaining we were loud just bc we were outside smoking at 230 which we were NOT being loud but staff still yelled at us automatically taking their side.
The beds were not very firm. The matttesses felt older and need to be replaced by ones with better support.
We had made advanced reservations several weeks ahead and we were asked to wait in the lobby for our room to be cleaned as they gave us rooms that had been long term used and very dirty. They weren't very accommodating in any way. Once we did get to our rooms they were satisfactory.
Location and staff at morning breakfast.
The heater was unreliable, sometimes hot, sometimes old. Furniture really outdated. Coffee maker on vanity counter with no outlet to plug in except of other side of counter. TV was unplugged which was discovered after trying numerous time with the remote to get in on.
If you really want to boost up your occupancy rate carter for foreigners or tourist group, you will need to provide convenience for them to go to the place of interests. You could provide a in house bus to offer city tour in Seattle. You could provide budget bus or van services to carry customers to the airport. You should provide a van or bus to carry passenger to a nearer subway station or bus terminal for them to get to Seattle city either free of charge or a small charges can be accepted. That will sure to increase your occupancy rate. Regards, Jeremy Yap
Desk clerk was extremely nice and helpful. Room was pristine, spacious, and quiet. Outstanding value for the money.
Close to where I needed to be.
1. This is a motel, not an Inn. When the door to your room opens to the outside it is a motel. 2. There was a large transvestite party at the hotel and there was a lot of noise and fights. 3. Fridge in the room didn't work. When I checked to make sure it was plugged in, it wasn't. When I plugged it in it was really loud so I unplugged it again. 3. Air conditioner that drew air from outside was loud and also drew sound from outside. 4. Room was basically surfaced cleaned quickly. 5. WIFI is open network so the truck drivers who park in the lot next door get WIFI for free while it was so slow I couldn't use it. 6. I said something but there were no smoking rooms to change with so we just stayed. 7. Beds were actual springs, low quality with low thread count sheets. 8. There is another Quality Inn down the road from this one same name but much newer and much nicer. 9. "Casino" across the street is a smoke filled mess with a flavorless buffet for $15. Huge casino but not kept up, garbage in cans overfull and floor dirty.
Lack of conviena outlets
Continental breakfast! Pillows. Close to event we attended. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Was able to check in early by an hour and was put in a room away from rooms with families.
Horrible smell in room. It was over freshened with an strong chemical smell got worse when heat or air was turned on. No screens on windows, which I had to open due to smell. Some of the guests lifestyles were questionable.
Although the add states 3 stars and shows a nice suite this was not the case with my room which was average at best. It seems more often then not when I book through an alternate Web site the room turns out to be poorly located.
I liked the exterior entrance to the room. Ice machine and lobby were nearby all rooms. Breakfast was good. Staff was professional and friendly.
I didn't like cars speeding through the back parking lot at night but that's not Quality Inn's fault.
Location Casino across the street has great restaurant Comfy beds Cleanliness Value for the money Lots of traffic (white noise) to drown out any noise outside the room
Omg so noisy...people outside might as well have been in the room. Pretty sure this was the noisiest room I've ever stayed in, but honestly, the bed was so comfortable it made up for it.
Room was comfortable Good hot breakfast
Found a hair and dirt on bottom sheet. It took 2 phone calls and 1/2 hour to bring another sheet. Then we had to change the sheets ourselves.
The lady at the front desk was great. Her name is Johna, she is friendly and professional! The room was nice , clean, and very comfortable!
Very clean room. Large size room. Very comfy bed. With in walking distance to several things. Friendly staff. Breakfast ok.
This trip was a reunion with a friend that I havent seen since2006 and we were going to the Puyallup Fair. She flew into Seattle from Kenniwick and I drove up from Vancouver Wa. We checked in on Friday 9/5/2014. Caught up on old times and went to sleep around 11:30 pm. At 3:15 am we were waken by yelling and fighting people in the next room. I called the dest and informed them to call the police. After an hour more of this , I called back and was informedthat there was no one in that room fighting. I told the desk clerk that it was still going on, she said she was sorry. The yelling stoped about 5:30am, I and my friend tried to go back to sleep but had a wake-up call for 7:00am. SO NO SLEEP! I talked to the clerk when we went to breakfast and she said that they sent the police to the wrong room and again said that they were sorry. I expected to at least be compensated for that night, but NO. I will be calling the GM!
We were looking forward to staying here because it seemed like a good deal for the location and it had positive reviews. Unfortunately, the only thing positive from our stay was the free breakfast. They actually had a good selection of waffles, eggs, sausage, breads, bagels, cereals, pastries, fruit, and yogurt, which was a whole lot more than the continental breakfasts that more expensive hotels serve. It was also nice to see the smiles of the staff that worked the breakfast, they're very accommodating. The only positive about the hotel's location was the casino and the nice gas station directly across the street. We don't gamble, but I'm sure for those that do, staying in a hotel directly across is a bonus. The gas station was a very nice, contemporary, and clean facility. It was helpful for us in that it had lots of grass area when walking our dog.
Our stay started on our sour note... After driving more than 15 hrs from ca, and finally arriving at the hotel at 4am, we not greeted with a warm welcome by Barbara, the night mgr. She was extremely cold and unfriendly. No smile, no hello, no eye contact, no thank you, no hospitality, no customer service. She was plain rude!!! We said hello and her reply was, "you know we're still going to charge you with the one night's stay." She mumbled when she spoke, and with her being Hispanic, having an accent, and speaking very fast, she was very difficult to understand. But at that point, we didn't care, we just wanted to get out of there and into our room to get some sleep. The location was terrible. Because of all the trucks passing by, and the hotel room windows not being double-paned, it was noisy day and night. The bed sheets had cigarette stains, the rooms were old and outdated (and smelled that way, too), the bathroom door wouldn't shut... The hotel is pet-friendly, but provided no "pet area" to walk around on so we always had to walk to the gas station across the street. This hotel is definitely a first and last one for us, and we will not be recommending it to anyone.
The room was comfortable and we were towing a car hauler and they had a big truck parking lot next door that we could get in and out of easily.
We are from a small town and there was a LOT of traffic out on the street.
Easy access. Good breakfast
Right by the freeway. Rather noisy.
